마가복음 1:29-2:12

 예수님께서는 병을 고치는 기적을 행하셨다. 치유에 앞서 죄 사함을 선포하심으로써 하나님과 동등한 권세를 지니신 분이심을 드러내셨다. 그러나 이는 유대 지도자들의 비난의 근거가 되었다.
  
  병자를 고치심(1:29-2:12)    
 
  1. 얼마 뒤에 예수께서 회당에서 나와 야고보와 요한과 함께 시몬과 안드레아의 집에 들어가셨다.
  2. 때마침 시몬의 장모가 열병으로 누워 있었는데 사람들이 그 사정을 예수께 알렸다.
  3. 예수께서 그 부인 곁으로 가서 손을 잡아 일으키시자 열이 내리고 부인은 그들의 시중을 들었다.
  4. 해가 지고 날이 저물었을 때에 사람들이 병자와 마귀 들린 사람들을 모두 예수께 데려왔으며
  5. 온 동네 사람들이 문 앞에 모여들었다.
  1. As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
  2. Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
  3. So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
  4. That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
  5. The whole town gathered at the door,
  1. 예수께서는 온갖 병자들을 고쳐주시고 많은 마귀를 쫓아내시며 자기 일을 입 밖에 내지 말라고 당부하셨다. 마귀들은 예수가 누구신지를 알고 있었기 때문이다.
  2. 다음날 새벽 예수께서는 먼동이 트기 전에 일어나 외딴 곳으로 가시어 기도하고 계셨다.
  3. 그 때 시몬의 일행이 예수를 찾아다니다가
  4. 만나서 "모두들 선생님을 찾고 있습니다." 하고 말하였다.
  5. 예수께서는 그들에게 "이 근방 다음 동네에도 가자. 거기에서도 전도해야 한다. 나는 이 일을 하러 왔다." 하고 말씀하셨다.
  1. and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
  2. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
  3. Simon and his companions went to look for him,
  4. and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!"
  5. Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come."
  1. 이렇게 갈릴래아 지방을 두루 찾아 여러 회당에서 전도하시며 마귀를 쫓아내셨다.
  2. 나병환자 하나가 예수께 와서 무릎을 꿇고 애원하며 "선생님은 하고자만 하시면 저를 깨끗이 고쳐주실 수 있습니다." 하고 말씀 드렸다.
  3. 예수께서 측은한 마음이 드시어 그에게 손을 갖다 대시며 "그렇게 해주겠다. 깨끗하게 되어라." 하시자
  4. 그는 곧 나병 증세가 사라지면서 깨끗이 나았다.
  5. 예수께서 곧 그를 보내시면서
  1. So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
  2. A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean."
  3. Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"
  4. Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
  5. Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
  1. "아무에게도 말하지 말고 다만 사제에게 가서 네 몸을 보이고 모세가 명한 대로 예물을 드려 네가 깨끗해진 것을 그들에게 증명하여라." 하고 엄하게 이르셨다.
  2. 그러나 그는 물러가서 이 일을 널리 선전하며 퍼뜨렸기 때문에 그 때부터 예수께서는 드러나게 동네로 들어가지 못하시고 동네에서 떨어진 외딴 곳에 머물러 계셨다. 그래도 사람들은 사방에서 예수께 모여들었다.
  1. "See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them."
  2. Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.
 
 
  1. 며칠 뒤에 예수께서는 다시 가파르나움으로 가셨다. 예수께서 집에 계시다는 말이 퍼지자
  2. 많은 사람이 모여들어 마침내 문 앞에까지 빈틈없이 들어섰다. 그리고 예수께서는 그들에게 하느님의 말씀을 전하고 계셨다.
  3. 그 때 어떤 중풍병자를 네 사람이 들고 왔다.
  4. 그러나 사람들이 너무 많아 예수께 가까이 데려갈 수가 없었다. 그래서 예수가 계신 바로 위의 지붕을 벗겨 구멍을 내고 중풍병자를 요에 눕힌 채 예수 앞에 달아 내려보냈다.
  5. 예수께서는 그들의 믿음을 보시고 중풍병자에게 "너는 죄를 용서받았다." 하고 말씀하셨다.
  1. A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home.
  2. So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them.
  3. Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them.
  4. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on.
  5. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
  1. 거기 앉아 있던 율법학자 몇 사람이 속으로
  2. "이 사람이 어떻게 감히 이런 말을 하여 하느님을 모독하는가? 하느님말고 누가 죄를 용서할 수 있단 말인가?" 하며 중얼거렸다.
  3. 예수께서 그들의 생각을 알아채시고 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "어찌하여 너희는 그런 생각을 품고 있느냐?
  4. 중풍병자에게 '너는 죄를 용서받았다.' 하는 것과 '일어나 네 요를 걷어가지고 걸어가거라.' 하는 것과 어느 편이 더 쉽겠느냐?
  5. 이제 땅에서 죄를 용서하는 권한이 사람의 아들에게 있다는 것을 보여주겠다." 그리고 나서 중풍병자에게
  1. Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves,
  2. "Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
  3. Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, "Why are you thinking these things?
  4. Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, take your mat and walk'?
  5. But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins . . . ." He said to the paralytic,
  1. "내가 말하는 대로 하여라. 일어나 요를 걷어가지고 집으로 가거라." 하고 말씀하셨다.
  2. 중풍병자는 사람들이 보는 앞에서 벌떡 일어나 곧 요를 걷어가지고 나갔다. 그러자 모두들 몹시 놀라서 "이런 일은 정말 처음 보는 일이다." 하며 하느님을 찬양하였다.
  1. "I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home."
  2. He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this!"
