- 슬기로운 아들은 하느님의 법을 지키고 건달들과 어울리는 자는 아비에게 욕을 돌린다.
- 고리대금으로 재산을 불리는 것은 가난한 사람 도와주는 사람을 위해 저축하는 격이다.
- 귀를 막고 하느님의 법을 듣지 아니하면, 하느님은 그의 기도마저 역겨워하신다.
