  1. 毯螅人以利法回答说,
  2. 智慧人岂可用虚空的知识回答,用东风充满肚腹呢。
  3. 他岂可用无益的话,和无济于事的言语,理论呢。
  4. 你是废弃敬畏的意,在神面前阻止敬虔的心。
  5. 你的罪孽指教你的口。你选用诡诈人的舌头。
  1. Then Eliphaz the Temanite responded,
  2. "Should a wise man answer with windy knowledge And fill himself with the east wind?
  3. "Should he argue with useless talk, Or with words which are not profitable?
  4. "Indeed, you do away with reverence And hinder meditation before God.
  5. "For your guilt teaches your mouth, And you choose the language of the crafty.
 
 
  1. 你自己的口定你有罪,并非是我。你自己的嘴,见证你的不是。
  2. 你岂是头一个被生的人麽。你受造在诸山之先麽。
  3. 你曾听见神的密旨麽。你还将智慧独自得尽麽。
  4. 你知道什么是我们不知道的呢。你明白什么是我们不明白的呢。
  5. 我们这里有白发的,和年纪老迈的,比你父亲还老。
  1. "Your own mouth condemns you, and not I; And your own lips testify against you.
  2. "Were you the first man to be born, Or were you brought forth before the hills?
  3. "Do you hear the secret counsel of God, And limit wisdom to yourself?
  4. "What do you know that we do not know? What do you understand that we do not?
  5. "Both the gray-haired and the aged are among us, Older than your father.
 
 
  1. 神用温和的话安慰你,你以为太小麽。
  2. 你的心为何将你逼去。你的眼为何冒出火星。
  3. 使你的灵反对神,也任你的口发这言语。
  4. 人是什么,竟算为洁净呢。妇人所生的是什么,竟算为义呢。
  5. 神不信靠他的众圣者。在他眼前,天也不洁净。
  1. "Are the consolations of God too small for you, Even the word spoken gently with you?
  2. "Why does your heart carry you away? And why do your eyes flash,
  3. That you should turn your spirit against God And allow such words to go out of your mouth?
  4. "What is man, that he should be pure, Or he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
  5. "Behold, He puts no trust in His holy ones, And the heavens are not pure in His sight;
 
 
  1. 何况那污秽可憎,喝罪孽如水的世人呢。
  2. 我指示你,你要听。我要述说所看见的。
  3. 就是智慧人从列祖所受,传说而不隐瞒的。
  4. (这地惟独赐给他们,并没有外人从他们中间经过)。
  5. 恶人一生之日劬劳痛苦,强暴人一生的年数也是如此。
  1. How much less one who is detestable and corrupt, Man, who drinks iniquity like water!
  2. "I will tell you, listen to me; And what I have seen I will also declare;
  3. What wise men have told, And have not concealed from their fathers,
  4. To whom alone the land was given, And no alien passed among them.
  5. "The wicked man writhes in pain all his days, And numbered are the years stored up for the ruthless.
 
 
  1. 惊吓的声音常在他耳中。在平安时,抢夺的必临到他那里。
  2. 他不信自己能从黑暗中转回,他被刀剑等候。
  3. 他漂流在外求食,说,那里有食物呢。他知道黑暗的日子,在他手边预备好了。
  4. 急难困苦叫他害怕,而且胜了他,好像君王预备上阵一样。
  5. 他伸手攻击神,以骄傲攻击全能者。
  1. "Sounds of terror are in his ears; While at peace the destroyer comes upon him.
  2. "He does not believe that he will return from darkness, And he is destined for the sword.
  3. "He wanders about for food, saying, 'Where is it?' He knows that a day of darkness is at hand.
  4. "Distress and anguish terrify him, They overpower him like a king ready for the attack,
  5. Because he has stretched out his hand against God And conducts himself arrogantly against the Almighty.
 
 
  1. 挺着颈项,用盾牌的厚凸面,向全能者直闯。
  2. 是因他的脸蒙上脂油,腰积成肥肉。
  3. 他曾住在荒凉城邑,无人居住,将成乱堆的房屋。
  4. 他不得富足,财物不得常存,产业在地上也不加增。
  5. 他不得出离黑暗。火焰要将他的枝子烧乾。因神口中的气,他要灭亡(灭亡原文作走去)。
  1. "He rushes headlong at Him With his massive shield.
  2. "For he has covered his face with his fat And made his thighs heavy with flesh.
  3. "He has lived in desolate cities, In houses no one would inhabit, Which are destined to become ruins.
  4. "He will not become rich, nor will his wealth endure; And his grain will not bend down to the ground.
  5. "He will not escape from darkness; The flame will wither his shoots, And by the breath of His mouth he will go away.
 
 
  1. 他不用倚靠虚假欺哄自己,因虚假必成为他的报应。
  2. 他的日期未到之先,这事必成就。他的枝子不得青绿。
  3. 他必像葡萄树的葡萄,未熟而落。又像橄榄树的花,一开而谢。
  4. 原来不敬虔之辈必无生育。受贿赂之人的帐棚必被火烧。
  5. 他们所怀的是毒害,所生的是罪孽,心里所豫备的是诡诈。
  1. "Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself; For emptiness will be his reward.
  2. "It will be accomplished before his time, And his palm branch will not be green.
  3. "He will drop off his unripe grape like the vine, And will cast off his flower like the olive tree.
  4. "For the company of the godless is barren, And fire consumes the tents of the corrupt.
  5. "They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity, And their mind prepares deception."
