- 하느님의 사랑 영원하신데 악명 높은 영웅이여, 네 어찌 악한 일을 자랑하느냐?
- 너는 자나깨나 해악을 꾸미고 네 혀는 날카로운 면도날, 속임수의 명수로구나.
- 착한 일보다 악한 일을 더 즐기고 바른 소리보다 거짓말을 더 좋아하니 (셀라)
- 해치는 소리라면 모두 좋아하는 사기꾼아,
- 하느님께서 너를 박살내어 영영 없애버리시리라. 장막에서 너를 끌어내어 인간 세상에서 뿌리째 뽑아버리시리라. (셀라)

- Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
- The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
- Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
- Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
- God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.

- 의인들이 그 꼴을 보고는 숙연해지고, 그를 보고 비웃으며 말하리라.
- "저 꼴을 보아라. 하느님께 의지하지 않고 많은 재산만 굳이 믿고 악행으로 세도를 부리더니."
- 나는 하느님의 집에서 싱싱하게 자라는 올리브 나무같이 한결같은 하느님의 사랑을 영원히 영원히 믿고 살리라.
- 당신의 해주신 일 고마워 항상 당신을 찬미하리이다. 당신을 믿는 사람들 앞에서 어지신 당신의 이름을 기리리이다.

- The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
- Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
- But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
