레위기 9:1-10:20

 위임식을 마친 제 팔 일에 아론과 그 아들들은 첫 제사를 드렸다. 제사장들을 위하여 속죄제와 번제를 드렸고, 백성을 위한 제사로는 속죄제와 번제 외에 소제와 화목제도 드렸다. 하나님께서는 이에 영광으로 응답하셨다. 나답과 아비후는 다른 불로 분향하다가 하나님의 심판으로 죽임을 당하였다. 그 후 제사장의 금주 규례가 제정되었다
  
  아론의 첫 제사(9:1-9:24)    
 
  1. 팔 일째 되는 날 모세는 아론과 그의 아들들, 그리고 이스라엘의 장로들을 불러다 놓고,
  2. 아론에게 말하였다. "소떼 가운데서 속죄제물로 바칠 송아지 한 마리와, 또 번제물로 바칠 숫양 한 마리를 흠이 없는 것으로 골라 야훼 앞에 끌고 오시오.
  3. 그리고 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 이르시오. '너희가 속죄제물로 바칠 숫염소 한 마리와 번제물로 바칠 송아지와 일 년 된 어린 양을 흠이 없는 것으로 한 마리씩 끌고 오너라.
  4. 또 친교제물로 바칠 황소와 숫양을 끌어오고, 기름에 반죽하여 만든 곡식예물을 가져오너라. 야훼께서 오늘 너희에게 나타나실 것이다.'"
  5. 그들이 모세가 지시한 것들을 만남의 장막 앞으로 끌어오고, 온 회중이 모여 야훼 앞에 서자
  1. And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
  2. And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.
  3. And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;
  4. Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.
  5. And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.
  1. 모세는 이렇게 말하였다. "이것은 야훼께서 지시하신 일이다. 야훼의 영광이 너희에게 나타나실 것이다."
  2. 그리고 모세는 아론에게 일렀다. "제단으로 나가서 형과 형 집안의 죄를 벗도록 속죄제와 번제를 드리시오. 또 백성이 드리는 예물을 바쳐 그들의 죄를 벗겨주시오. 이것은 야훼께서 지시하신 것이오."
  3. 아론은 제단으로 나아가 자기의 죄를 벗겨줄 속죄제물인 송아지를 잡았다.
  4. 아론의 아들들이 그 피를 아론에게 바치자 아론은 손가락에 그 피를 찍어 제단 뿔들에 바르고 나머지 피는 제단 밑바닥에 쏟았다.
  5. 그리고 그는 속죄제물에서 떼어낸 기름기와 콩팥과 간에 붙어 있는 기름 덩어리를 제단에서 살랐다. 이렇게 그는 야훼께서 모세에게 지시하신 대로 하였다.
  1. And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
  2. And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.
  3. Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
  4. And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:
  5. But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. 그리고 살코기와 가죽을 진지 밖에서 불에 태워버렸다.
  2. 다음에 아론은 번제물을 죽였다. 그의 아들들이 그 피를 받아 아론에게 바치자 아론은 그것을 제단의 주변에 두루 뿌렸다.
  3. 또 그들이 번제물을 저며 머리와 함께 아론에게 드리자 아론은 그것을 제단에서 사르고
  4. 내장과 다리들을 씻어 번제물에 얹어놓고 제단에서 살랐다.
  5. 다음에 아론은 백성의 예물을 드렸다. 백성의 죄를 벗겨줄 속죄제물인 숫염소를 죽여, 먼저처럼 속죄제물로 바쳤다.
  1. And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.
  2. And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.
  3. And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.
  4. And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.
  5. And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.
  1. 그 다음 번제물도 끌어다가 규정대로 바쳤다.
  2. 또 곡식예물을 가져다가 한 움큼 가득히 제단에 올려놓고 아침 번제물에 보태어 살랐다.
  3. 그리고 나서 아론은 백성이 친교제물로 드리는 황소와 숫양을 죽였다. 그의 아들들이 그 피를 받아 아론에게 바치자 아론은 그것을 제단의 주변에 두루 뿌렸다.
  4. 그 황소와 숫양의 기름기, 곧 꼬리와 내장에 덮인 기름기와 콩팥과 간에 붙어 있는 기름 덩어리를 떼어내어
  5. 그것을 갈비 위에 얹어, 제단에서 살랐다.
  1. And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.
  2. And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.
  3. He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
  4. And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:
  5. And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:
  1. 그리고 아론은 갈비와 오른쪽 뒷다리를, 야훼께 흔들어 바쳤다. 이렇게 그는 모세가 지시한 대로 하였다.
  2. 그리고 아론은 백성을 향하여 손을 들고 복을 빌어주었다. 이렇게 그는 속죄제와 번제와 친교제를 모두 드리고 내려왔다.
  3. 또 모세와 아론이 만남의 장막에 들어갔다가 나오며 백성에게 복을 빌어주었다. 그러자 야훼의 영광이 온 백성에게 나타났다.
  4. 야훼 앞으로부터 불이 나와 제단 위의 번제물과 기름기를 살라버렸다. 온 백성이 그것을 보고 환성을 올리며 땅에 엎드렸다.
  1. And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.
  2. And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
  3. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
  4. And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
 
  나답과 아비후의 죽음(10:1-10:20)    
 
  1. 아론의 두 아들 나답과 아비후는 저마다 들고 있는 향로에 불을 담고 그 불에 향을 피우며 야훼께 바쳤다. 그러나 그 불은 야훼께서 지시하신 것과는 다른 불이었다.
  2. 야훼 앞으로부터 불이 나와 그들을 삼키자 그들은 야훼 앞에서 죽었다.
  3. 이것을 보고 모세가 아론에게 일렀다. "야훼께서 이렇게 말씀하셨소. '내 가까이에서 나를 섬기는 자들에게 나의 거룩함을 드러내리라. 온 백성 앞에 나의 위엄을 나타내리라.'" 아론은 다만 입을 다물고 있었다.
  4. 모세는 아론의 삼촌 우찌엘의 두 아들 미사엘과 엘사반을 불러놓고 "어서 가서 너의 조카들을 성소에서 진지 밖으로 끌어내어라." 하고 일렀다.
  5. 그들은 모세가 시키는 대로 들어가서 조카들의 속옷을 잡고 진지 밖으로 끌어내었다.
  1. And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
  2. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.
  3. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.
  4. And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.
  5. So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.
  1. 모세는 아론과 그의 두 아들 엘르아잘과 이다말에게 일렀다. "머리를 풀지 말고 옷을 찢지 마시오. 그러다가는 죽을 것이오. 야훼께서 분노하신 것은 온 회중에게 하신 것이니, 야훼께서 태워 죽이신 자들을 위하여 한 겨레인 이스라엘 온 가문이 곡해야 할 것이오.
  2. 그대들은 만남의 장막 문간 밖으로 나가지 마시오. 나가면 죽을 것이오. 그대들은 야훼께서 기름 부어 성별해 주신 사람들이 아니오?" 그들은 모세가 하라는 대로 하였다.
  3. 야훼께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다.
  4. "네가 아들들을 거느리고 만남의 장막으로 들어갈 때에는 포도주와 술을 마시지 마라. 마시면 죽으리라. 이것은 너희가 대대로 영원히 지킬 규정이다.
  5. 너희가 거룩한 것과 속된 것을 분간할 때에도, 정한 것과 부정한 것을 분간할 때에도 마시면 안 된다.
  1. And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.
  2. And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.
  3. And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,
  4. Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
  5. And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
  1. 또 야훼가 모세를 시켜 말한 모든 규정을 이스라엘 백성에게 가르칠 때에도 마시면 안 된다."
  2. 모세는 아론과 살아 남은 그의 두 아들 엘르아잘과 이다말에게 일렀다. "야훼께 살라 바치고 남은 곡식예물을 가져다가 누룩을 넣지 않고 만든 것을 제단 옆에서 먹으시오. 그것은 더없이 거룩한 것이오.
  3. 거룩한 자리에서 그것을 먹어야 합니다. 야훼께 살라 바친 제물 중에서 이것이 형의 몫이요, 형의 아들들의 몫입니다. 이렇게 해야 한다는 지시를 나는 받았소.
  4. 또 흔들어 바친 갈비와 받들어 바친 뒷다리는 형의 아들과 딸들이 형과 함께 깨끗한 자리에서라면 먹을 수 있습니다. 이것은 이스라엘 백성이 바친 친교제물에서 형과 형의 아들들에게 돌아가는 몫이오.
  5. 기름기를 살라 바칠 때 함께 받들어 바칠 뒷다리와 흔들어 바칠 갈비는 야훼 앞에 가져다가 흔들어 바치고 나면 형과 형의 아들들에게 돌아갈 몫이오. 이것이 야훼께서 지시하신 영원히 지킬 규정이오."
  1. And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.
  2. And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy:
  3. And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons' due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.
  4. And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.
  5. The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.
  1. 모세는 그들이 속죄제물로 바친 숫염소를 어찌 하였는가를 조사해 본 결과 이미 불에 태워버린 것을 알게 되었다. 모세는 아론의 아들 가운데서 살아 남은 엘르아잘과 이다말에게 화를 내며 추궁하였다.
  2. "어찌하여 속죄제물을 거룩한 자리에서 먹지 않았느냐? 그것은 더없이 거룩한 것으로서 그것을 너희에게 준 것은 회중의 죄악을 치워버리고 야훼 앞에서 그들의 죄를 벗겨주려는 것이었다.
  3. 그것은 성소 안으로 피를 가지고 들어가는 제물이 아닌 까닭에 너희는 내가 하라는 대로 그것을 성소에서 반드시 먹었어야 했다."
  4. 아론이 모세에게 변명하였다. "그 아이들이 바로 오늘 야훼 앞에 자기 자신을 위한 속죄제물과 번제물을 바쳤다. 그런데도 나에게 이런 일이 닥쳤는데 오늘 내가 속죄제물을 먹는다고 해서 야훼께서 좋게 보아주시겠느냐?"
  5. 모세는 이 말을 듣고 그도 그렇겠다고 생각하였다.
  1. And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,
  2. Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?
  3. Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.
  4. And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?
  5. And when Moses heard that, he was content.
