- 1힘없다고 해서 가난한 사람을 털지 말며 법정에서 어려운 사람을 짓누르지 마라.
- 야훼께서 그들의 송사를 떠맡으시고 어려운 사람 등치는 자를 목조르신다.
- 2성급한 사람과 벗하지 말고 성 잘 내는 사람과 가까이 지내지 마라.
- 그들과 어울리다가는 올가미에 걸려 목숨을 잃는다.
- 3남의 보증을 서거나 담보를 서지 마라.

- Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:
- For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
- Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:
- Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
- Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties for debts.
