미가 4:1-5:15

 미가는 이스라엘과 이방 민족 모두가 참여하는 영광과 평화의 메시아 왕국이 도래할 것을 예언하였다. 또한 그날에는 남은 자들이 포로에서 귀환하여 이스라엘이 회복되고 승리를 누리게 될 것이라고 예언하면서, 이스라엘에게 바벨론에서의 구원의 날을 기다리며 인내하라고 권면하였다. 그리고 미가는 메시아의 탄생과, 하나님의 왕국을 거룩하게 하실 그 분의 사역에 대해 예언하였다.
  
  메시아 왕국과 사역(4:1-5:15)    
 
  1. 뒷날, 야훼의 성전이 서 있는 산이 우뚝 솟아 언덕들을 굽어보게 되는 날, 높이 치솟아 멧부리들을 눈 아래 두는 날이 오면, 만민이 물밀듯 밀려오리라.
  2. 모든 민족이 몰려와 말하리라. "어서, 야훼의 산으로 올라가자! 야곱을 뽑으신 하느님의 성전으로! 거기서 어떤 길을 가리켜주시든 우리 모두 그 길을 따르자!" 그렇다. 야훼의 가르침은 시온에서 나온다. 야훼의 말씀은 예루살렘에서 들려온다.
  3. 하느님께서 민족 사이의 분쟁을 판가름해 주시고 강대국 사이의 시비를 가려주시리라. 그리 되면 나라마다 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들리라. 나라와 나라 사이에 칼을 빼어드는 일이 없어 다시는 군사를 훈련하지 아니하리라.
  4. 사람마다 제가 가꾼 포도나무 그늘, 무화과나무 아래 편히 앉아 쉬리라. -만군의 야훼께서 친히 하신 말씀이다.
  5. 어느 민족이나 저희 신의 이름을 부르며 살지 않느냐? 우리도 자손 만대에 우리 하느님의 이름 야훼를 부르며 살아가자.
  1. In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
  2. Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
  3. He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.
  4. Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.
  5. All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
  1. 그 날이 오면, 나는 절름발이들을 모아오리라. -야훼의 말씀이다. 흩어졌던 것들을 모아들이리라. 적잖이 고생을 시켰지만,
  2. 그 절름발이들, 비틀거리는 것들을 씨앗으로 남겨 강대국을 만들리라. 이제부터 영원토록 이 야훼가 시온 산에서 다스리리라.
  3. 양떼를 지키던 망대, 언덕에 자리잡은 수도 시온아, 네가 잃었던 주권을 도로 찾으리라. 수도 예루살렘의 국권을 되찾으리라.
  4. 너희가 어찌하여 지금 아우성이냐? 왕이 없어졌느냐? 자문관들이 죽었느냐? 왜 몸푸는 여인처럼 몸부림을 치느냐?
  5. 수도 시온아! 하기야 몸부림치며 신음해야지. 너희는 이제 정든 고장을 떠나 바빌론으로 끌려가 허허벌판에서 살게 되었다. 그러나 야훼께서 너희를 거기서 살려내시리라. 원수의 손에서 건져내시리라.
  1. "In that day," declares the LORD, "I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.
  2. I will make the lame a remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.
  3. As for you, O watchtower of the flock, O stronghold of the Daughter of Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to the Daughter of Jerusalem."
  4. Why do you now cry aloud-- have you no king? Has your counselor perished, that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?
  5. Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the LORD will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.
  1. 지금 많은 나라들이 너를 치러 몰려와서 "시온이 욕보는 모양을, 우리 눈으로 보자." 하지만,
  2. 야훼의 뜻을 어찌 알겠느냐? 타작 마당에 곡식을 모아 두들기려고 하시는 그 마음을 어찌 알겠느냐?
  3. 수도 시온아, 가을 타작을 시작하여라. 네 뿔을 쇠로 만들고 네 굽을 놋쇠로 만들어 뭇 민족을 박살나게 해주리라. 나는 백성이 거둔 전리품을 야훼께 바치렵니다. 그들의 재물을 온 세상의 주권자께 바치렵니다.
  4. 이제 너희는 몸에 상처를 내며 울부짖어라. 우리는 적에게 포위되었다. 이스라엘의 위정자들은 몽치로 얼굴을 얻어맞으리라.
  1. But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, "Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!"
  2. But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, he who gathers them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
  3. "Rise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hoofs of bronze and you will break to pieces many nations." You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
 
 
  1. 그러나 에브라다 지방 베들레헴아, 너는 비록 유다 부족들 가운데서 보잘것없으나 나 대신 이스라엘을 다스릴 자, 너에게서 난다. 그의 핏줄을 더듬으면, 까마득한 옛날로 올라간다.
  2. 그 여인이 아이를 낳기까지 야훼께서는 이스라엘을 내버려두시리라. 그런 다음 남은 겨레들이 이스라엘 자손들에게 돌아오면,
  3. 그가 백성의 목자로 나서리라. 야훼의 힘을 입고 그 하느님 야훼의 드높은 이름으로 목자 노릇을 하리니, 그의 힘이 땅 끝까지 미쳐
  4. 모두 그가 이룩한 평화를 누리며 살리라. 아시리아가 쳐들어와 이 땅을 짓밟을 때, 우리는 목자 일곱을 세워 맞서리라. 장군 여덟을 세워 맞서리라.
  5. 그들은 아시리아를 칼로 다스리리라. 칼을 빼어 들어 니므롯 땅을 다스리리라. 아시리아가 쳐들어와 우리 국토를 짓밟을 때, 야훼께서 우리를 아시리아의 손에서 살려내시리라.
  1. Marshal your troops, O city of troops, for a siege is laid against us. They will strike Israel's ruler on the cheek with a rod.
  2. "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. "
  3. Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor gives birth and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites.
  4. He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.
  5. And he will be their peace. When the Assyrian invades our land and marches through our fortresses, we will raise against him seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.
  1. 살아 남은 야곱의 후손은 뭇 백성 가운데 끼여 살며, 야훼께서 내리시는 이슬이 되리라. 푸성귀 위에 내리는 가랑비가 되리라. 누가 이래라 저래라 하기 전에, 사람이 뭐라고 하기를 기다리는 일 없이 내리는 비가 되리라.
  2. 한편, 살아 남은 야곱의 후손은 뭇 백성 가운데 끼여 살며 숲속 짐승들 틈에 나선 사자같이, 양떼 가운데 뛰어든 젊은 사자같이 이리저리 오가며 짓밟고 찢어 발기리니 그 손에서 아무도 빼내지 못하리라.
  3. 너희가 한번 손을 들어 원수를 치면, 적군은 하나도 살아 남지 못하리라.
  4. 그 날이 오면, -야훼의 말씀이다. 나는 너희가 타던 말을 모조리 죽이고 너희가 몰던 병거를 없애버리리라.
  5. 너희 나라 성읍들을 무너뜨리고 요새들을 다 허물어버리리라.
  1. They will rule the land of Assyria with the sword, the land of Nimrod with drawn sword. He will deliver us from the Assyrian when he invades our land and marches into our borders.
  2. The remnant of Jacob will be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for man or linger for mankind.
  3. The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which mauls and mangles as it goes, and no one can rescue.
  4. Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies, and all your foes will be destroyed.
  5. "In that day," declares the LORD, "I will destroy your horses from among you and demolish your chariots.
  1. 너희가 부리던 마술사들을 없애고 점쟁이들을 하나도 남기지 않으리라.
  2. 너희 가운데서 새겨 만든 우상과 석상을 치워 다시는 손으로 만든 것 앞에 절하지 못하게 하리라.
  3. 너희 가운데서 아세라 목상을 뽑아버리고 바알 석상을 부수어버리리라.
  4. 내 말을 거스르기만 하는 이 나라들, 화가 나고 노여움이 북받쳐 벌하고야 말리라.
  1. I will destroy the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds.
  2. I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.
  3. I will destroy your carved images and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands.
  4. I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles and demolish your cities.
  5. I will take vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations that have not obeyed me."
