민수기 4:34-5:31

 이스라엘 진은 하나님의 임재와 인도를 방해하는 요소들을 제거해야 했다. 문둥병자와 유출병자, 시체에 접촉하여 일시적으로 부정하게 된 자들이 진 밖으로 추방되었고, 죄지은 자들은 죄값을 치루어야 했다. 가정 파괴를 방지하기 위해, 남편이 아내의 간음을 의심할 경우 제사장은 저주가 되는 쓴 물을 사용하여 아내의 간음 여부를 판단하였다.
  
  성결 규례(4:34-5:31)    
 
  1. 모세와 아론은 회중의 대표들을 거느리고 크핫 후손을 그 갈래와 가문별로 등록시켰다.
  2. 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 군대에 나갈 수 있는 사람을 모두 등록시켜 만남의 장막에서 일하게 하였다.
  3. 그들을 갈래별로 등록시키고 보니 모두 이천칠백오십 명이었다.
  4. 이들이 모두 만남의 장막에서 봉사할 사람으로 크핫 각 갈래에서 등록된 사람들이다. 모세와 아론은 야훼께서 모세를 시켜 말씀하신 대로 이렇게 그들을 등록시켰다.
  5. 게르손의 후손들로서
  1. Moses, Aaron and the leaders of the community counted the Kohathites by their clans and families.
  2. All the men from thirty to fifty years of age who came to serve in the work in the Tent of Meeting,
  3. counted by clans, were 2,750.
  4. This was the total of all those in the Kohathite clans who served in the Tent of Meeting. Moses and Aaron counted them according to the LORD's command through Moses.
  5. The Gershonites were counted by their clans and families.
  1. 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 군대에 나갈 수 있는 사람은 그 갈래와 가문별로 모두 등록시켜 만남의 장막에서 일하게 하였다.
  2. 이렇게 각 갈래와 가문별로 등록된 사람은 이천육백삼십 명이었다.
  3. 이들은 모두 게르손 후손의 갈래들로서 만남의 장막에서 일을 맡아 보게 되었다. 모세와 아론은 야훼의 말씀에 따라 그들을 등록시켰다.
  4. 므라리 후손의 갈래로서
  5. 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 군대에 나갈 수 있는 사람은 각 갈래와 가문별로 모두 등록시켜 만남의 장막에서 일하게 하였다.
  1. All the men from thirty to fifty years of age who came to serve in the work at the Tent of Meeting,
  2. counted by their clans and families, were 2,630.
  3. This was the total of those in the Gershonite clans who served at the Tent of Meeting. Moses and Aaron counted them according to the LORD's command.
  4. The Merarites were counted by their clans and families.
  5. All the men from thirty to fifty years of age who came to serve in the work at the Tent of Meeting,
  1. 이렇게 각 갈래별로 등록된 수가 삼천이백 명이었다.
  2. 므라리 후손의 갈래에서 등록된 자는 위와 같다. 모세와 아론은 야훼께서 모세를 시켜 말씀하신 대로 그들을 등록시켰다.
  3. 모세와 아론은 이스라엘의 대표들을 거느리고 레위인들을 그 각 갈래와 가문별로 모두 등록시켰는데, 그 등록된 사람은
  4. 서른 살에서 쉰 살까지 봉사와 직책을 감당하러 나갈 수 있는 사람으로서 만남의 장막에서 짐을 운반할 사람들이었다.
  5. 이렇게 등록된 사람이 팔천오백팔십 명이었다.
  1. counted by their clans, were 3,200.
  2. This was the total of those in the Merarite clans. Moses and Aaron counted them according to the LORD's command through Moses.
  3. So Moses, Aaron and the leaders of Israel counted all the Levites by their clans and families.
  4. All the men from thirty to fifty years of age who came to do the work of serving and carrying the Tent of Meeting
  5. numbered 8,580.
  1. 그들은 야훼께서 모세를 시켜 말씀하신 대로 그들 각자에게 할 일과 운반할 짐을 맡겼다. 이렇게 모세는 야훼께서 지시하신 대로 그들을 등록시켰다.
  1. At the LORD's command through Moses, each was assigned his work and told what to carry. Thus they were counted, as the LORD commanded Moses.
 
 
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게, 모든 문둥병 환자와 고름이 흘러 나오는 사람과 시체에 닿아 부정탄 사람은 진지에서 내보내야 한다고 지시하여라.
  3. 너희는 남녀 불문하고 그런 사람은 모두 진지 밖으로 내보내야 한다. 내가 함께 머무는 진지이니, 부정타지 않게 해야 한다."
  4. 이스라엘 백성들은 그 말씀대로 그런 사람들을 진지 밖으로 내보냈다. 이스라엘 백성들은 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하신 대로 하였다.
  5. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  1. The LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Command the Israelites to send away from the camp anyone who has an infectious skin disease or a discharge of any kind, or who is ceremonially unclean because of a dead body.
  3. Send away male and female alike; send them outside the camp so they will not defile their camp, where I dwell among them."
  4. The Israelites did this; they sent them outside the camp. They did just as the LORD had instructed Moses.
  5. The LORD said to Moses,
  1. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 일러라. 남녀 불문하고 남에게 손해를 입혀 야훼를 배신하는 죄를 지으면 그 죄벌을 면할 수 없다.
  2. 그런 사람은 자기가 저지른 잘못을 고백하고, 손해를 입은 사람에게 본전에다 오분의 일을 더 얹어 갚아주어야 한다.
  3. 그러나 그 피해자에게 대신 손해 배상을 받을 근친이 없으면, 그 손해 배상은 야훼께 돌아가 사제의 몫이 된다. 죄 벗는 숫양을 바쳐 죄 벗는 예식을 올리는 것만으로는 안 된다.
  4. 이스라엘 백성이 바치는 거룩한 예물 가운데 흔들어 바치는 것은 모두 사제의 몫이다.
  5. 누구든지 거룩한 예물로 바친 것은 그의 것이 되지만, 그 가운데서 사제에게 드린 것은 사제의 것이 된다."
  1. "Say to the Israelites: 'When a man or woman wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the LORD, that person is guilty
  2. and must confess the sin he has committed. He must make full restitution for his wrong, add one fifth to it and give it all to the person he has wronged.
  3. But if that person has no close relative to whom restitution can be made for the wrong, the restitution belongs to the LORD and must be given to the priest, along with the ram with which atonement is made for him.
  4. All the sacred contributions the Israelites bring to a priest will belong to him.
  5. Each man's sacred gifts are his own, but what he gives to the priest will belong to the priest.' "
  1. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 일러라. 네가 그들에게 전할 말은 이렇다. 누구든지 아내가 자기를 배신하고
  3. 자기 몰래 외간남자와 잠자리를 같이하여 몸을 더럽히고 숨기고 있는데도 아무 증인이 없고, 또 현장에서 붙들리지도 않았을 경우
  4. 남편이 자기 아내가 몸을 더럽혔으므로 질투심에 사로잡혀 아내를 질투하게 되거나, 아내가 몸을 더럽히지 않았는데도 질투심에 사로잡혀 아내를 질투하게 되면,
  5. 그 남편은 자기 아내를 사제에게 데리고 가서 아내를 위하여 보릿가루 십분의 일 에바를 예물로 드려야 한다. 그것은 질투 때문에 바치는 곡식예물이요, 죄를 생각하여 고백하게 하는 곡식예물이므로 그 위에 기름을 따르거나 향을 얹어서는 안 된다.
  1. Then the LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'If a man's wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him
  3. by sleeping with another man, and this is hidden from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act),
  4. and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure--or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure-
  5. then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder offering to draw attention to guilt.
  1. 사제는 그 여인을 가까이 오게 하여 야훼 앞에 세워라.
  2. 그리고 거룩한 물을 오지그릇에 떠놓고 성막 바닥에 있는 먼지를 긁어서 그 물에 탄 다음,
  3. 그 여인을 야훼 앞에 세운 채 머리를 풀게 하여라. 그리고 나서 질투 때문에 바치는 곡식예물, 곧 죄를 고백하게 하는 곡식예물을 여인의 두 손바닥에 들려주어라. 그리고 사제는 저주를 내려 고통을 주는 물을 손에 들고
  4. 여인에게 다음과 같이 말하며 맹세를 시켜라. '외간남자와 한자리에 든 일이 있느냐? 네가 유부녀로서 남편을 배신하고 몸을 더럽힌 일이 있느냐? 만일 그런 일이 없다면 저주를 내려 고통을 주는 이 물이 너를 해롭게 하지 못할 것이다.
  5. 너는 유부녀로서 남편을 배신하고 몸을 더럽힌 일이 있느냐? 외간남자와 한자리에 든 적이 있느냐?'
  1. " 'The priest shall bring her and have her stand before the LORD.
  2. Then he shall take some holy water in a clay jar and put some dust from the tabernacle floor into the water.
  3. After the priest has had the woman stand before the LORD, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse.
  4. Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, "If no other man has slept with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you.
  5. But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have defiled yourself by sleeping with a man other than your husband"-
  1. 그리고 사제는 그 여인에게, 저주를 받아도 좋다는 맹세를 하게 하고 나서 이렇게 일러라. '그렇다면 주께서 너의 겨레 가운데서 맹세하신 대로 너를 저주받는 본보기로 삼아 네 허벅지가 말라 비틀어지고 배가 부어오르게 하실 것이다.
  2. 저주를 내리는 이 물이 네 뱃속에 들어가면 배가 부어오르고 허벅지가 말라 비틀어질 것이다.' 여인이 '좋습니다, 좋습니다.' 하고 대답하면,
  3. 사제는 그 저주를 글로 써서 그 저주를 내리는 물에 씻어라. 그리고
  4. 그 저주를 내려 고통을 주는 물을 여인에게 주어 마시게 하면 저주를 내리는 물이 그의 뱃속에 들어가서 고통을 겪게 할 것이다.
  5. 사제는 그 여인의 손에서 질투 때문에 바치는 곡식예물을 받아, 주 앞에 흔들어 바치고 제단으로 가져가거라.
  1. here the priest is to put the woman under this curse of the oath-"may the LORD cause your people to curse and denounce you when he causes your thigh to waste away and your abdomen to swell.
  2. May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells and your thigh wastes away. " " 'Then the woman is to say, "Amen. So be it."
  3. " 'The priest is to write these curses on a scroll and then wash them off into the bitter water.
  4. He shall have the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and this water will enter her and cause bitter suffering.
  5. The priest is to take from her hands the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the LORD and bring it to the altar.
  1. 사제는 그 곡식예물을 바친다는 표시로 한 움큼 집어내어 제단에서 사르고 나서 그 물을 여인에게 주어 마시게 하여라.
  2. 그 물을 여인에게 마시게 하였을 때, 그 여인이 정말 몸을 더럽혀서 남편을 배신한 일이 있었다면, 그 저주를 내리는 물이 들어가면서 여인은 배가 부어오르고 허벅지가 말라 비틀어질 것이다. 그리하여 제 겨레 가운데서 저주를 받은 여인의 본보기가 되리라.
  3. 그러나 만일 그 여인이 몸을 더럽힌 일이 없어 깨끗하다면, 아무런 해를 입지 않고 자식을 낳을 수 있을 것이다.
  4. 이 법은 유부녀가 남편을 배신하여 몸을 더럽혀서 남편이 질투심을 일으켰을 경우와,
  5. 남편이 공연히 질투심이 생겨 아내를 질투할 경우에 적용하는 법이다. 남편이 아내를 야훼 앞에 내세우면 사제는 이 모든 법에 따라 그 여인을 다스려야 한다.
  1. The priest is then to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial offering and burn it on the altar; after that, he is to have the woman drink the water.
  2. If she has defiled herself and been unfaithful to her husband, then when she is made to drink the water that brings a curse, it will go into her and cause bitter suffering; her abdomen will swell and her thigh waste away, and she will become accursed among her people.
  3. If, however, the woman has not defiled herself and is free from impurity, she will be cleared of guilt and will be able to have children.
  4. " 'This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and defiles herself while married to her husband,
  5. or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the LORD and is to apply this entire law to her.
  1. 어쨌든 남편에게는 죄가 없고 아내에게 죄가 있으면 아내가 그 책임을 져야 한다."
  1. The husband will be innocent of any wrongdoing, but the woman will bear the consequences of her sin.' "
