  2. ¸¶Ä§ ±× Áö¹æ ±ºÁÖÀÎ È÷À§ »ç¶÷ ÇϸôÀÇ ¾Æµé ¼¼°×ÀÌ µð³ª¸¦ º¸°í ºÙµé¾î´Ù°¡ °ÌÅ»ÇÏ¿´´Ù.

  1. Now Dinah, the daughter Leah had borne to Jacob, went out to visit the women of the land.
  2. When Shechem son of Hamor the Hivite, the ruler of that area, saw her, he took her and violated her.
  3. His heart was drawn to Dinah daughter of Jacob, and he loved the girl and spoke tenderly to her.
  4. And Shechem said to his father Hamor, "Get me this girl as my wife."
  5. When Jacob heard that his daughter Dinah had been defiled, his sons were in the fields with his livestock; so he kept quiet about it until they came home.

  3. ±×·± ÇüÆíÀε¥, ÇϸôÀÌ ±×µé¿¡°Ô ûȥÀ» ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ̾ú´Ù. "Á¦ ¾Æµé ³à¼®ÀÌ ´ìÀÇ µû´Ô¿¡°Ô ¾ÆÁÖ ¹ÝÇØ ¹ö·È½À´Ï´Ù. ±×·¯´Ï ´ìÀÇ µû´ÔÀ» ÀúÀÇ Áý¿¡ ¸ç´À¸®·Î º¸³»ÁֽʽÿÀ.
  4. ¿ì¸®¿Í ¼­·Î ÅëÈ¥ÇսôÙ. ´ç½Å³× µþÀ» ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÁÖ½Ã°í ¿ì¸® µþÀ» ´ç½ÅµéÀÌ µ¥·Á°¡½Ê½Ã¿À.
  5. ¿ì¸®¿Í ¾î¿ï·Á Áö³»¸é¼­, ÀÌ Áö¹æ ¾îµð¿¡¼­³ª ¸¶À½´ë·Î »ç½Ê½Ã¿À. ÀÚ¸®¸¦ ÀâÀ¸½Ã°í ÀÚÀ¯·Î µ¹¾Æ´Ù´Ï¸ç ¶¥À» Â÷ÁöÇϼŵµ ÁÁ½À´Ï´Ù."
  1. Then Shechem's father Hamor went out to talk with Jacob.
  2. Now Jacob's sons had come in from the fields as soon as they heard what had happened. They were filled with grief and fury, because Shechem had done a disgraceful thing in Israel by lying with Jacob's daughter--a thing that should not be done.
  3. But Hamor said to them, "My son Shechem has his heart set on your daughter. Please give her to him as his wife.
  4. Intermarry with us; give us your daughters and take our daughters for yourselves.
  5. You can settle among us; the land is open to you. Live in it, trade in it, and acquire property in it."

  3. ¾ß°öÀÇ ¾ÆµéµéÀº ÀÚ±âµéÀÇ ´©ÀÌ µð³ª°¡ ¿åº» °ÍÀ» »ý°¢Çϸé È­°¡ Ä¡¹Ð¾úÁö¸¸, ½ÃÄ¡¹Ì¸¦ ¶¼°í ¼¼°×°ú ±×ÀÇ ¾Æ¹öÁö Çϸô¿¡°Ô ´ë´äÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  4. "¾È µË´Ï´Ù. Çҷʸ¦ ¹ÞÁö ¾ÊÀº »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ¿ì¸® ´©À̸¦ ÁÙ ¼ö´Â ¾ø½À´Ï´Ù. ±×°ÍÀº ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ºÎ²ô·¯¿î ÀÏÀÔ´Ï´Ù." ±×·¯¸é¼­ ¾ß°öÀÇ ¾ÆµéµéÀº ±×µé¿¡°Ô ÀÌ·¸°Ô Á¦¾ÈÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  5. "ÇÑ °¡Áö ±æÀº ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ´ç½Å³× ³²ÀÚ°¡ ¸ðµÎ ¿ì¸®Ã³·³ Çҷʸ¦ ¹Þ°Ú½À´Ï±î? ±×·¡¾ß¸¸ ¿ì¸®´Â ´ç½ÅµéÀÇ Ã»È¥À» µé¾îÁÙ ¼ö ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
  1. Then Shechem said to Dinah's father and brothers, "Let me find favor in your eyes, and I will give you whatever you ask.
  2. Make the price for the bride and the gift I am to bring as great as you like, and I'll pay whatever you ask me. Only give me the girl as my wife."
  3. Because their sister Dinah had been defiled, Jacob's sons replied deceitfully as they spoke to Shechem and his father Hamor.
  4. They said to them, "We can't do such a thing; we can't give our sister to a man who is not circumcised. That would be a disgrace to us.
  5. We will give our consent to you on one condition only: that you become like us by circumcising all your males.

  2. ´ç½ÅµéÀÌ ÀÌ Á¶°ÇÀ» ¹Þ¾ÆµéÀÏ ¼ö°¡ ¾ø¾î Çҷʸ¦ ¹ÞÁö ¾Ê´Â´Ù¸é ¿ì¸®´Â ´©À̸¦ µ¥¸®°í ¿©±â¸¦ ¶°³ª°Ú½À´Ï´Ù."
  3. Çϸô°ú ÇϸôÀÇ ¾Æµé ¼¼°×Àº ¾ß°öÀÇ ¾ÆµéµéÀÌ ³»³õÀº Á¶°ÇÀÌ ÁÁÀ» °Í °°¾Ò´Ù.
  4. ±×·¡¼­ ±× ÀþÀºÀÌ´Â ¼­µÑ·¯ Çҷʸ¦ ¹Þ¾Ò´Ù. ±×¸¸Å­ ±×´Â ¾ß°öÀÇ µþÀ» ÁÁ¾ÆÇß´ø °ÍÀÌ´Ù. ±×·±µ¥ ±×´Â ¿Â °¡¹® °¡¿îµ¥¼­µµ °¡Àå ¼¼µµ ÀÖ´Â »ç¶÷À̾ú´Ù.
  5. Çϸô°ú ±×ÀÇ ¾Æµé ¼¼°×Àº ¼º¹®¿¡ ³ª°¡ ÀÚ±âµéÀÌ ´Ù½º¸®´Â Áֹε鿡°Ô ÀÌ·¸°Ô °øÆ÷ÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  1. Then we will give you our daughters and take your daughters for ourselves. We'll settle among you and become one people with you.
  2. But if you will not agree to be circumcised, we'll take our sister and go."
  3. Their proposal seemed good to Hamor and his son Shechem.
  4. The young man, who was the most honored of all his father's household, lost no time in doing what they said, because he was delighted with Jacob's daughter.
  5. So Hamor and his son Shechem went to the gate of their city to speak to their fellow townsmen.
  1. "À̺еéÀº ¾Æ¹«ÇÏ°í³ª Àß ¾î¿ï¸®´Â ºÐµéÀÌ´Ù. ÀÌ °íÀå¿¡¼­ ¿ì¸®¿Í ÇÔ²² »ì¸ç ¸¶À½´ë·Î ¿Õ·¡ÇÒ °ÍÀÌ´Ù. ÀÌ ¶¥Àº ¾î´À ÂÊÀ» º¸¾Æµµ ³Ð¾î¼­ ±×µéµµ ÇÔ²² »ì ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù. ±×µéÀÇ µþÀ» ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¾Æ³»·Î ¸Â¾Æ¿À°í ±×µéµµ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ µþÀ» ¾Æ³»·Î ¸Â¾Æ°¡°Ô ÇÏÀÚ.
  2. ±×·¯³ª À̺еéÀÌ ¿ì¸®¿Í ÇÔ²² »ì¸ç ¿ì¸®¿Í ÇÑ °Ü·¹°¡ µÇ´Â µ¥´Â ÇÑ °¡Áö Á¶°ÇÀÌ ÀÖ´Ù. ±×°ÍÀº ±×µéÀÌ Çҷʸ¦ ¹ÞÀº °Íó·³ ¿ì¸® ¸ðµç ³²ÀÚµµ Çҷʸ¦ ¹Þ¾Æ¾ß ÇÑ´Ù´Â °ÍÀÌ´Ù.
  3. °á±¹Àº ±×µéÀÇ ¾ç¶¼¿Í Àç»ê°ú ¸ðµç °¡ÃàÀÌ ¿ì¸® °ÍÀÌ µÇÁö ¾Ê°Ú´À³Ä? ±×·¯´Ï ±×µéÀÌ ³»³õÀº Á¶°ÇÀ» ¼ö¶ôÇÏ°í ±×µéÀ» ¿ì¸®¿Í ÇÔ²² »ì°Ô ÇÏÀÚ."
  4. ¼º¹®²²·Î ³ª¿Â ¸ðµç ÁÖ¹ÎÀÌ Çϸô°ú ±×ÀÇ ¾Æµé ¼¼°×ÀÇ ¸»À» ¹Þ¾Æµé¿´´Ù. ±×·¡¼­ ¼º¹®²²·Î ³ª¿Ô´ø ³²ÀÚ´Â ¸ðµÎ Çҷʸ¦ ¹Þ¾Ò´Ù.
  5. ±× ´ÙÀ½ ´ÙÀ½³¯ ±×µéÀÌ ¾ÆÁ÷ ¾ÆÆļ­ ½ÅÀ½ÇÏ°í ÀÖÀ» ¶§, ¾ß°öÀÇ ¾Æµé Áß µð³ªÀÇ Ä£¿ÀºüÀÎ ½Ã¹Ç¿Â°ú ·¹À§°¡ Ä®À» »© µé°í ´ç´çÇÏ°Ô ¼º ¾ÈÀ¸·Î µé¾î°¡ ³²ÀÚ¶ó´Â ³²ÀÚ´Â ¸ðÁ¶¸® Á׿©¹ö·È´Ù.
  1. "These men are friendly toward us," they said. "Let them live in our land and trade in it; the land has plenty of room for them. We can marry their daughters and they can marry ours.
  2. But the men will consent to live with us as one people only on the condition that our males be circumcised, as they themselves are.
  3. Won't their livestock, their property and all their other animals become ours? So let us give our consent to them, and they will settle among us."
  4. All the men who went out of the city gate agreed with Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male in the city was circumcised.
  5. Three days later, while all of them were still in pain, two of Jacob's sons, Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brothers, took their swords and attacked the unsuspecting city, killing every male.

  3. ±×µéÀº ¾ç¶¼, ¼Ò¶¼, ³ª±Í¶¼»Ó ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ±× ¼º ¾È¿¡³ª µé¿¡ ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀ» ¸ðÁ¶¸® »©¾Ñ¾Æ °¡Á³´Ù.
  4. ¸ðµç Àç»êÀ» »©¾Ñ°í Àڽİú ¾Æ³«³×µéÀ» »ç·ÎÀâ°í ÁýÀ̶ó´Â ÁýÀº ´Ù Åоú´Ù.
  5. ±×·¯ÀÚ ¾ß°öÀº ½Ã¹Ç¿Â°ú ·¹À§¸¦ ºÒ·¯ ³ª¹«¶ú´Ù. "³ÊÈñ ¶§¹®¿¡ ³ª´Â ÀÌ Áö¹æ¿¡ »ç´Â °¡³ª¾È »ç¶÷°ú ºê¸®ÁîÀε鿡°Ô »óÁ¾ÇÒ ¼ö ¾ø´Â ÃßÇÑ Àΰ£ÀÌ µÇ°í ¸»¾Ò´Ù. ¿ì¸®´Â ¼ö°¡ ¾ó¸¶ µÇÁö ¾Ê´Âµ¥ ±×µéÀÌ ÇÕ¼¼ÇÏ¿© ³ª¸¦ Ä¡¸é ³ª¿Í ³» °¡Á·Àº ¸ô»ì´çÇÒ ¼ö¹Û¿¡ ¾ø´Ù."
  1. They put Hamor and his son Shechem to the sword and took Dinah from Shechem's house and left.
  2. The sons of Jacob came upon the dead bodies and looted the city where their sister had been defiled.
  3. They seized their flocks and herds and donkeys and everything else of theirs in the city and out in the fields.
  4. They carried off all their wealth and all their women and children, taking as plunder everything in the houses.
  5. Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, "You have brought trouble on me by making me a stench to the Canaanites and Perizzites, the people living in this land. We are few in number, and if they join forces against me and attack me, I and my household will be destroyed."

  1. ÇÏ´À´Ô²²¼­ ¾ß°ö¿¡°Ô ¸»¾¸Çϼ̴Ù. "ÀÌ·¯°í ÀÖÁö ¸»°í º£µ¨¿¡ ¿Ã¶ó°¡ °Å±â¿¡ ÀÚ¸®¸¦ Àâ¾Æ¶ó. ³×°¡ Çü ¿¡»ç¿À¸¦ ÇÇÇØ °¥ ¶§ ³Ê¿¡°Ô ³ªÅ¸³µ´ø ÀÌ ÇÏ´À´Ô¿¡°Ô Á¦´ÜÀ» ½×¾Æ ¹ÙÃĶó."
  2. ¾ß°öÀº °ð ±×ÀÇ ¿Â °¡Á·°ú ±×°¡ °Å´À¸®°í ÀÖ´Â ¸ðµç »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ¸»ÇÏ¿´´Ù. "³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ÀÖ´Â ³²ÀÇ ³ª¶ó ½ÅµéÀ» ³»¹ö·Á¶ó. ±ú²ýÀÌ ¸öÀ» ¾Ä°í ¿ÊÀ» °¥¾ÆÀÔ¾î¶ó.
  3. ÀÌÁ¦ ¿ì¸®´Â ¿©±â¸¦ ¶°³ª º£µ¨·Î ¿Ã¶ó°£´Ù. °Å±â¿¡¼­ ³ª´Â ³»°¡ ¾î·Á¿òÀ» ´çÇÒ ¶§ ³ªÀÇ È£¼Ò¸¦ µé¾îÁÖ½Ã°í ³»°¡ °¡´Â °÷ ¾îµð¿¡¼­³ª º¸»ìÆì ÁֽŠÇÏ´À´Ô²² Á¦´ÜÀ» ½×¾Æ ¹ÙÄ¡°íÀÚ ÇÑ´Ù."
  4. ±×µéÀº ÀÚ±âµé¿¡°Ô ÀÖ´Â ³²ÀÇ ³ª¶ó ½Åµé°ú ±Í¿¡ °É°í ÀÖ´ø ±Í°í¸®¸¦ ¸ðµÎ ¾ß°ö¿¡°Ô ³»³õ¾Ò´Ù. ¾ß°öÀº ¼¼°× ±Ùó ´ÀƼ³ª¹« ¹Ø¿¡ ±×°ÍµéÀ» ¸ðµÎ ¹¯¾ú´Ù.
  5. ±×¸®°í ±×µéÀº ±× ±æ·Î ¶°³µ´Ù. ±×·¯³ª ½ÅºñÇÑ µÎ·Á¿òÀÌ ÁÖÀ§¿¡ ÀÖ´Â µµ½ÃµéÀ» ÈÖ¾îÀâ¾Æ¼­ ¾Æ¹«µµ ¾ß°öÀÇ ÀÚ¼ÕµéÀ» Ãß°ÝÇÏÁö ¸øÇß´Ù.
  1. Then God said to Jacob, "Go up to Bethel and settle there, and build an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you were fleeing from your brother Esau."
  2. So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes.
  3. Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone."
  4. So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods they had and the rings in their ears, and Jacob buried them under the oak at Shechem.
  5. Then they set out, and the terror of God fell upon the towns all around them so that no one pursued them.

  1. Jacob and all the people with him came to Luz (that is, Bethel) in the land of Canaan.
  2. There he built an altar, and he called the place El Bethel, because it was there that God revealed himself to him when he was fleeing from his brother.

  3. ÇÏ´À´Ô²²¼­´Â ÀÌ·¸°Ô ¾ß°ö¿¡°Ô ¸»¾¸ÇÏ½Ã°í ±×¸¦ ¶°³ª ¿Ã¶ó°¡¼Ì´Ù.
  4. ¾ß°öÀº ÇÏ´À´Ô²²¼­ ÀÚ±â¿Í ¸»¾¸À» ³ª´©½Ã´ø ±× °÷¿¡´Ù ¼®»óÀ» ¼¼¿ü´Ù. ±×´Â ±× µ¹±âµÕ À§¿¡ ¼úÀ» º×°í ¶Ç ±â¸§À» ºÎ¾ú´Ù.
  5. ¾ß°öÀº ÇÏ´À´Ô²²¼­ ÀÚ±â¿Í ¸»¾¸À» ³ª´©½Ã´ø ±× °÷À» º£µ¨À̶ó À̸§ÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  1. And God said to him, "I am God Almighty ; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will come from your body.
  2. The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you."
  3. Then God went up from him at the place where he had talked with him.
  4. Jacob set up a stone pillar at the place where God had talked with him, and he poured out a drink offering on it; he also poured oil on it.
  5. Jacob called the place where God had talked with him Bethel.

  4. ¶óÇïÀº ¿¡ºê¶ùÀ¸·Î °¡´Â ±æ°¡¿¡ ¹¯Çû´Ù. ¿¡ºê¶ùÀº °ð º£µé·¹ÇðÀÌ´Ù.
  5. ¾ß°öÀº ¶óÇïÀÇ ¹«´ý À§¿¡ ºñ¼®À» ¼¼¿ü´Ù. ±×°ÍÀÌ ÀÌ ³¯±îÁö ¶óÇïÀÇ ¹¦ºñ·Î ¾Ë·ÁÁ® ÀÖ´Ù.
  1. Then they moved on from Bethel. While they were still some distance from Ephrath, Rachel began to give birth and had great difficulty.
  2. And as she was having great difficulty in childbirth, the midwife said to her, "Don't be afraid, for you have another son."
  3. As she breathed her last--for she was dying--she named her son Ben-Oni. But his father named him Benjamin.
  4. So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).
  5. Over her tomb Jacob set up a pillar, and to this day that pillar marks Rachel's tomb.

  1. Israel moved on again and pitched his tent beyond Migdal Eder.
  2. While Israel was living in that region, Reuben went in and slept with his father's concubine Bilhah, and Israel heard of it. Jacob had twelve sons:

  4. The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.
  5. The sons of Rachel's maidservant Bilhah: Dan and Naphtali.

  4. ÀÌ»ç¾ÇÀÌ ÀÌ·¸°Ô ¸íÀÌ ´ÙÇÏ¿© ¼ûÀ» °ÅµÎ°í Á×¾î ¼¼»óÀ» ¶°³ª ¼±Á¶µé °çÀ¸·Î °¡ÀÚ, ¾Æµé ¿¡»ç¿À¿Í ¾ß°öÀÌ ±×¸¦ ¾ÈÀåÇÏ¿´´Ù.
  1. The sons of Leah's maidservant Zilpah: Gad and Asher. These were the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan Aram.
  2. Jacob came home to his father Isaac in Mamre, near Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had stayed.
  3. Isaac lived a hundred and eighty years.
