- 야훼여, 나를 고발하는 자들을 고발하시고, 나를 치는 자들을 쳐주소서.
- 큰 방패, 작은 방패 잡고 나서시어 이 몸을 도와주소서.
- 창과 도끼를 들고 나서시어 쫓아오는 자를 맞받아 쳐주소서. "나 너를 살리리라." 다짐해 주소서.
- 이 목숨을 노리는 자들을 부끄러워 무색케 하시고 나를 해치려는 자들을 창피해서 도망치게 하소서.
- 바람에 흩날리는 겨와도 같이 야훼의 천사에게 쫓겨가게 하소서.

- Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
- Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
- Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
- Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
- Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
