Proverbs 20 [NIV:简体]   
 
  1. Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
  2. A king's wrath is like the roar of a lion; he who angers him forfeits his life.
  3. It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.
  4. A sluggard does not plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing.
  5. The purposes of a man's heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.
  1. 酒能使人亵慢,浓酒使人喧囔。凡因酒错误的,就无智慧。
  2. 王的威吓,如同狮子吼叫。惹动他怒的,是自害己命。
  3. 远离分争,是人的尊荣。愚妄人都爱争闹。
  4. 懒惰人因冬寒不肯耕种。到收割的时候,他必讨饭,而无所得。
  5. 人心怀藏谋略,好像深水。惟明哲人,才能汲引出来。
 
 
  1. Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?
  2. The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.
  3. When a king sits on his throne to judge, he winnows out all evil with his eyes.
  4. Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"?
  5. Differing weights and differing measures-- the LORD detests them both.
  1. 人多述说自己的仁慈。但忠信人谁能遇着呢。
  2. 行为纯正的义人,他的子孙,是有福的。
  3. 王坐在审判的位上,以眼目驱散诸恶。
  4. 谁能说,我洁净了我的心。我脱净了我的罪。
  5. 两样的法码,两样的升斗,都为耶和华所憎恶。
 
 
  1. Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right.
  2. Ears that hear and eyes that see-- the LORD has made them both.
  3. Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare.
  4. "It's no good, it's no good!" says the buyer; then off he goes and boasts about his purchase.
  5. Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.
  1. 孩童的动作,是清洁,是正直,都显明他的本性。
  2. 能听的耳,能看的眼,都是耶和华所造的。
  3. 不要贪睡,免致贫穷。眼要睁开,你就吃饱。
  4. 买物的说,不好,不好。及至买去,他便自夸。
  5. 有金子,和许多珍珠。(或作红宝石)惟有知识的嘴,乃为贵重的珍宝。
 
 
  1. Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger; hold it in pledge if he does it for a wayward woman.
  2. Food gained by fraud tastes sweet to a man, but he ends up with a mouth full of gravel.
  3. Make plans by seeking advice; if you wage war, obtain guidance.
  4. A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much.
  5. If a man curses his father or mother, his lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.
  1. 谁为生人作保,就拿谁的衣服。谁为外人作保,谁就要承当。
  2. 以虚谎而得的食物,人觉甘甜。但后来他的口,必充满尘沙。
  3. 计谋都凭筹算立定。打仗要凭智谋。
  4. 往来传舌的,泄漏密事。大张嘴的不可与他结交。
  5. 咒骂父母的,他的灯必灭,变为漆黑的黑暗。
 
 
  1. An inheritance quickly gained at the beginning will not be blessed at the end.
  2. Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.
  3. The LORD detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please him.
  4. A man's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?
  5. It is a trap for a man to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider his vows.
  1. 起初速得的产业,终久却不为福。
  2. 你不要说,我要以恶报恶。要等候耶和华,他必拯救你。
  3. 两样的法码,为耶和华所憎恶。诡诈的天平,也为不善。
  4. 人的脚步,为耶和华所定。人岂能明白自己的路呢。
  5. 人冒失说,这是圣物,许愿之后才查问,就是自陷网罗。
 
 
  1. A wise king winnows out the wicked; he drives the threshing wheel over them.
  2. The lamp of the LORD searches the spirit of a man ; it searches out his inmost being.
  3. Love and faithfulness keep a king safe; through love his throne is made secure.
  4. The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.
  5. Blows and wounds cleanse away evil, and beatings purge the inmost being.
  1. 智慧的王,簸散恶人,用碌碡辊轧他们。
  2. 人的灵是耶和华的灯,鉴察人的心腹。
  3. 王因仁慈和诚实,得以保全他的国位,也因仁慈立稳。
  4. 强壮乃少年的荣耀。白发为老年人的尊荣。
  5. 鞭伤除净人的罪恶。责打能入人的心腹。
