  1. 此后,约伯开口咒诅自己的生日,说,
  2. 愿我生的那日,
  3. 和说怀了男胎的那夜都灭没。
  4. 愿那日变为黑暗。愿神不从上面寻梢它。愿亮光不照于其上。
  5. 愿黑暗和死荫索取那日。愿密云停在其上。愿日蚀恐吓它。
  1. After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.
  2. He said:
  3. "May the day of my birth perish, and the night it was said, 'A boy is born!'
  4. That day--may it turn to darkness; may God above not care about it; may no light shine upon it.
  5. May darkness and deep shadow claim it once more; may a cloud settle over it; may blackness overwhelm its light.
 
 
  1. 愿那夜被幽暗夺取,不在年中的日子同乐,也不入月中的数目。
  2. 愿那夜没有生育,其间也没有欢乐的声音。
  3. 愿那咒诅日子且能惹动鳄鱼的,咒诅那夜。
  4. 愿那夜黎明的星宿变为黑暗,盼亮却不亮,也不见早晨的光线(光线原文作眼皮)。
  5. 因没有把怀我胎的门关闭,也没有将患难对我的眼隐藏。
  1. That night--may thick darkness seize it; may it not be included among the days of the year nor be entered in any of the months.
  2. May that night be barren; may no shout of joy be heard in it.
  3. May those who curse days curse that day, those who are ready to rouse Leviathan.
  4. May its morning stars become dark; may it wait for daylight in vain and not see the first rays of dawn,
  5. for it did not shut the doors of the womb on me to hide trouble from my eyes.
 
 
  1. 我为何不出母胎而死。为何不出母腹绝气。
  2. 为何有膝接收我。为何有奶哺养我。
  3. 不然,我就早已躺卧安睡。
  4. 和地上为自己重造荒邱的君王,谋士。
  5. 或与有金子,将银子装满了房屋的王子一同安息。
  1. "Why did I not perish at birth, and die as I came from the womb?
  2. Why were there knees to receive me and breasts that I might be nursed?
  3. For now I would be lying down in peace; I would be asleep and at rest
  4. with kings and counselors of the earth, who built for themselves places now lying in ruins,
  5. with rulers who had gold, who filled their houses with silver.
 
 
  1. 或像隐而未现,不到期而落的胎,归于无有,如同未见光的婴孩。
  2. 在那里恶人止息搅扰,困乏人得享安息。
  3. 被囚的人同得安逸,不听见督工的声音。
  4. 大小都在那里。奴仆脱离主人的辖制。
  5. 受患难的人,为何有光赐给他呢。心中愁苦的人,为何有生命赐给他呢。
  1. Or why was I not hidden in the ground like a stillborn child, like an infant who never saw the light of day?
  2. There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest.
  3. Captives also enjoy their ease; they no longer hear the slave driver's shout.
  4. The small and the great are there, and the slave is freed from his master.
  5. "Why is light given to those in misery, and life to the bitter of soul,
 
 
  1. 他们切望死,却不得死。求死,胜于求隐藏的珍宝。
  2. 他们寻见坟墓就快乐,极其欢喜。
  3. 人的道路既然遮隐,神又把他四面围困,为何有光赐给他呢。
  4. 我未曾吃饭就发出叹息。我唉哼的声音涌出如水。
  5. 因我所恐惧的临到我身,我所惧怕的迎我而来。
  1. to those who long for death that does not come, who search for it more than for hidden treasure,
  2. who are filled with gladness and rejoice when they reach the grave?
  3. Why is life given to a man whose way is hidden, whom God has hedged in?
  4. For sighing comes to me instead of food; my groans pour out like water.
  5. What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.
 
 
  1. 我不得安逸,不得平静,也不得安息,却有患难来到。
  1. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil."
