- 그러나 만일 그의 자손이 나의 법을 저버리고 내 계명을 따라 살지 않으면,
- 내 명을 어기고 정해 준 법도를 지키지 않는다면
- 나는 그 죄를 채찍으로 다스리고 그 잘못을 매로써 치리라.
- 그러나 사랑만은 거두지 않으리라. 성실만은 지키리라.
- 맺은 계약, 틀림없이 지키고, 내 입으로 말한 것, 변경하지 않으리라.

- If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
- If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
- Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
- Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
- My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
