- "너는 죄없다." 판결하소서. 당신의 눈은 결백한 사람을 알아보십니다.
- 내 마음을 샅샅이 뒤져보시고 밤새도록 심문하고 불에 달구어 걸러보셔도 무엇 하나 나쁜 것이 내 입에서 나왔사옵니까?
- 남들이야 무얼 하든지 이 몸은 당신의 말씀을 따라
- 그 험한 길을 꾸준히 걸었사옵니다. 가르쳐주신 길을 벗어난 적이 없사옵니다.

- Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
- Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
- Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
- Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
- Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
