이사야 3:1-5:30

 하나님께서는 유다와 예루살렘의 죄악으로 인해 백성들이 심판을 받고 슬퍼하며 통곡할 것이라고 하셨다. 그러나 예루살렘에 남아 있는 자들은 하나님의 구원을 받게 될 것이라고 하셨다. 또한, 이스라엘을 포도원으로 비유하면서 들포도를 맺는 유다인들의 불신앙에 대하여 하나님의 심판이 있을 것이라고 엄중히 경고하셨다.
  
  이스라엘의 죄악과 심판(3:1-4:6)    
 
  1. 그렇다! 주, 만군의 야훼께서는 예루살렘과 유다를 의지할 데 없게 하신다. 믿던 빵과 의지하던 물도 그들에게서 빼앗으신다.
  2. 용사도 군인도 재판관도 예언자도 점쟁이도 장로도
  3. 장교도 귀족도 고문관도 능숙한 마술사도 신통한 요술쟁이도 몰아내신다.
  4. "내가 풋내기들을 그들의 관리로 세우고 철부지들로 그들을 지배하게 하리라."
  5. 백성들이 서로 괴롭히고 이웃과 이웃이 서로 못살게 구는 세상, 젊은이들이 노인에게 버릇없이 대하고, 천한 자들이 귀인에게 마구 덤비는 세태가 되었구나.
  1. For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.
  2. The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,
  3. The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
  4. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
  5. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
  1. 그들이 자기 문중의 아무나 붙잡고 "너에게 도포가 있으니 우리의 어른이 되어다오. 이 위기를 네 손으로 수습해 다오." 할지라도
  2. 그 날에 그는 역정을 내며 "나는 고쳐낼 수 없다. 내 집에는 빵도 없고 도포도 없으니 나를 백성의 어른으로 세우지 마라." 하리라.
  3. 모두들 말과 행동으로 야훼를 거역하고 존엄하신 그의 눈에 거슬리니 예루살렘은 흔들리며, 유다는 쓰러지는구나.
  4. 뻔뻔스런 얼굴에 죄가 서리어 있고 소돔처럼 죄를 자랑하며 숨기지도 않는다. 아, 멸망을 자청하는 그들, 처참하여라.
  5. 복되어라, 올바른 사람. 자기의 일한 보람을 먹고 살리라.
  1. When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
  2. In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
  3. For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
  4. The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
  5. Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
  1. 비참하여라, 악한 사람. 자기의 저지른 일에 앙갚음을 받으리라.
  2. 오, 나의 겨레야, 철부지에게 시달리고 여자들에게 지배를 받는 나의 겨레야, 너희를 바로 인도할 자들이 도리어 엉뚱한 길로 이끌어 너희의 갈 길을 망쳐놓는구나.
  3. 야훼께서 재판정에 들어서신다. 당신 백성을 재판하시려고 자리를 잡으신다.
  4. 야훼께서 당신 백성의 장로들과 그 우두머리들을 재판하신다. "내 포도밭에 불을 지른 것은 너희들이다. 너희는 가난한 자에게서 빼앗은 것을 너희 집에 두었다.
  5. 어찌하여 너희는 내 백성을 짓밟느냐? 어찌하여 가난한 자의 얼굴을 짓찧느냐? 주, 만군의 야훼가 묻는다."
  1. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
  2. As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
  3. The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
  4. The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
  5. What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
  1. 야훼께서 계속 문책하신다. "시온의 딸들은 잘난 체 목을 빼고 추파를 던지며 돌아다니고 발목으로 잘랑잘랑 소리나 내며 이리저리 꼬리치고 돌아다닌다."
  2. 그런즉, 주께서는 시온의 딸들의 정수리를 버짐 먹게 하시고 그들의 머리를 밀어버리시리라.
  3. 그 날이 오면, 주께서 온갖 패물과 아름다운 옷을 벗겨버리시리라. 발목걸이, 머리망사, 목걸이,
  4. 귀고리, 팔목걸이, 면사포,
  5. 머리댕기, 다리걸이, 허리띠, 향수갑, 부적,
  1. Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
  2. Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
  3. In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
  4. The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
  5. The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
  1. 인장가락지, 코고리,
  2. 예복, 두루마기, 장옷, 손가방,
  3. 비치는 옷, 모시옷, 고운 이마띠, 너울을 다 벗겨버리시리라.
  4. 향내는 썩는 냄새로, 띠는 포승으로 바뀌고 곱게 땋았던 머리는 삭발당하고 예쁜 옷을 입었던 몸에는 부대조각을 감고 아름답던 얼굴에는 수치의 낙인이 찍히리라.
  5. 너의 장정들은 칼에 쓰러지고 너의 용사들은 싸움터에서 넘어지리라.
  1. The rings, and nose jewels,
  2. The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
  3. The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
  4. And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
  5. Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
  1. 문간은 온통 탄식과 울음바다가 되고 너만이 땅에 주저앉아 홀로 남아 있으리라.
  1. And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
 
 
  1. 그 날에 일곱 여자가 한 남자를 붙잡고 애원하리라. "먹여달라, 입혀달라, 조르지 않겠으니 당신의 아내라는 말만이라도 듣게 해주십시오. 이 부끄러운 신세를 면하게 해주십시오."
  2. 그 날에는 야훼께서 돋게 하신 싹이 살아 남은 이스라엘 사람들에게 아름답고 영예로울 것이며 땅에서 나는 열매가 자랑스럽고 소중하리라.
  3. 시온에 살아 남은 자, 예루살렘에 남은 자는 성도라 불리리니 그들은 모두 예루살렘에 남은 생존자의 명단에 오른 이들이다.
  4. 주께서 시온의 딸들의 더러움을 씻으시고 심판하는 입김과 쓸어가는 바람으로 피에 물든 예루살렘을 속속들이 정하게 하시리라.
  5. 그 때 야훼께서 시온 산 전역과 모인 회중 위에 낮에는 구름으로, 밤에는 솟아오르는 연기와 환한 불길로 나타나시리라. 야훼의 영광이 모든 것을 덮는 차일이 되고
  1. And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
  2. In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
  3. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
  4. When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
  5. And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
  1. 천막이 되어, 낮에는 더위를 피하는 그늘이 되시고 소나기와 비를 피할 은신처가 되시리라.
  1. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
 
  심판의 저주(5:1-5:30)    
 
  1. 임의 포도밭을 노래한 사랑의 노래를 내가 임에게 불러드리리라. 나의 임은 기름진 산등성이에 포도밭을 가지고 있었네.
  2. 임은 밭을 일구어 돌을 골라내고 좋은 포도나무를 심었지. 한가운데 망대를 쌓고 즙을 짜는 술틀까지도 마련해 놓았네. 포도가 송이송이 맺을까 했는데 들포도가 웬 말인가?
  3. 예루살렘 시민들아! 유다 백성들아! 이제 나와 포도밭 사이를 판가름하여라.
  4. 내가 포도밭을 위하여 무슨 일을 더 해야 한단 말인가? 내가 해주지 않은 것이 무엇이 있는가? 포도가 송이송이 맺을까 했는데 어찌하여 들포도가 열렸는가?
  5. 이제 내가 포도밭에 무슨 일을 할 것인가를 너희에게 알리리라. 울타리를 걷어 짐승들에게 뜯기게 하고 담을 허물어 마구 짓밟히게 하리라.
  1. Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
  2. And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
  3. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
  4. What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
  5. And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
  1. 망그러진 채 그대로 내버려두리라. 순을 치지도 아니하고 김을 매지도 않아 가시덤불과 엉겅퀴가 덮이게 하리라. 구름에게 비를 내리지 말라고 명하리라.
  2. 만군의 야훼의 포도밭은 이스라엘 가문이요, 주께서 사랑하시는 나무는 유다 백성이다. 공평을 기대하셨는데 유혈이 웬 말이며 정의를 기대하셨는데 아우성이 웬 말인가?
  3. 아, 너희가 비참하게 되리라. 집을 연달아 차지하고 땅을 차례로 사들이는 자들아! 빈터 하나 남기지 않고 온 세상을 혼자 살듯이 차지하는 자들아!
  4. 만군의 야훼께서 내 귀에 대고 맹세하신다. "많은 집들이 흉가가 되어 제아무리 크고 좋아도 인기척이 없게 되리라.
  5. 포도밭 열흘갈이에서 술 한 항아리밖에 나지 아니하고 종자 한 섬에서 곡식 한 독이 가까스로 나리라."
  1. And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
  2. For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
  3. Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
  4. In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
  5. Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.
  1. 아, 너희가 비참하게 되리라. 새벽부터 독한 술을 찾아나서고 밤늦게까지 술독에 빠져 있는 자들아!
  2. 수금과 거문고, 소구와 피리 소리 들으며 술이나 마시고 야훼께서 하시는 일에는 관심도 없으며 그가 손수 이루시는 일은 아랑곳도 하지 않는 자들아!
  3. 내 백성은 지각이 없어 포로가 되고 귀족은 굶어 죽고 민중은 목이 타 죽으리라.
  4. 땅이 목구멍을 열고 입을 찢어지게 벌릴 것이니 귀족과 서민이 함께 떠들고 날뛰다가 빠져 들어가리라.
  5. 이렇듯이 사람이 스스로 낮아졌고, 인간은 천해졌으니 거만한 자의 눈은 숙어지리라.
  1. Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
  2. And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
  3. Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
  4. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
  5. And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
  1. 만군의 야훼께서는 그 공평하심으로 인하여 기림을 받으시고 거룩하신 하느님은 정의로 당신의 거룩하심을 드러내시리라.
  2. 새끼 양들이 거기에서 제 목장인 양 풀을 뜯고 살진 짐승이 그 폐허에서 한가로이 먹으리라.
  3. 아, 너희가 비참하게 되리라! 소 고삐로 재앙을 끌어당기고 병거의 줄로 죄를 잡아 당기는 자들아!
  4. 너희가 빈정거리는구나. "하시고 싶은 일을 어서 해보시오. 거룩하다는 이스라엘의 하느님이여, 당신의 뜻을 빨리 이루어 우리에게 알려주시오."
  5. 아, 너희가 비참하게 되리라. 나쁜 것을 좋다, 좋은 것을 나쁘다, 어둠을 빛이라, 빛을 어둠이라, 쓴 것을 달다, 단 것을 쓰다 하는 자들아!
  1. But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
  2. Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.
  3. Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
  4. That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
  5. Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
  1. 아, 너희가 비참하게 되리라. 지혜 있는 자로 자처하는 자들아! 유식한 자로 자처하는 자들아!
  2. 아, 너희가 비참하게 되리라. 술이 센 자들아! 독한 술을 잘 빚는 자들아!
  3. 뇌물에 눈이 어두워 죄인을 옳다 하고 옳은 사람을 죄있다 하는 자들아!
  4. 지푸라기가 불길에 휩쓸리듯 검불이 불꽃에 스러지듯 너희의 뿌리는 썩고 꽃잎은 먼지처럼 흩날리리라. 만군의 야훼의 가르침을 저버리고 이스라엘의 거룩하신 분의 말씀을 거역하였기 때문이다.
  5. 그리하여 야훼께서는 당신의 백성에게 진노하시어 손을 뻗어 그들을 치셨다. 그가 고관들을 죽이시니 그들의 시체가 한길에 버려진 쓰레기 더미 같았다. 그래도 진노가 풀리지 않으시어 또다시 치려고 손을 드셨다.
  1. Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
  2. Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
  3. Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
  4. Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
  5. Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
  1. 주께서 신호를 올리시어 먼 곳의 백성을 부르시고 휘파람을 부시어 땅 끝에서 사람들을 부르신다. 저 쏜살같이 달려오는 모습을 보아라!
  2. 힘이 빠져 비틀거리는 자도 없고 졸거나 잠자는 자도 없다. 혁대가 풀린 자도, 신끈이 끊어진 자도 없다.
  3. 화살은 날카롭게 날이 섰고, 활시위는 팽팽하고 말발굽은 차돌같이 단단하고 병거 바퀴는 돌개바람처럼 돌아간다.
  4. 암사자처럼 고함지르고 새끼 사자처럼 소리지른다. 으르렁거리며 먹이를 덮쳐 으슥한 곳으로 물고 가니 빼낼 자가 없구나.
  5. 그 날 밀려올 아우성 소리는 밀어닥치는 노한 파도 소리 같으리라. 이 땅을 보아라. 저 암흑과 고난을, 암흑이 빛을 삼켜버리는구나.
  1. And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
  2. None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
  3. Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
  4. Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
  5. And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
 
  촉범(觸犯, 3:8)  해서는 안될 일을 행함, 주님이 뻔히 보고 계신 앞에서 범죄한다는 의미
