- 하느님, 내 기도에 귀를 기울이소서. 애원하는 소리에 외면하지 마소서.
- 이 몸을 굽어보시고 응답하소서. 내 가슴 답답하고 어지러움은
- 저 원수들이 아우성치고 저 악인들이 나를 몰아세우기 때문입니다. 저들은 나에게 재앙을 들씌우며, 미친 듯이 욕설을 퍼붓습니다.
- 내 마음 찢어지듯 괴롭고, 죽음의 공포가 나를 덮치옵니다.
- 무서움과 공포가 온몸을 뒤덮어 사시나무 떨듯이 부들부들 떨립니다.

- Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
- Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
- Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
- My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
- Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.

- 비둘기처럼 날개라도 있다면 안식처를 찾아 날아가련만,
- 멀리멀리 광야로 가서 숨어 있으련만, (셀라)
- 안전한 곳으로 쏜살같이 날아가 휩쓸어 가는 폭풍을 피하련만,

- And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
- Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.
- I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.
