约伯记 34 [简体:NIV]   
 
  1. 以利户又说,
  2. 你们智慧人,要听我的话。有知识的人,要留心听我说。
  3. 因为耳朵试验话语,好像上膛尝食物。
  4. 我们当选择何为是,彼此知道何为善。
  5. 约伯曾说,我是公义,神夺去我的理。
  1. Then Elihu said:
  2. "Hear my words, you wise men; listen to me, you men of learning.
  3. For the ear tests words as the tongue tastes food.
  4. Let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.
  5. "Job says, 'I am innocent, but God denies me justice.
 
 
  1. 我虽有理,还算为说谎言的。我虽无过,受的伤还不能医治。
  2. 谁像约伯,喝讥诮如同喝水呢。
  3. 他与作孽的结伴,和恶人同行。
  4. 他说,人以神为乐,总是无益。
  5. 所以你们明理的人,要听我的话。神断旁不至行恶,全能者断不至作孽。
  1. Although I am right, I am considered a liar; although I am guiltless, his arrow inflicts an incurable wound.'
  2. What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water?
  3. He keeps company with evildoers; he associates with wicked men.
  4. For he says, 'It profits a man nothing when he tries to please God.'
  5. "So listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, from the Almighty to do wrong.
 
 
  1. 他必按人所作的报应人,使各人照所行的得报。
  2. 神必不作恶,全能者也不偏离公平。
  3. 谁派他治理地,安定全世界呢。
  4. 他若专心为己,将灵和气收归自己。
  5. 凡有血气的就必一同死亡,世人必仍归尘土。
  1. He repays a man for what he has done; he brings upon him what his conduct deserves.
  2. It is unthinkable that God would do wrong, that the Almighty would pervert justice.
  3. Who appointed him over the earth? Who put him in charge of the whole world?
  4. If it were his intention and he withdrew his spirit and breath,
  5. all mankind would perish together and man would return to the dust.
 
 
  1. 你若明理,就当听我的话,留心听我言语的声音。
  2. 难道恨恶公平的可以掌权麽。那有公义的,有大能的,岂可定他有罪麽。
  3. 他对君王说,你是鄙陋的。对贵臣说,你是邪恶的。
  4. 他待王子不徇情面,也不看重富足的过于贫穷的,因为都是他手所造。
  5. 在转眼之间,半夜之中,他们就死亡。百姓被震动而去世。有权力的被夺去非借人手。
  1. "If you have understanding, hear this; listen to what I say.
  2. Can he who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One?
  3. Is he not the One who says to kings, 'You are worthless,' and to nobles, 'You are wicked,'
  4. who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?
  5. They die in an instant, in the middle of the night; the people are shaken and they pass away; the mighty are removed without human hand.
 
 
  1. 神注目观看人的道路,看明人的脚步。
  2. 没有黑暗,阴翳能给作孽的藏身。
  3. 神审判人,不必使人到他面前再三鉴察。
  4. 他用难测之法,打破有能力的人,设立别人代替他们。
  5. 他原知道他们的行为,使他们在夜间倾倒灭亡。
  1. "His eyes are on the ways of men; he sees their every step.
  2. There is no dark place, no deep shadow, where evildoers can hide.
  3. God has no need to examine men further, that they should come before him for judgment.
  4. Without inquiry he shatters the mighty and sets up others in their place.
  5. Because he takes note of their deeds, he overthrows them in the night and they are crushed.
 
 
  1. 他在众人眼前击打他们,如同击打恶人一样。
  2. 因为他们偏行不跟从他,也不留心他的道,
  3. 甚至使贫穷人的哀声,达到他那里。他也听了困苦人的哀声。
  4. 他使人安静,谁能扰乱(或作定罪)呢,他掩面谁能见他呢。无论待一国,或一人都是如此。
  5. 使不虔敬的人不得作王,免得有人牢宠百姓。
  1. He punishes them for their wickedness where everyone can see them,
  2. because they turned from following him and had no regard for any of his ways.
  3. They caused the cry of the poor to come before him, so that he heard the cry of the needy.
  4. But if he remains silent, who can condemn him? If he hides his face, who can see him? Yet he is over man and nation alike,
  5. to keep a godless man from ruling, from laying snares for the people.
 
 
  1. 有谁对神说,我受了责罚,不再犯罪。
  2. 我所看不明的,求你指教我。我若作了孽,必不再作。
  3. 他施行报应,岂要随你的心愿,叫你推辞不受麽。选定的是你,不是我。你所知道的只管说吧。
  4. 明理的人,和听我话的智慧人,必对我说。
  5. 约伯说话没有知识,言语中毫无智慧。
  1. "Suppose a man says to God, 'I am guilty but will offend no more.
  2. Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do so again.'
  3. Should God then reward you on your terms, when you refuse to repent? You must decide, not I; so tell me what you know.
  4. "Men of understanding declare, wise men who hear me say to me,
  5. 'Job speaks without knowledge; his words lack insight.'
 
 
  1. 愿约伯被试验到底,因他回答像恶人一样。
  2. 他在罪上又加悖逆。在我们中间拍手,用许多言语轻慢神。
  1. Oh, that Job might be tested to the utmost for answering like a wicked man!
  2. To his sin he adds rebellion; scornfully he claps his hands among us and multiplies his words against God."
