- 숯불에 숯을 넣고, 타는 불에 나무를 던지듯 말썽꾸러기는 싸움에 부채질만 한다.
- 고자질하는 말은 맛난 음식과 같아 뱃속 깊이 들어간다.
- 마음이 악하면서 말만 부드럽게 하는 것은 겉만 매끈하게 칠한 질그릇과 같다.
- 원수는 그럴싸한 말을 해도 엉뚱한 속셈을 품고 있다.
