- 계획은 사람이 세우고 결정은 야훼께서 하신다.
- 사람의 일이 제 눈에는 모두 잘돼 보여도 야훼께서는 속생각을 헤아리신다.
- 무슨 일을 하든지 야훼께 맡기면 생각하는 일이 다 이루어지리라.
- 야훼께서는 모든 것을 각각 쓰임에 맞게 만드셨으니 불의한 사람은 재앙이 내리는 날에 재앙받을 사람으로 만드신 것이다.
- 야훼께서 마음이 거만한 자를 미워하시니, 그런 자가 어찌 벌을 받지 않으랴.
