  1. Then Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David, and Jehoram his son became king in his place.
  2. He had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azaryahu, Michael and Shephatiah. All these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.
  3. Their father gave them many gifts of silver, gold and precious things, with fortified cities in Judah, but he gave the kingdom to Jehoram because he was the firstborn.
  4. Now when Jehoram had taken over the kingdom of his father and made himself secure, he killed all his brothers with the sword, and some of the rulers of Israel also.
  5. Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
  1. 约沙法与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他儿子约兰接续他作王。
  2. 约兰有几个兄弟，就是约沙法的儿子亚撒利雅，耶歇，撒迦利雅，亚撒利雅，米迦勒，示法提雅。这都是犹大王约沙法的儿子。
  3. 他们的父亲将许多金银，财宝，和犹大地的坚固城赐给他们。但将国赐给约兰，因为他是长子。
  4. 约兰兴起坐他父的位，奋勇自强，就用刀杀了他的众兄弟和以色列的几个首领。
  5. 约兰登基的时候年三十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王八年。
 
 
  1. He walked in the way of the kings of Israel, just as the house of Ahab did (for Ahab's daughter was his wife), and he did evil in the sight of the LORD.
  2. Yet the LORD was not willing to destroy the house of David because of the covenant which He had made with David, and since He had promised to give a lamp to him and his sons forever.
  3. In his days Edom revolted against the rule of Judah and set up a king over themselves.
  4. Then Jehoram crossed over with his commanders and all his chariots with him. And he arose by night and struck down the Edomites who were surrounding him and the commanders of the chariots.
  5. So Edom revolted against Judah to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time against his rule, because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.
  1. 他行以色列诸王的道，与亚哈家一样。因他娶了亚哈的女儿为妻，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事。
  2. 耶和华却因自己与大卫所立的约，不肯灭大卫的家，照他所应许的，永远赐灯光与大卫和他的子孙。
  3. 约兰年间，以东人背叛犹大，脱离他的权下，自己立王。
  4. 约兰就率领军长和所有的战车，夜间起来，攻击围困他的以东人和车兵长。
  5. 这样，以东人背叛犹大，脱离他的权下，直到今日。那时，立拿人也背叛了，因为约兰离弃耶和华他列祖的神。
 
 
  1. Moreover, he made high places in the mountains of Judah, and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the harlot and led Judah astray.
  2. Then a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet saying, "Thus says the LORD God of your father David, 'Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father and the ways of Asa king of Judah,
  3. but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the harlot as the house of Ahab played the harlot, and you have also killed your brothers, your own family, who were better than you,
  4. behold, the LORD is going to strike your people, your sons, your wives and all your possessions with a great calamity;
  5. and you will suffer severe sickness, a disease of your bowels, until your bowels come out because of the sickness, day by day.'"
  1. 他又在犹大诸山建筑邱坛，使耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，诱惑犹大人。
  2. 先知以利亚达信与约兰说，耶和华你祖大卫的神如此说，因为你不行你父约沙法和犹大王亚撒的道，
  3. 乃行以色列诸王的道，使犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，像亚哈家一样，又杀了你父家比你好的诸兄弟。
  4. 故此，耶和华降大灾与你的百姓和你的妻子，儿女，并你一切所有的。
  5. 你的肠子必患病，日加沉重，以致你的肠子坠落下来。
 
 
  1. Then the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines and the Arabs who bordered the Ethiopians;
  2. and they came against Judah and invaded it, and carried away all the possessions found in the king's house together with his sons and his wives, so that no son was left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.
  3. So after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable sickness.
  4. Now it came about in the course of time, at the end of two years, that his bowels came out because of his sickness and he died in great pain. And his people made no fire for him like the fire for his fathers.
  5. He was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years; and he departed with no one's regret, and they buried him in the city of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.
  1. 以后，耶和华激动非利士人和靠近古实的阿拉伯人来攻击约兰。
  2. 他们上来攻击犹大，侵入境内，掳掠了王宫里所有的财货和他的妻子，儿女，除了他小儿子约哈斯（又名亚哈谢）之外，没有留下一个儿子。
  3. 这些事以后，耶和华使约兰的肠子患不能医治的病。
  4. 他患此病缠绵日久，过了二年，肠子坠落下来，病重而死。他的民没有为他烧什么物件，像从前为他列祖所烧的一样。
  5. 约兰登基的时候年三十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王八年。他去世无人思慕，众人葬他在大卫城，只是不在列王的坟墓里。
