- 미련한 사람은 이웃을 모욕하지만 현명한 사람은 입을 다문다.
- 입방아를 찧고 다니는 사람은 비밀을 흘리지만 속이 듬직한 사람은 비밀을 지킨다.
- 지휘자 없는 군대는 패하고 좋은 참모가 많으면 승리한다.
