Proverbs 29 [NIV:简体]   
 
  1. A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy.
  2. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.
  3. A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
  4. By justice a king gives a country stability, but one who is greedy for bribes tears it down.
  5. Whoever flatters his neighbor is spreading a net for his feet.
  1. 人屡次受责罚,仍然硬着颈项,他必顷刻败坏,无法可治。
  2. 义人增多,民就喜乐。恶人掌权,民就叹息。
  3. 爱慕智慧的,使父亲喜乐。与妓女结交的,却浪费钱财。
  4. 王藉公平,使国坚定。索要贿赂,使国倾败。
  5. 谄媚邻舍的,就是设网罗绊他的脚。
 
 
  1. An evil man is snared by his own sin, but a righteous one can sing and be glad.
  2. The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
  3. Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger.
  4. If a wise man goes to court with a fool, the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.
  5. Bloodthirsty men hate a man of integrity and seek to kill the upright.
  1. 恶人犯罪,自陷网罗。惟独义人,欢呼喜乐。
  2. 义人知道查明穷人的案。恶人没有聪明,就不得而知。
  3. 亵慢人煽惑通城。智慧人止息众怒。
  4. 智慧人与愚妄人相争,或怒,或笑,总不能使他止息。
  5. 好流人血的,恨恶完全人。索取正直人的性命。
 
 
  1. A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.
  2. If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked.
  3. The poor man and the oppressor have this in common: The LORD gives sight to the eyes of both.
  4. If a king judges the poor with fairness, his throne will always be secure.
  5. The rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.
  1. 愚妄人怒气全发。智慧人忍气含怒。
  2. 君王若听谎言,他一切臣仆都是奸恶。
  3. 贫穷人,强暴人,在世相遇,他们的眼目,都蒙耶和华光照。
  4. 君王凭诚实判断穷人,他的国位,必永远坚立。
  5. 杖打和责备,能加增智慧。放纵的儿子,使母亲羞愧。
 
 
  1. When the wicked thrive, so does sin, but the righteous will see their downfall.
  2. Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul.
  3. Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
  4. A servant cannot be corrected by mere words; though he understands, he will not respond.
  5. Do you see a man who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
  1. 恶人加多,过犯也加多。义人必看见他们跌倒。
  2. 管教你的儿子,他就使你得安息,也必使你心里喜乐。
  3. 没有异象,(或作默示)民就放肆。惟遵守律法的,便为有福。
  4. 只用言语,仆人不肯受管教,他虽然明白,也不留意。
  5. 你见言语急躁的人麽。愚昧人比他更有指望。
 
 
  1. If a man pampers his servant from youth, he will bring grief in the end.
  2. An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins.
  3. A man's pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.
  4. The accomplice of a thief is his own enemy; he is put under oath and dare not testify.
  5. Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
  1. 人将仆人从小娇养,这仆人终久必成了他的儿子。
  2. 好气的人,挑启争端。暴怒的人,多多犯罪。
  3. 人的高傲,必使他卑下。心里谦逊的,必得尊荣。
  4. 人与盗贼分赃,是恨恶自己的性命。他听见叫人发誓的声音,却不言语。
  5. 惧怕人的陷入网罗。惟有倚靠耶和华的,必得安稳。
 
 
  1. Many seek an audience with a ruler, but it is from the LORD that man gets justice.
  2. The righteous detest the dishonest; the wicked detest the upright.
  1. 求王恩的人多。定人事乃在耶和华。
  2. 为非作歹的,被义人憎嫌。行事正直的,被恶人憎恶。
