레위기 24:1-25:34

 하나님께서는 모세에게 등불과 진설병에 관한 규례, 안식년과 희년에 관한 규례를 지시하셨다. 하나님의 이름을 훼방하고 저주한 슬로밋의 아들은 하나님의 명령에 따라 이스라엘 백성들이 던지는 돌에 맞아 죽었다.
  
  야웨 모독죄(24:1-24:23)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 지시하여, 찧어서 짠 많은 올리브 기름을 등유로 가져오도록 하여 늘 등불을 켜두게 하여라.
  3. 아론으로 하여금 등불을 켜서 만남의 장막 안 증거궤 앞 휘장 밖에 두어 저녁부터 아침까지 계속하여 야훼 앞을 비추게 하여라. 이것은 너희가 대대로 길이 지킬 규정이다.
  4. 아론은 늘 그 등불을 야훼 앞에 있는 순금등잔대 위에 밝혀놓아야 한다.
  5. 너는 고운 밀가루를 가져다가, 한 개에 십분의 이 에바를 들여 빵 열두 개를 구워서
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually.
  3. Outside the curtain of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before the LORD from evening till morning, continually. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.
  4. The lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the LORD must be tended continually.
  5. "Take fine flour and bake twelve loaves of bread, using two-tenths of an ephah for each loaf.
  1. 여섯 개씩 두 줄로 야훼 앞 순금 제사 상 위에 차려놓아라.
  2. 그 한 줄 한 줄 위에 순전한 향을 올려놓아야 한다. 그것이 불에 타면서 정성의 표시로 야훼께 올리는 제물이 된다.
  3. 안식일이 돌아올 때 야훼 앞에 항상 그것을 차려놓아야 한다. 이는 이스라엘 백성이 영원한 계약으로 삼아야 한다.
  4. 그것은 아론과 그의 아들들에게 돌아가는 몫인데 야훼께 살라 바치는 음식 가운데서도 더없이 거룩한 것이므로 거룩한 곳에서 먹어야 한다. 이것은 길이 지킬 규정이다."
  5. 이스라엘 여인이 이집트 남자와의 사이에 낳은 사람이 있었는데, 그는 이스라엘 백성과 함께 나왔었다. 하루는 그 이스라엘 여인의 아들이 다른 이스라엘 사람과 진지에서 시비를 벌였다.
  1. Set them in two rows, six in each row, on the table of pure gold before the LORD.
  2. Along each row put some pure incense as a memorial portion to represent the bread and to be an offering made to the LORD by fire.
  3. This bread is to be set out before the LORD regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath, on behalf of the Israelites, as a lasting covenant.
  4. It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place, because it is a most holy part of their regular share of the offerings made to the LORD by fire."
  5. Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father went out among the Israelites, and a fight broke out in the camp between him and an Israelite.
  1. 그런데 그 이스라엘 여인의 아들이 야훼의 이름을 모욕하며 악담하였다. 그래서 사람들이 그를 모세에게 끌고 갔다. 그 어미의 이름은 슬로밋이었는데 단 지파에 속한 디브리의 딸이었다.
  2. 사람들이 그를 가두어놓고 야훼의 입에서 판결이 내리기를 기다리는데
  3. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  4. "이 악담한 자를 진지 밖으로 끌어내다 놓고 그가 악담하는 것을 들은 사람이 모두 그 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음 온 회중이 돌로 쳐죽여라.
  5. 너는 이스라엘 백성에게 일러라. '누구든지 자기 하느님에게 악담한 자는 그 죄를 면치 못한다.
  1. The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name with a curse; so they brought him to Moses. (His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri the Danite.)
  2. They put him in custody until the will of the LORD should be made clear to them.
  3. Then the LORD said to Moses:
  4. "Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him.
  5. Say to the Israelites: 'If anyone curses his God, he will be held responsible;
  1. 야훼의 이름을 모욕한 자는 반드시 사형시켜야 한다. 온 회중이 그를 돌로 쳐죽여야 한다. 내 이름을 모욕한 자는 외국인이든지 본국인이든지 사형에 처해야 한다.
  2. 남의 목숨을 끊은 자는 반드시 사형에 처해야 한다.
  3. 짐승의 목숨을 끊은 자는 산 짐승으로 보상하여야 한다.
  4. 누구든지 같은 동족에게 상처를 입힌 자에게는 같은 상처를 입혀주어라.
  5. 사지를 꺾은 것은 사지를 꺾는 것으로, 눈은 눈으로, 이는 이로, 이렇게 남에게 상처를 입힌 만큼 자신도 상처를 입어야 한다.
  1. anyone who blasphemes the name of the LORD must be put to death. The entire assembly must stone him. Whether an alien or native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, he must be put to death.
  2. " 'If anyone takes the life of a human being, he must be put to death.
  3. Anyone who takes the life of someone's animal must make restitution--life for life.
  4. If anyone injures his neighbor, whatever he has done must be done to him:
  5. fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he has injured the other, so he is to be injured.
  1. 남의 짐승을 죽인 자는 물어주어야 하고, 살인한 자는 사형에 처해야 한다.
  2. 외국인이든 본국인이든 한 법이 있을 따름이다. 나 야훼가 너희 하느님이기 때문이다.'"
  3. 모세가 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 전하자 그들은 그 악담한 사람을 진지 밖으로 끌어내어 돌로 쳐죽였다. 이렇게 이스라엘 백성은 야훼께서 모세에게 지시하신 대로 하였다.
  1. Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a man must be put to death.
  2. You are to have the same law for the alien and the native-born. I am the LORD your God.' "
  3. Then Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they took the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him. The Israelites did as the LORD commanded Moses.
 
  안식년과 희년(25:1-25:34)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 시나이 산에서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '너희는 내가 주는 땅으로 들어가서 야훼의 안식년이 되거든 그 땅을 묵혀라.
  3. 너희는 육 년 동안 밭에 씨를 뿌리고 육 년 동안 포도 순을 쳐, 그 소출을 거두어라.
  4. 칠 년째 되는 해는 야훼의 안식년이므로 그 땅을 아주 묵혀 밭에 씨를 뿌리지 말고, 포도 순을 치지도 마라.
  5. 너희가 거둘 때 떨어진 데서 절로 자란 것을 거두지 말고, 순을 치지 않고 내버려둔 덩굴에 절로 열린 포도송이를 따지 말며 땅을 완전히 묵혀야 한다.
  1. The LORD said to Moses on Mount Sinai,
  2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the LORD.
  3. For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops.
  4. But in the seventh year the land is to have a sabbath of rest, a sabbath to the LORD. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.
  5. Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.
  1. 너희 땅을 묵히는 것은 너희 뿐 아니라 너희 집에 머무는 너희 남종과 여종과 품꾼과 식객까지 모두 먹여 살리기 위한 것이다.
  2. 그러면 너희 가축과 너희 땅에 사는 짐승도 땅에서 나는 온갖 소출을 먹고 살 수 있을 것이다.
  3. 너희는 또 일곱 해를 일곱 번 해서, 안식년을 일곱 번 세어라. 이렇게 안식년을 일곱 번 맞아 사십구 년이 지나서
  4. 일곱째 달이 되거든 그 달 십일에 나팔 소리를 크게 울려라. 죄 벗는 이 날 너희는 나팔을 불어 온 땅에 울려 퍼지게 하여라.
  5. 오십 년이 되는 이 해를 너희는 거룩한 해로 정하고 너희 땅에 사는 모든 사람에게 해방을 선포하여라. 이 해는 너희가 희년으로 지킬 해이다. 저마다 제 소유지를 찾아 자기 지파에게로 돌아가야 한다.
  1. Whatever the land yields during the sabbath year will be food for you--for yourself, your manservant and maidservant, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you,
  2. as well as for your livestock and the wild animals in your land. Whatever the land produces may be eaten.
  3. " 'Count off seven sabbaths of years--seven times seven years--so that the seven sabbaths of years amount to a period of forty-nine years.
  4. Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land.
  5. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each one of you is to return to his family property and each to his own clan.
  1. 오십 년이 되는 해는 너희가 희년으로 지낼 해이니, 씨를 심지도 말고 절로 자란 것을 거두지도 말며 순을 치지 않고 내버려두었는데 절로 열린 포도송이를 따지도 마라.
  2. 이 해가 희년이니, 이 해를 거룩하게 지내야 한다. 너희는 밭에서 난 소출을 먹고 지낼 수 있을 것이다.
  3. 이 희년에 너희는 저마다 자기 소유지로 돌아가야 한다.
  4. 네가 동족에게 무엇을 팔거나 동족에게서 무엇을 사는 경우에, 이웃끼리 서로 억울하게 하지 마라.
  5. 너는 동족에게서 사들일 때에 희년이 몇 해가 지났는지 따져보아라. 파는 사람은 소출을 거둘 햇수를 따져서 값을 매겨라.
  1. The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines.
  2. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields.
  3. " 'In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to his own property.
  4. " 'If you sell land to one of your countrymen or buy any from him, do not take advantage of each other.
  5. You are to buy from your countryman on the basis of the number of years since the Jubilee. And he is to sell to you on the basis of the number of years left for harvesting crops.
  1. 소출을 거둘 햇수를 따라 사고 팔아야 하기 때문에 그 햇수가 많으면 값을 많이 치르고, 햇수가 적으면 값을 적게 치러야 한다.
  2. 너희는 동족끼리 서로 억울하게 하지 마라. 너희는 하느님 두려운 줄을 알아야 한다. 나 야훼가 너희의 하느님이다.
  3. 너희는 내가 정해 주는 규정을 실천하고 내가 세워주는 법을 지켜 그대로 해야 한다. 그러면 그 땅에서 안심하고 살 수 있으리라.
  4. 그 땅에서 나는 열매를 양껏 먹으며 그 땅에서 안심하고 살 수 있으리라.
  5. 너희는 혹, 칠 년째 되는 해에는 씨를 심지도 말고 소출을 거두지도 말라면 무엇을 먹을 것인가 걱정이 될 것이다.
  1. When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price, because what he is really selling you is the number of crops.
  2. Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the LORD your God.
  3. " 'Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land.
  4. Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live there in safety.
  5. You may ask, "What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or harvest our crops?"
  1. 그러나 육 년째 되는 해에 나의 말 한마디로 너희에게 충분한 복을 내려 삼 년 먹을 소출이 나게 하리라.
  2. 그래서 씨를 다시 뿌리는 팔 년째 되는 해에는 묵은 곡식을 먹게 되리라. 구 년째 되는 해의 소출이 날 때까지 묵은 것을 먹게 되리라.
  3. 땅은 아주 팔아 넘기는 것이 아니다. 땅은 내 것이요, 너희는 나에게 몸붙여 사는 식객에 불과하다.
  4. 너희가 소유하는 땅 어디에서나 제 땅은 다시 되돌려 살 수 있어야 한다.
  5. 네 동족 가운데서 누가 옹색하여 제 소유를 팔았을 경우에는 그와 가장 가까운 친척이 와서 그가 판 것을 되돌려 살 수 있다.
  1. I will send you such a blessing in the sixth year that the land will yield enough for three years.
  2. While you plant during the eighth year, you will eat from the old crop and will continue to eat from it until the harvest of the ninth year comes in.
  3. " 'The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you are but aliens and my tenants.
  4. Throughout the country that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption of the land.
  5. " 'If one of your countrymen becomes poor and sells some of his property, his nearest relative is to come and redeem what his countryman has sold.
  1. 그것을 되돌려 살 친척이 없을 경우에, 그가 나중에 스스로 힘이 생겨 되돌려 살 길이 트이면,
  2. 판 다음에 지나간 햇수에 해당하는 값을 빼고, 나머지를 그 땅을 산 사람에게 물어주어야 한다. 그리고 나서 그는 자기 소유지로 돌아갈 수 있다.
  3. 그러나 되돌려 살 만한 돈이 손에 들어오지 않으면 그가 판 것은 희년이 오기까지 그것을 산 사람의 손에 남아 있게 된다. 그랬다가 희년이 되어 해약이 되면 그는 제 소유지로 돌아갈 수가 있다.
  4. 누가 성곽 도시에 있는 주택을 판 경우에, 판 지 한 해가 지나면 무를 권리가 없다. 무를 수 있는 유효 기한은 일 년이다.
  5. 한 해가 다 지나가기까지 무르지 않으면 성곽 도시에 있는 그 집은 아주 산 사람의 것이 되어 버린다. 희년이 되어도 해약은 되지 않는다.
  1. If, however, a man has no one to redeem it for him but he himself prospers and acquires sufficient means to redeem it,
  2. he is to determine the value for the years since he sold it and refund the balance to the man to whom he sold it; he can then go back to his own property.
  3. But if he does not acquire the means to repay him, what he sold will remain in the possession of the buyer until the Year of Jubilee. It will be returned in the Jubilee, and he can then go back to his property.
  4. " 'If a man sells a house in a walled city, he retains the right of redemption a full year after its sale. During that time he may redeem it.
  5. If it is not redeemed before a full year has passed, the house in the walled city shall belong permanently to the buyer and his descendants. It is not to be returned in the Jubilee.
  1. 성 밖에 있는 시골집은 들에 있는 것으로 쳐서 무를 권리가 있다. 희년이 되면 해약이 된다.
  2. 레위인들의 마을에서는 자기들이 차지한 마을 집들을 언제든지 팔았다가 무를 권리가 레위인들에게 있다.
  3. 레위인이 자기가 살던 마을 집을 팔고 무르지 않더라도 희년이 되면 그 매매가 무효가 된다. 레위인들의 마을 집들은 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 그들이 차지한 영원한 소유이기 때문이다.
  4. 그들의 마을에 딸린 목장도 그들의 영구 소유지로서, 사고 팔 수 있는 것이 아니다.
  1. But houses in villages without walls around them are to be considered as open country. They can be redeemed, and they are to be returned in the Jubilee.
  2. " 'The Levites always have the right to redeem their houses in the Levitical towns, which they possess.
  3. So the property of the Levites is redeemable--that is, a house sold in any town they hold--and is to be returned in the Jubilee, because the houses in the towns of the Levites are their property among the Israelites.
  4. But the pastureland belonging to their towns must not be sold; it is their permanent possession.
