  1. Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered,
  2. "If one ventures a word with you, will you become impatient? But who can refrain from speaking?
  3. "Behold you have admonished many, And you have strengthened weak hands.
  4. "Your words have helped the tottering to stand, And you have strengthened feeble knees.
  5. "But now it has come to you, and you are impatient; It touches you, and you are dismayed.
  1. 毯螅人以利法回答说，
  2. 人若想与你说话，你就厌烦麽。但谁能忍住不说呢。
  3. 你素来教导许多的人，又坚固软弱的手。
  4. 你的言语曾扶助那将要跌倒的人。你又使软弱的膝稳固。
  5. 但现在祸患临到你，你就昏迷，挨近你，你便惊惶。
 
 
  1. "Is not your fear of God your confidence, And the integrity of your ways your hope?
  2. "Remember now, who ever perished being innocent? Or where were the upright destroyed?
  3. "According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity And those who sow trouble harvest it.
  4. "By the breath of God they perish, And by the blast of His anger they come to an end.
  5. "The roaring of the lion and the voice of the fierce lion, And the teeth of the young lions are broken.
  1. 你的倚靠不是在你敬畏神麽。你的盼望不是在你行事纯正麽。
  2. 请你追想，无辜的人有谁灭亡。正直的人在何处剪除。
  3. 按我所见，耕罪孽，种毒害的人，都照样收割。
  4. 神一出气，他们就灭亡。神一发怒，他们就消没。
  5. 狮子的吼叫，和猛狮的声音，尽都止息。少壮狮子的牙齿，也都敲掉。
 
 
  1. "The lion perishes for lack of prey, And the whelps of the lioness are scattered.
  2. "Now a word was brought to me stealthily, And my ear received a whisper of it.
  3. "Amid disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night, When deep sleep falls on men,
  4. Dread came upon me, and trembling, And made all my bones shake.
  5. "Then a spirit passed by my face; The hair of my flesh bristled up.
  1. 老狮子因绝食而死。母狮之子也都离散。
  2. 我暗暗地得了默示。我耳朵也听其细微的声音。
  3. 在思念夜中，异象之间，世人沉睡的时候。
  4. 恐惧，战兢临到我身，使我百骨打战。
  5. 有灵从我面前经过，我身上的毫毛直立。
 
 
  1. "It stood still, but I could not discern its appearance; A form was before my eyes; There was silence, then I heard a voice:
  2. 'Can mankind be just before God? Can a man be pure before his Maker?
  3. 'He puts no trust even in His servants; And against His angels He charges error.
  4. 'How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before the moth!
  5. 'Between morning and evening they are broken in pieces; Unobserved, they perish forever.
  1. 那灵停住，我却不能辨其形状。有影像在我眼前。我在静默中听见有声音说，
  2. 必死的人岂能比神公义麽。人岂能比造他的主洁净麽。
  3. 主不信靠他的臣仆，并且指他的使者为愚昧。
  4. 何况那住在土房，根基在尘土里，被蠹虫所毁坏的人呢。
  5. 早晚之间，就被毁灭，永归无有，无人理会。
 
 
  1. 'Is not their tent-cord plucked up within them? They die, yet without wisdom.'
  1. 他帐棚的绳索岂不从中抽出来呢。他死，且是无智慧而死。
