역대상

  본서는 이스라엘 왕국의 영광스런 역사를 회고하고, 하나님과의 언약을 강조함으로써 귀환민들에게 하나님 백성으로서의 정체성과 희망을 주기 위하여 기록되었다. 예루살렘 멸망 후 70년 동안 바벨론 포로 생활을 한 이스라엘 백성들은 새로운 신앙 공동체로 묶어 줄 수 있는 영적 기반이 필요했던 것이다.

  1장부터 9장까지는 아담으로부터 아브라함, 다윗, 바벨론 포로 귀환민에 이르는 족보를 개략적으로 기록함으로써 하나님의 선택과 보호하심을 소개하였다. 10장부터 29장까지는 하나님의 언약에 기초한 다윗의 통치를 기록하고 있다.

 

 

역대상 1:1-2:17

 아담으로부터 시작하여 노아, 아브라함, 야곱과 그의 아들들, 그리고 유다에서 다윗에 이르는 족보가 기록되어 있다.
  
  아담에서 야곱까지의 족보(1:1-1:54)    
 
  1. 아담, 셋, 에노스,
  2. 케난, 마할랄렐, 야렛,
  3. 에녹, 므두셀라, 라멕,
  4. 노아, 그 다음은 셈과 함과 야벳.
  5. 야벳의 아들은 고멜, 마곡, 마대, 야완, 두발, 메섹, 디라스.
  1. Adam, Seth, Enosh,
  2. Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared,
  3. Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
  4. Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth.
  5. The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras.
  1. 고멜의 아들은 아스그낫, 디밧, 도가르마.
  2. 야완의 아들은 엘리사아, 다르싯, 기띰, 로다님.
  3. 함의 아들은 에티오피아, 이집트, 리비아, 가나안.
  4. 에티오피아의 아들은 스바, 하윌라, 삽다, 라아마, 삽드가. 라아마의 아들은 세바와 드단.
  5. 에티오피아에게서 니므롯이 났는데, 그는 세상에 태어난 첫 장사였다.
  1. The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Diphath, and Togarmah.
  2. The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.
  3. The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
  4. The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raama and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
  5. Cush became the father of Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
  1. 이집트에게서 리디아족, 아남족, 르합족, 납두족,
  2. 바드룻족, 가슬루족, 갑돌족이 나왔고 갑돌족에게서 불레셋족이 갈라져 나왔다.
  3. 가나안에게서 난 첫아들이 시돈이요, 그 뒤를 이어 헷족,
  4. 여부스족, 아모리족, 기르갓족,
  5. 히위족, 아르키족, 신족,
  1. Mizraim became the father of the people of Lud, Anam, Lehab, Naphtuh,
  2. Pathrus, Casluh, from which the Philistines came, and Caphtor.
  3. Canaan became the father of Sidon, his firstborn, Heth,
  4. and the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,
  5. the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,
  1. 아르왓족, 스말족, 하맛족이 나왔다.
  2. 셈의 아들은 엘람, 아수르, 아르박삿, 리디아, 아람. 아람의 아들은 우스, 훌, 게델, 메섹.
  3. 아르박삿에게서 셀라가 났고 셀라에게서 에벨이 났다.
  4. 에벨에게서 두 아들이 태어났다. 한 아들의 이름은 벨렉인데, 그의 시대에 인종이 갈라져 나갔다고 해서 그렇게 불렀다. 그의 아우 이름은 욕단이다.
  5. 욕단에게서 알모닷, 셀렙, 하살마?, 예라,
  1. the Arvadites, the Zemarites and the Hamathites.
  2. The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshech.
  3. Arpachshad became the father of Shelah and Shelah became the father of Eber.
  4. Two sons were born to Eber, the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother's name was Joktan.
  5. Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
  1. 하도람, 우잘, 디클라,
  2. 에발, 아비마엘, 세바,
  3. 오빌, 하윌라, 요밥이 났다. 이들이 모두 욕단의 아들이다.
  4. 셈, 아르박삿, 셀라,
  5. 에벨, 벨렉, 르우,
  1. Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
  2. Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,
  3. Ophir, Havilah and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.
  4. Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
  5. Eber, Peleg, Reu,
  1. 스룩, 나홀, 데라,
  2. 아브람, 이 아브람이 곧 아브라함이다.
  3. 아브라함에게는 이사악과 이스마엘이라는 아들이 있었다.
  4. 그들의 계보는 아래와 같다. 이스마엘의 맏아들은 느바욧, 그 아래로 케달, 아드브엘, 밉삼,
  5. 미스마, 두마, 마싸, 하닷, 데마,
  1. Serug, Nahor, Terah,
  2. Abram, that is Abraham.
  3. The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael.
  4. These are their genealogies: the firstborn of Ishmael was Nebaioth, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
  5. Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,
  1. 여툴, 나비스, 케드마. 이들이 이스마엘의 아들들이다.
  2. 아브라함이 소실 크투라에게서 얻은 아들은 지므란, 욕산, 므단, 미디안, 이스박, 수아. 욕산의 아들은 세바와 드단.
  3. 미디안의 아들은 에바, 에벨, 하녹, 아비다, 엘다아. 이들이 모두 크투라의 아들들이다.
  4. 아브라함은 이사악을 낳았다. 이사악은 에사오와 이스라엘이라는 아들을 두었다.
  5. 에사오의 아들은 엘리바즈, 르우엘, 여우스, 야을람, 코라.
  1. Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah; these were the sons of Ishmael.
  2. The sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine, whom she bore, were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan.
  3. The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
  4. Abraham became the father of Isaac The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.
  5. The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam and Korah.
  1. 엘리바즈의 아들은 데만, 오말, 스비, 가아담, 크낫, 딤나, 아말렉.
  2. 르우엘의 아들은 나핫, 제라, 삼마, 미짜.
  3. 세일의 아들은 로탄, 소발, 시브온, 아나, 디손, 에제르, 디산.
  4. 로탄의 아들은 호리, 호맘. 로탄에게는 딤나라는 누이가 있었다.
  5. 소발의 아들은 알완, 마나핫, 에발, 스비, 오남. 시브온의 아들은 아야, 아나.
  1. The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna and Amalek.
  2. The sons of Reuel were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
  3. The sons of Seir were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer and Dishan.
  4. The sons of Lotan were Hori and Homam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
  5. The sons of Shobal were Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon were Aiah and Anah.
  1. 아나의 아들은 디손. 디손의 아들은 하므란, 에스반, 이드란, 그란.
  2. 에제르의 아들은 빌한, 자완, 야칸. 디산의 아들은 우스, 아란.
  3. 이스라엘 나라에 왕제도가 생기기 전에 에돔에는 이미 왕이 나라를 다스리고 있었는데 그 에돔 왕들의 이름은 아래와 같다. 첫째는 브올의 아들 벨라였다. 그의 수도는 딘하바라 불리었다.
  4. 벨라가 죽자 보스라 사람 제라의 아들 요밥이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.
  5. 요밥이 죽자 데만 사람 후삼이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.
  1. The son of Anah was Dishon. And the sons of Dishon were Hamran, Eshban, Ithran and Cheran.
  2. The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan and Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.
  3. Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king of the sons of Israel reigned. Bela was the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
  4. When Bela died, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah became king in his place.
  5. When Jobab died, Husham of the land of the Temanites became king in his place.
  1. 후삼이 죽자 브닷의 아들 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다. 하닷은 미디안을 모압 벌에서 무찌른 왕이다. 그의 수도는 아윗이라 불렀다.
  2. 하닷이 죽자 마스레카 사람 사믈라가 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.
  3. 사믈라가 죽자 르호봇한나할 사람 사울이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.
  4. 사울이 죽자 악볼의 아들 바알하난이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.
  5. 바알하난이 죽자 하닷이 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다. 그의 수도는 바이라고 불리었다. 그의 아내의 이름은 므헤타브엘이었는데 그는 메자합의 손녀이자 마드렛의 딸이었다.
  1. When Husham died, Hadad the son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the field of Moab, became king in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.
  2. When Hadad died, Samlah of Masrekah became king in his place.
  3. When Samlah died, Shaul of Rehoboth by the River became king in his place.
  4. When Shaul died, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor became king in his place.
  5. When Baal-hanan died, Hadad became king in his place; and the name of his city was Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
  1. 하닷이 죽은 다음에는 추장들이 에돔을 다스렸다. 추장 딤나, 추장 알랴, 추장 여뎃,
  2. 추장 오홀리바마, 추장 엘라, 추장 비논,
  3. 추장 크나즈, 추장 데만, 추장 밉살,
  4. 추장 막디엘, 추장 이람. 이들이 에돔의 추장들이었다.
  1. Then Hadad died. Now the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
  2. chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
  3. chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
  4. chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
 
  다윗의 족보(2:1-2:17)    
 
  1. 이스라엘의 아들들 이름은 아래와 같다. 르우벤, 시므온, 레위, 유다, 이싸갈, 즈불룬,
  2. 단, 요셉, 베냐민, 납달리, 가드, 아셀.
  3. 유다에게는 에르, 오난, 셀라라는 아들이 있었다. 이 셋은 가나안 사람 수아의 딸에게서 얻은 아들이었다. 유다의 맏아들 에르는 야훼의 눈 밖에 나서 죽임을 당했다.
  4. 유다는 며느리 다말에게서 베레스와 제라를 얻었다. 유다의 아들은 모두 다섯이었다.
  5. 베레스의 아들은 헤스론과 하물이었고
  1. These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
  2. Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher.
  3. The sons of Judah were Er, Onan and Shelah; these three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD, so He put him to death.
  4. Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.
  5. The sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul.
  1. 제라의 아들은 지므리, 에단, 헤만, 갈골, 다라 다섯이었다.
  2. 지므리의 아들은 가르미였고 가르미의 아들은 아갈이었다. 하느님의 명을 어기고 하느님께 돌릴 것을 가로챘다가 이스라엘에 액운을 끌어들인 사람이 바로 이 아갈이다.
  3. 에단의 아들은 아자리야이다.
  4. 헤스론이 낳은 아들은 여라므엘, 람, 갈렙이다.
  5. 람은 암미나답을 낳았고 암미나답은 유다 지파의 대표 나흐손을 낳았다.
  1. The sons of Zerah were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol and Dara; five of them in all.
  2. The son of Carmi was Achar, the troubler of Israel, who violated the ban.
  3. The son of Ethan was Azariah.
  4. Now the sons of Hezron, who were born to him were Jerahmeel, Ram and Chelubai.
  5. Ram became the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, leader of the sons of Judah;
  1. 나흐손은 살마를 낳았고 살마는 보아즈를 낳았다.
  2. 보아즈는 오벳을 낳았고 오벳은 이새를 낳았다.
  3. 이새가 낳은 아들들은 다음과 같다. 맏아들 엘리압, 둘째 아비나답, 셋째 시마,
  4. 넷째 느다넬, 다섯째 라때,
  5. 여섯째 오셈, 일곱째 다윗.
  1. Nahshon became the father of Salma, Salma became the father of Boaz,
  2. Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;
  3. and Jesse became the father of Eliab his firstborn, then Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,
  4. Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
  5. Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;
  1. 그들에게는 스루야와 아비가일이라는 누이가 있었는데, 스루야는 세 아들 아비새, 요압, 아사헬을 낳았고,
  2. 아비가일은 이스마엘 사람 예델에게 시집가서 아마사를 낳았다.
  1. and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the three sons of Zeruiah were Abshai, Joab and Asahel.
  2. Abigail bore Amasa, and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
