이사야 20:1-22:25

 이사야는 삼 년 동안 벗은 몸과 벗은 발로 행하며, 앗수르의 공격으로 애굽과 구스가 당할 치욕을 몸소 보여 주었다. 바벨론, 두마, 아라비아, 게달이 멸망을 당하게 될 것이고, 하나님을 존경하지 않은 예루살렘에는 심판이 임할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 하나님의 집에 수치를 끼친 셉나를 관직에서 쫓아내고 대신에 엘리아김을 세웠지만, 후에 그도 부패하게 될 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  애굽, 구스, 바벨론의 멸망(20:1-21:17)    
 
  1. 아시리아 왕 사르곤의 명령을 받고 원정길에 오른 사령관이 아스돗에 이르러 그 곳을 쳐서 빼앗던 때의 일이다.
  2. 바로 그 때 야훼께서는 아모쓰의 아들 이사야를 시켜 말씀하셨다. 야훼께서 이사야에게 이르셨다. "너는 어서 굵은 베 옷을 벗고 발에서 신을 벗어라." 이사야는 그 말씀대로 옷을 벗고 맨발로 다녔다.
  3. 그 후에 야훼께서 말씀하셨다. "나의 종 이사야가 삼 년 동안 옷을 벗고 맨발로 다니며 이집트와 에티오피아의 운명을 나타내는 상징이 되었다.
  4. 이와 같이 이집트와 에티오피아에서 사로잡힌 포로들은 젊은이나 늙은이 할 것 없이 알몸과 맨발로 엉덩이까지 드러낸 채 아시리아 왕에게 끌려가 이집트의 치욕이 되리라.
  5. 그리하여 사람들은 자기들이 믿고 쳐다보던 에티오피아와 자랑으로 삼던 이집트의 형편을 보고 어리둥절하며 실망하리라.
  1. In the year that the commander came to Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him and he fought against Ashdod and captured it,
  2. at that time the LORD spoke through Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, "Go and loosen the sackcloth from your hips and take your shoes off your feet " And he did so, going naked and barefoot.
  3. And the LORD said, "Even as My servant Isaiah has gone naked and barefoot three years as a sign and token against Egypt and Cush,
  4. so the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Cush, young and old, naked and barefoot with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
  5. "Then they will be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and Egypt their boast.
  1. 그 날에 바다를 끼고 사는 사람들이 외치리라. '아, 우리가 믿고 쳐다보던 나라, 아시리아 왕의 손에서 빼내 달라고 우리가 도움을 청하던 나라가 이 모양이 되었으니 우리가 피할 곳은 어디란 말인가?'"
  1. "So the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day, 'Behold, such is our hope, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and we, how shall we escape?'"
 
 
  1. 해변의 광야에 이런 선언이 내려졌다. 남쪽 광야에서 휘몰아치는 폭풍처럼 저 무서운 땅 광야에서 몰려온다.
  2. 참혹한 광경을 나는 환상으로 보았다. 배신하던 자가 배신당하고 침략하던 자가 침략당하는구나. "엘람아, 올라오너라. 메대야, 에워싸거라. 모든 탄식 소리를 내가 잠재우리라."
  3. 이 몸은 허리가 부들부들 떨리고 해산하는 여인이 몸부림치듯, 아파 견딜 수 없구나. 너무나 괴로워 아무것도 들리지 아니하고 너무나 무서워 아무것도 보이지 않는다.
  4. 나의 마음은 갈피를 잡지 못하고 무서워 떨며 나를 쉬게 하던 밤은 도리어 공포를 안겨줄 뿐,
  5. 연회상을 차려 자리를 펴고 먹고 마신다마는 너희 장군들아, 일어나거라. 방패에 기름을 먹여라.
  1. The oracle concerning the wilderness of the sea As windstorms in the Negev sweep on, It comes from the wilderness, from a terrifying land.
  2. A harsh vision has been shown to me; The treacherous one still deals treacherously, and the destroyer still destroys Go up, Elam, lay siege, Media; I have made an end of all the groaning she has caused.
  3. For this reason my loins are full of anguish; Pains have seized me like the pains of a woman in labor. I am so bewildered I cannot hear, so terrified I cannot see.
  4. My mind reels, horror overwhelms me; The twilight I longed for has been turned for me into trembling.
  5. They set the table, they spread out the cloth, they eat, they drink; "Rise up, captains, oil the shields,"
  1. 주께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. "어서 보초를 세워라. 발견되는 대로 보고하여라.
  2. 행여 두 줄로 달려오는 기마대가 보이지 않나, 행여 나귀를 탄 부대, 낙타를 탄 부대가 보이지 않나, 정신을 바짝 차려라. 정신을 단단히 차려라."
  3. 보초가 외쳤다. "나는 날마다 해가 질 때까지, 밤마다 밤이 새도록 떠나지 아니하고 주의 망대 위에서 보초를 서고 있습니다.
  4. 아, 옵니다. 기병대가 옵니다. 기마대가 두 줄로 달려오고 있습니다." 그가 또 외쳤다. "떨어졌다. 바빌론이 떨어졌다. 그 신상들은 모조리 땅에 넘어져 부서졌다."
  5. 아, 짓밟히던 나의 겨레, 타작 마당에서 박살나던 나의 동포야, 이스라엘의 하느님, 만군의 야훼께서 일러주신 것을 너희에게 알려주는 것이다.
  1. For thus the Lord says to me, "Go, station the lookout, let him report what he sees.
  2. "When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, A train of donkeys, a train of camels, Let him pay close attention, very close attention."
  3. Then the lookout called, "O Lord, I stand continually by day on the watchtower, And I am stationed every night at my guard post.
  4. "Now behold, here comes a troop of riders, horsemen in pairs." And one said, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon; And all the images of her gods are shattered on the ground."
  5. O my threshed people, and my afflicted of the threshing floor! What I have heard from the LORD of hosts, The God of Israel, I make known to you.
  1. 에돔에 이런 선언이 내려졌다. 세일 산에서 외치는 소리가 들려온다. "파수꾼아, 얼마나 있으면 밤이 새겠느냐? 파수꾼아, 얼마나 있으면 밤이 새겠느냐?"
  2. 파수꾼이 대답한다. "아침이 오면 무엇하랴! 밤이 또 오는데. 묻고 싶거든 얼마든지 다시 와서 물어보아라."
  3. 아랍에 이런 선언이 내려졌다. 드단족 행상들아, 아랍 땅 덤불 속에 몸을 숨기고 밤을 새워라.
  4. 데마 지방 주민들아, 목말라 헤매는 자들에게 물을 가져다 주어라. 피난민들에게 먹을 것을 가져다 주어라.
  5. 그들은 긴 칼, 날선 칼을 피하여 화살이 쏟아지는 위험한 싸움터에서 빠져 나온 자들이다.
  1. The oracle concerning Edom One keeps calling to me from Seir, "Watchman, how far gone is the night? Watchman, how far gone is the night?"
  2. The watchman says, "Morning comes but also night. If you would inquire, inquire; Come back again."
  3. The oracle about Arabia In the thickets of Arabia you must spend the night, O caravans of Dedanites.
  4. Bring water for the thirsty, O inhabitants of the land of Tema, Meet the fugitive with bread.
  5. For they have fled from the swords, From the drawn sword, and from the bent bow And from the press of battle.
  1. 주께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. "머슴살이 기한인 일 년이 지나면 케달의 세력이 끝장나리라.
  2. 케달의 후손 가운데 활 쏘는 장정이 얼마 남지 않으리라. 이스라엘의 하느님, 야훼가 말한다."
  1. For thus the Lord said to me, "In a year, as a hired man would count it, all the splendor of Kedar will terminate;
  2. and the remainder of the number of bowmen, the mighty men of the sons of Kedar, will be few; for the LORD God of Israel has spoken."
 
  셉나와 엘리아김(22:1-22:25)    
 
  1. 환상골짜기에 이런 선언이 내려졌다. 너희가 무슨 일로 모두 지붕에 올라갔느냐?
  2. 웅성대고 소란한 도시, 기쁨에 들뜬 마을아, 너희 죽은 자는 칼에 쓰러진 것이 아니요 싸움터에서 죽은 것도 아니다.
  3. 너희 고관들은 모조리 도망치다가 활을 잡아보지도 못하고 사로잡혔고 멀리 도망치던 용사들도 모두 붙잡혀 갔다.
  4. 그래서 내가 소리쳤다. "나를 실컷 울게 내버려두어라. 내 백성의 수도가 망하였다고 해서 나를 위로하려 하지 마라."
  5. 주 만군의 야훼께서 공포와 혼란의 날이 오게 하시리니 그 날에 환상골짜기에는 성벽이 무너져 내리고 사람들은 산을 향하여 도움을 청하리라.
  1. The oracle concerning the valley of vision What is the matter with you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops?
  2. You who were full of noise, You boisterous town, you exultant city; Your slain were not slain with the sword, Nor did they die in battle.
  3. All your rulers have fled together, And have been captured without the bow; All of you who were found were taken captive together, Though they had fled far away.
  4. Therefore I say, "Turn your eyes away from me, Let me weep bitterly, Do not try to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people."
  5. For the Lord GOD of hosts has a day of panic, subjugation and confusion In the valley of vision, A breaking down of walls And a crying to the mountain.
  1. 엘람은 화살통을 메고, 시리아는 말을 타고 달려오며 키르는 방패를 꺼내 들었다.
  2. 병거들이 너의 기름진 골짜기들을 메우고 기병들은 성문 밖에 진을 쳐
  3. 유다의 방어진을 무너뜨렸다. 그 날 너는 수풀궁의 무기를 의지하면서
  4. 다윗 성의 구멍뚫린 곳을 이리저리 찾아내며 아랫못에 물을 채웠었지.
  5. 예루살렘 성 안에 있는 집들을 조사하여 더러는 허물어 성벽을 쌓고,
  1. Elam took up the quiver With the chariots, infantry and horsemen; And Kir uncovered the shield.
  2. Then your choicest valleys were full of chariots, And the horsemen took up fixed positions at the gate.
  3. And He removed the defense of Judah. In that day you depended on the weapons of the house of the forest,
  4. And you saw that the breaches In the wall of the city of David were many; And you collected the waters of the lower pool.
  5. Then you counted the houses of Jerusalem And tore down houses to fortify the wall.
  1. 두 성벽 사이에 저수지를 만들어 옛 못에서 물을 끌어들이기도 하였지. 너희는 적군을 이끌어들이신 그분을 의지하지 아니하였고 이 일을 옛날부터 계획하신 그분을 생각하지 아니하였다.
  2. 그 날 주 만군의 야훼께서 너를 불러 통곡하며 애곡하며 머리털을 뜯으며 베옷을 입으라고 하시지 않았느냐?
  3. 그런데 너희는 도리어 기뻐 날뛰고 소와 양을 잡아 고기를 먹고 술을 마시며, "내일이면 죽을 몸, 실컷 먹고 마시자." 하는구나.
  4. 만군의 야훼께서 나의 귀에 일러주셨다. "이 죄는 너희가 죽기까지 결코 용서받지 못한다. 이는 주, 만군의 야훼가 하는 말이다."
  5. 주, 만군의 야훼께서 말씀하셨다. "너는 궁중의 일을 감독하는 시종장 셉나에게 가서 말하여라.
  1. And you made a reservoir between the two walls For the waters of the old pool. But you did not depend on Him who made it, Nor did you take into consideration Him who planned it long ago.
  2. Therefore in that day the Lord GOD of hosts called you to weeping, to wailing, To shaving the head and to wearing sackcloth.
  3. Instead, there is gaiety and gladness, Killing of cattle and slaughtering of sheep, Eating of meat and drinking of wine: "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we may die."
  4. But the LORD of hosts revealed Himself to me, "Surely this iniquity shall not be forgiven you Until you die," says the Lord GOD of hosts.
  5. Thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, "Come, go to this steward, To Shebna, who is in charge of the royal household,
  1. 높은 곳 바위에 제 무덤자리를 파고 저 누울 자리를 만드는 그에게 가서 말하여라. '너는 이 곳에 무슨 상속권이 있느냐? 누가 너에게 이 땅을 물려주었느냐? 어찌하여 네가 여기에다 스스로 누울 무덤을 파느냐?
  2. 야훼가 너를 내던지리라. 너를 휘어잡아 내동댕이치리라.
  3. 넓은 벌판으로 데굴데굴 공처럼 굴려보내리니 거기에서 너는 죽으리라. 네가 타던 화려한 마차도 그 곳으로 끌려가리니 너는 네가 섬기던 왕가의 치욕이 되리라.
  4. 내가 너를 파면시키고 그 자리에서 끌어내리리라.
  5. 그 날 내가 나의 종 힐키야의 아들 엘리아킴을 불러
  1. 'What right do you have here, And whom do you have here, That you have hewn a tomb for yourself here, You who hew a tomb on the height, You who carve a resting place for yourself in the rock?
  2. 'Behold, the LORD is about to hurl you headlong, O man. And He is about to grasp you firmly
  3. And roll you tightly like a ball, To be cast into a vast country; There you will die And there your splendid chariots will be, You shame of your master's house.'
  4. "I will depose you from your office, And I will pull you down from your station.
  5. "Then it will come about in that day, That I will summon My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
  1. 네가 입던 관복을 입히고 네가 띠던 관대를 띠게 하고 너의 권리를 그의 손에 넘겨주리니 그가 예루살렘 주민과 유다 가문의 어른이 되리라.
  2. 내가 또한 다윗의 집 열쇠를 그의 어깨에 메어주리니 그가 열면 닫을 사람이 없고 닫으면 열 사람이 없으리라.
  3. 말뚝을 단단한 곳에 박듯이 그의 지위를 굳건하게 해주리니 그의 지위가 그의 가문을 빛내리라.
  4. 그의 가문의 모든 영광이 그에게 걸려 있다. 접시그릇에서 병그릇에 이르기까지 모든 작은 그릇과 같은 그의 자손과 후예가 모두 그에게 매달려 살리라.
  5. 만군의 야훼가 말한다. 그 날 단단한 곳에 박아둔 말뚝은 빠지고 부러져 쓰러지리니, 그 위에 걸어둔 것들이 모두 깨지리라.'" 이는 야훼께서 하신 말씀이다.
  1. And I will clothe him with your tunic And tie your sash securely about him. I will entrust him with your authority, And he will become a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.
  2. "Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open.
  3. "I will drive him like a peg in a firm place, And he will become a throne of glory to his father's house.
  4. "So they will hang on him all the glory of his father's house, offspring and issue, all the least of vessels, from bowls to all the jars.
  5. "In that day," declares the LORD of hosts, "the peg driven in a firm place will give way; it will even break off and fall, and the load hanging on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken."
