  1. 约伯回答说,
  2. 你们真是子民哪,你们死亡,智慧也就灭没了。
  3. 但我也有聪明,与你们一样,并非不及你们。你们所说的,谁不知道呢。
  4. 我这求告神,蒙他应允的人,竟成了朋友所讥笑的。公义完全人,竟受了人的讥笑。
  5. 安逸的人,心里藐视灾祸。这灾祸常常等待滑脚的人。
  1. Then Job replied:
  2. "Doubtless you are the people, and wisdom will die with you!
  3. But I have a mind as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know all these things?
  4. "I have become a laughingstock to my friends, though I called upon God and he answered-- a mere laughingstock, though righteous and blameless!
  5. Men at ease have contempt for misfortune as the fate of those whose feet are slipping.
 
 
  1. 强盗的帐棚兴旺,惹神的人稳固,神多将财物送到他们手中。
  2. 你且问走兽,走兽必指教你。又问空中的飞鸟,飞鸟必告诉你。
  3. 或与地说话,地必指教你。海中的鱼也必向你说明。
  4. 看这一切,谁不知道是耶和华的手做成的呢。
  5. 凡活物的生命,和人类的气息,都在他手中。
  1. The tents of marauders are undisturbed, and those who provoke God are secure-- those who carry their god in their hands.
  2. "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
  3. or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you.
  4. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?
  5. In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.
 
 
  1. 耳朵岂不试验言语,正如上膛尝食物麽。
  2. 年老的有智慧,寿高的有知识。
  3. 在神有智慧和能力,他有谋略和知识。
  4. 他拆毁的,就不能再建造。他捆住人,便不得开释。
  5. 他把水留住,水便枯乾。他再发出水来,水就翻地。
  1. Does not the ear test words as the tongue tastes food?
  2. Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?
  3. "To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his.
  4. What he tears down cannot be rebuilt; the man he imprisons cannot be released.
  5. If he holds back the waters, there is drought; if he lets them loose, they devastate the land.
 
 
  1. 在他有能力和智慧。被诱惑的,与诱惑人的,都是属他。
  2. 他把谋士剥衣掳去,又使审判官变成愚人。
  3. 他放松君王的绑,又用带子捆他们的腰。
  4. 他把祭司剥衣掳去,又使有能的人倾败。
  5. 他废去忠信人的讲论,又夺去老人的聪明。
  1. To him belong strength and victory; both deceived and deceiver are his.
  2. He leads counselors away stripped and makes fools of judges.
  3. He takes off the shackles put on by kings and ties a loincloth around their waist.
  4. He leads priests away stripped and overthrows men long established.
  5. He silences the lips of trusted advisers and takes away the discernment of elders.
 
 
  1. 他使君王蒙羞被辱,放松有力之人的腰带。
  2. 他将深奥的事从黑暗中彰显,使死荫显为光明。
  3. 他使邦国兴旺而又毁灭,他使邦国开广而又掳去。
  4. 他将地上民中首领的聪明夺去,使他们在荒废无路之地漂流。
  5. 他们无光,在黑暗中摸索,又使他们东倒西歪,像醉酒的人一样。
  1. He pours contempt on nobles and disarms the mighty.
  2. He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into the light.
  3. He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses them.
  4. He deprives the leaders of the earth of their reason; he sends them wandering through a trackless waste.
  5. They grope in darkness with no light; he makes them stagger like drunkards.
