민수기 18:1-19:22

 하나님께서는 제사장과 레위인의 직무와 분깃에 대하여 말씀하셨다. 그들은 이스라엘에게 약속하신 기업인 가나안 땅을 분배받지 못하였지만 하나님께서 친히 그들의 기업이 되시므로 백성들의 십일조가 그들의 기업이 되었다. 백성들은 하나님 앞에서 정결케 하는 물에 관한 규례를 행하였다.
  
  레위의 분깃(18:1-18:32)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 아론에게 이르셨다. "성소를 범하는 일이 생기면 너와 너의 자손과 네가 거느리는 너의 가문이 책임을 져야 한다. 너희가 맡은 사제직을 잘못 수행하면 네가 거느리는 너의 자식들과 네가 책임을 져야 한다.
  2. 레위 지파에 속한 너의 일족도 너와 함께 내 앞에 나오게 하여라. 그리하여 너와 네 아들들이 증거의 장막 앞에서 예배 드릴 때 너의 지도 아래 너의 일을 거들게 하여라.
  3. 그들은 네 일을 거들고 장막에서 시중드는 일은 모두 맡을 수 있지만 거룩한 기구나 제단에는 가까이 못한다. 가까이하다가는 그들뿐 아니라 너희도 죽으리라.
  4. 그들은 너의 지도를 받으며 만남의 장막 안에서 시중을 들고 그 장막에서 하는 온갖 예식을 돕는다. 그 밖에 다른 사람은 아무도 너희 옆에서 시중들지 못한다.
  5. 너희는 성소에서 할 일과 제단에서 할 일을 정성껏 하여 다시는 이스라엘 백성에게 나의 진노가 폭발하는 일이 없게 하여라.
  1. And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
  2. And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.
  3. And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.
  4. And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
  5. And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.
  1. 내가 이제 너희 일족 레위인들을 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 뽑아 너희에게 맡긴다. 그들은 만남의 장막 일을 보좌할 임무를 띠고 나에게 헌신한 사람들이다.
  2. 너와 네 아들들은 사제로서 제단에서 할 모든 일과 휘장 안에서 할 일을 성심껏 해야 한다. 내가 너희에게 사제직을 맡기면서 시킨 일들을 충실히 지켜라. 다른 사람이 네 옆에서 시중들었다가는 죽고 말리라."
  3. 야훼께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "나 이제 나에게 들어올 제물을 너에게 맡겨 관리하게 하겠다. 이스라엘 백성이 바칠 거룩한 것은 모두 너와 네 후손의 몫으로 준다. 이것이 언제까지나 너희가 받을 보수다.
  4. 더없이 거룩한 것으로 살라 바치는 제물 가운데서 너에게 돌아갈 것은 이런 것이다. 더없이 거룩한 것으로 백성이 나에게 바칠 모든 제물, 곧 곡식예물과 속죄제물과 면죄제물이 너와 네 후손에게 돌아갈 것이다.
  5. 너희는 이것을 더없이 거룩한 곳에서 먹되 남자만 먹어야 한다. 너는 이것을 거룩하게 다루어야 한다.
  1. And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  2. Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
  3. And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
  4. This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.
  5. In the most holy place shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.
  1. 이스라엘 백성이 흔들어 바치는 모든 선물 가운데서 떼어낸 것도 너에게 돌아갈 것이다. 너뿐 아니라 너와 함께 있는 아들딸들이 언제까지나 받을 보수로 내가 너희에게 주는 것이다. 네 집안에 있는 사람으로서 부정을 타지 않은 사람은 누구나 그것을 먹을 수 있다.
  2. 나는 백성이 나에게 바칠 모든 극상품 올리브 기름과 포도주와 곡식을 너에게 준다.
  3. 그 땅에서 나는 모든 것 가운데서 맏물을 나에게 가져오면 그것도 너에게 돌아갈 것이다. 너의 집 안에 있는 사람으로서 부정을 타지 않은 사람은 누구나 그것을 먹을 수 있다.
  4. 이스라엘에서 여느 사람은 손대지 못하는 것이 모두 너에게로 돌아간다.
  5. 처음으로 모태를 열고 나온 것으로서 나에게 바친 것이면 사람이건 짐승이건 다 너에게로 돌아간다. 그러나 처음 난 사람은 속전을 받고 돌려주어야 한다. 처음 난 짐승이라도 정하지 못하면 속전을 받고 돌려주어야 한다.
  1. And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
  2. All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.
  3. And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.
  4. Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.
  5. Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.
  1. 아이의 속전은 한 세겔이 이십 게라 나가는 성전 세겔로 오 세겔이다. 난 지 한 달 되면 값을 쳐서 받고 돌려주어야 한다.
  2. 그러나 처음 난 소나 처음 난 양이나 처음 난 염소는 거룩하기 때문에 돌려주지 못한다. 그 피는 제단에 뿌리고 그 기름은 불에 태워야 한다. 이것은 향기를 풍겨 야훼를 기쁘게 해드리는 것이다.
  3. 그러나 그 고기는 흔들어 바친 갈비와 오른쪽 뒷다리와 함께 너에게 돌아갈 것이다.
  4. 이스라엘 백성이 야훼에게 흔들어 바치는 모든 거룩한 제물을 나는 너뿐 아니라 너와 함께 있는 너의 아들 딸들에게 준다. 이것이 언제까지나 너희가 받을 보수다. 이것은 소금을 치며 너와 네 후손과 맺은 야훼의 영원한 계약이다."
  5. 야훼께서 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 이 백성이 차지할 땅에서 그들과 함께 나누어 받을 유산이 없다. 그들 가운데서 너에게 돌아갈 몫은 없다. 다만 내가 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 네가 차지할 몫이요 유산이다.
  1. And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
  2. But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
  3. And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are thine.
  4. All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.
  5. And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
  1. 내가 이제 레위 후손에게 줄 것은 이스라엘 가운데서 거둔 십일조 전부이다. 이것은 만남의 장막에서 예배를 보좌한 보수로 주는 것이다.
  2. 앞으로 이스라엘 백성은 아무도 만남의 장막으로 가까이 가지 못한다. 가까이 가면 죄를 받아 죽으리라.
  3. 만남의 장막에서는 레위인만이 봉사할 수 있다. 만일 다른 사람들이 범접한다면 그것도 레위인이 책임을 져야 한다. 이것이 너희가 길이길이 대대로 지킬 규정이다. 레위 후손들은 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 아무 유산도 상속받지 못한다.
  4. 나는 이스라엘 백성이 야훼께 떼어 바치는 십일조를 레위인들에게 유산으로 준다. 그러므로 나는 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 그들이 상속받을 유산은 없다고 일러주는 것이다."
  5. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  1. And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
  2. Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.
  3. But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.
  4. But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.
  5. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
  1. "너는 레위인들에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '내가 너희에게 유산으로 주는 십일조를 이스라엘 백성에게서 받거든 너희는 그 십일조에서 십일조를 떼어 야훼께 바쳐야 한다.
  2. 나는 그것을 너희가 바칠 예물로, 타작 마당에서 모은 곡식과 술틀에서 짜낸 포도즙에서 떼어 바치는 것과 같이 쳐주리라.
  3. 너희도 이렇게 이스라엘 백성에게서 받은 십일조 전체에서 야훼의 몫을 나에게 떼어 바치되, 그것을 아론 사제에게 드려야 한다.
  4. 너희가 받은 모든 선물에서도 야훼의 몫을 떼어 바쳐야 한다. 그 가운데서도 극상품을 거룩한 선물로 떼어 바쳐야 한다.'
  5. 너는 그들에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '그 가운데서 극상품을 떼어 바치고 남은 것이 레위인들의 것이다. 그것은 타작 마당에서 난 것이나 술틀에서 짜낸 것과 같아
  1. Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
  2. And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress.
  3. Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD's heave offering to Aaron the priest.
  4. Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it.
  5. Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.
  1. 아무데서나 너와 너의 식구가 먹을 수 있다. 그것은 너희가 만남의 장막에서 봉사한 보수로 받은 몫이다.
  2. 그 가운데서 극상품을 바치기만 하면, 죄가 되지 않는다. 이스라엘 백성이 바친 거룩한 예물을 더럽힌 것이 아니니, 죽을 리가 없다.'"
  1. And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.
  2. And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.
 
  정결케 하는 물(19:1-19:22)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. 야훼께서 모세에게 명령하신 법규이다. "너는 이스라엘 백성에게 일러 흠없이 온전하고 멍에를 메어본 일이 없는 붉은 암소를 너에게 끌어오라고 하여라.
  3. 너는 그 암소를 엘르아잘 사제에게 주어라. 그것은 진지 밖으로 끌어내어 그가 지켜보는 앞에서 죽여야 한다.
  4. 엘르아잘 사제는 그 피를 손가락에 찍어서 만남의 장막 앞쪽으로 일곱 번 뿌리고
  5. 그 암소는 그가 지켜보는 앞에서 불에 살라야 한다. 가죽과 고기와 피와 똥까지도 살라야 한다.
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
  2. This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
  3. And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:
  4. And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:
  5. And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:
  1. 그러면 사제는 진홍색 털실로 묶은 송백나무와 우슬초를 그 암소를 사르는 불에 던져라.
  2. 그 다음 옷을 빨고 목욕을 한 후에야만 진 안으로 들어갈 수 있다. 저녁때가 되어야 그 사제는 부정을 벗는다.
  3. 그 암소를 사른 사람도 옷을 빨고 목욕을 해야 한다. 그도 저녁때가 되어야 부정을 벗는다.
  4. 불에 탄 암소 재는 부정을 타지 않은 사람이 거두어 진지 바깥 정한 곳에 두어야 한다. 그것은 이스라엘 회중의 더러움을 씻는 물에 탈 것으로서 잘 보관해야 한다. 그것은 죄를 씻는 제사에 쓰이는 것이다.
  5. 불에 탄 암소 재를 거두는 사람도 옷을 빨아야 한다. 그도 저녁때가 되어야 부정을 벗는다. 이것이 너희 이스라엘 백성과 너희 가운데 몸붙여 사는 외국인이 함께 길이 지킬 규정이다.
  1. And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
  2. Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.
  3. And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
  4. And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.
  5. And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.
  1. 어떤 사람의 시체이든 시체에 몸이 닿은 사람은 칠 일간 부정하다.
  2. 삼 일째 되는 날과 칠 일째 되는 날에 그 잿물로 죄를 씻으면 깨끗한 사람이 된다. 그러나 삼 일째 되는 날과 칠 일째 되는 날에 죄를 씻지 않으면 부정을 벗지 못한다.
  3. 누구든지 시체에 닿고도 죄를 씻지 않으면 야훼의 성막을 더럽히는 셈이니, 그 사람은 이스라엘에서 추방당해야 한다. 더러움을 씻는 물을 몸에 뿌리지 않아, 아직 부정을 벗지 못하고 부정을 탄 채로 있기 때문이다.
  4. 장막 안에서 사람이 죽었을 때에는 이렇게 하는 법이다. 그 장막에 들어가는 사람이나 장막 안에 있던 사람은 모두 칠 일간 부정하다.
  5. 어떤 그릇이든지 뚜껑을 닫거나 죄어두지 않아 열려 있었으면 그것도 부정하다.
  1. He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
  2. He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
  3. Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.
  4. This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
  5. And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.
  1. 들에서 칼에 맞아 죽은 사람이나 저절로 죽은 사람이나 사람의 뼈나 무덤에 몸이 닿은 사람이면 누구든지 칠 일간 부정하다.
  2. 이렇게 부정을 탄 사람에게서 부정을 벗기려면 죄를 씻는 재를 그릇에 담고 거기에 샘물을 부은 다음
  3. 부정타지 않은 사람이 우슬초를 가져다가 그 물에 적셔서 장막과 그릇들과 거기에 있던 사람에게 뿌려야 한다. 또 뼈에 닿았거나 맞아 죽은 사람이나 저절로 죽은 사람에게 닿았거나 무덤에 닿은 사람에게도 뿌려야 한다.
  4. 정한 사람이 그 부정을 탄 사람에게 삼 일째 되는 날과 칠 일째 되는 날에 이 잿물을 뿌리고, 칠 일째 되는 날 그에게서 죄를 벗겨주고 나면 그는 옷을 빨고 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그렇게 해도 그는 저녁때가 되어야 부정을 벗는다.
  5. 부정을 타고도 그 부정을 씻어내지 않은 사람은 회중 가운데서 추방당해야 한다. 더러움을 씻는 물을 몸에 뿌리지 않아 부정을 벗지 않은 몸으로 야훼의 성소를 더럽혔기 때문이다.
  1. And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
  2. And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
  3. And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
  4. And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
  5. But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
  1. 그들이 길이 지킬 규정은 이렇다. 부정을 씻어 내는 물을 뿌리는 사람도 옷을 빨아야 한다. 부정을 씻어내는 물에 닿은 사람은 저녁때가 되어야 부정을 벗는다.
  2. 무엇이든지 부정한 사람이 건드린 것은 다 부정하고 그것에 닿은 사람은 저녁때가 되어야 부정을 벗는다."
  1. And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
  2. And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
