  1. 亚撒的儿子约沙法接续他作王，奋勇自强，防备以色列人，
  2. 安置军兵在犹大一切坚固城里，又安置防兵在犹大地和他父亚撒所得以法莲的城邑中。
  3. 耶和华与约沙法同在。因为他行他祖大卫初行的道，不寻求巴力，
  4. 只寻求他父亲的神，遵行他的诫命，不效法以色列人的行为。
  5. 所以耶和华坚定他的国，犹大众人给他进贡。约沙法大有尊荣资财。
  1. And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.
  2. And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.
  3. And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;
  4. But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
  5. Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.
 
 
  1. 他高兴遵行耶和华的道，并且从犹大除掉一切邱坛和木偶。
  2. 他作王第三年，就差遣臣子便亥伊勒，俄巴底，撒迦利雅，拿坦业，米该亚往犹大各城去教训百姓。
  3. 同着他们有利未人示玛雅，尼探雅，西巴第雅，亚撒黑，示米拉末，约拿单，亚多尼雅，多比雅，驼巴多尼雅，又有祭司以利沙玛，约兰同着他们。
  4. 他们带着耶和华的律法书，走遍犹大各城教训百姓。
  5. 耶和华使犹大四围的列国都甚恐惧，不敢与约沙法争战。
  1. And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.
  2. Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Benhail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah.
  3. And with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.
  4. And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.
  5. And the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.
 
 
  1. 有些非利士人与约沙法送礼物，纳贡银。阿拉伯人也送他公绵羊七千七百只，公山羊七千七百只。
  2. 约沙法日渐强大，在犹大建造营寨和积货城。
  3. 他在犹大城邑中有许多工程，又在耶路撒冷有战士，就是大能的勇士。
  4. 他们的数目，按着宗族，记在下面，犹大族的，千夫长押拿为首率领大能的勇士三十万。
  5. 其次是，千夫长约哈难率领大能的勇士二十八万。
  1. Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the Arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.
  2. And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store.
  3. And he had much business in the cities of Judah: and the men of war, mighty men of valour, were in Jerusalem.
  4. And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valour three hundred thousand.
  5. And next to him was Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand.
 
 
  1. 其次是细基利的儿子亚玛斯雅，他为耶和华牺牲自己，率领大能的勇士二十万。
  2. 便雅悯族，是大能的勇士以利雅大率领，拿弓箭和盾牌的二十万。
  3. 其次是，约萨拔率领预备打仗的十八万。
  4. 这都是伺候王的，还有王在犹大全地坚固城所安置的不在其内。
  1. And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the LORD; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valour.
  2. And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of valour, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.
  3. And next him was Jehozabad, and with him an hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the war.
  4. These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Judah.
