예레미야 22:1-23:32

 하나님께서는 유다 말기 왕들인 여호아하스, 여호야김, 여호야긴이 하나님의 말씀을 떠나 악행을 저질러 심판받게 되었다고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 하나님께서 불의한 목자들을 폐하시고 다윗 왕가를 통해 의로운 목자를 세우실 것과 범죄한 유다의 거짓 선지자들이 재앙을 받게 될 것을 선포하셨다.
  
  악한 왕들의 심판(22:1-22:30)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "유다 왕궁으로 내려가 이 말을 전하여라.
  2. '다윗의 옥좌에 앉은 유다의 왕이여, 나 야훼의 말을 들어라. 이 성의 문들을 드나드는 뭇 신하와 백성도 함께 들어라.
  3. 이 야훼가 말하지 않더냐? 법과 정의를 실천하고, 억울하게 착취당하는 사람들을 건져주며, 더부살이와 고아와 과부를 괴롭히거나 학대하지 말고 이 곳에서 죄없는 사람을 죽여 피를 흘리지 말라고.
  4. 이대로 성심껏 따르기만 하면, 다윗 왕위에 오르는 왕들은 신하와 백성을 거느리고 병거와 군마를 타고 이 궁궐 대문을 드나들 수 있을 것이라고.
  5. 그러나 이 말대로 하지 않으면, 분명히 말하는데, 이 궁궐을 내가 맹세코 돌무더기로 만들겠다고 하지 않더냐? 그런데 너희는 그렇게 하지 못했다.
  1. Thus says the LORD, "Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and there speak this word
  2. and say, 'Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, who sits on David's throne, you and your servants and your people who enter these gates.
  3. 'Thus says the LORD, "Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one who has been robbed from the power of his oppressor Also do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan, or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place.
  4. "For if you men will indeed perform this thing, then kings will enter the gates of this house, sitting in David's place on his throne, riding in chariots and on horses, even the king himself and his servants and his people.
  5. "But if you will not obey these words, I swear by Myself," declares the LORD, "that this house will become a desolation."'"
  1. 그래서 나 야훼는 유다 왕실을 이렇게 하기로 하였다. 너는 나에게 길르앗 같고 레바논 봉우리 같았으나, 나 이제 너를 사막으로 만들고 사람의 그림자도 비치지 않는 성으로 만들리라.
  2. 너를 짓부술 사명을 주어 사람들을 보내리니, 그들은 저마다 도끼를 들고 보기 좋은 너의 송백 기둥을 찍어 불에 넣을 것이다.
  3. 뭇 민족이 이 도읍을 지나가며 이야기를 주고받으리라. 야훼께서는 어찌하여 이 큰 도읍을 이 꼴로 만드셨을까, 하고 물으면,
  4. 이 백성이 저희 하느님 야훼와 맺은 계약을 저버리고 다른 신들을 예배하며 섬겼기 때문이지, 하고 대답하리라.'"
  5. "세상을 하직하신 어른이 불쌍하다 울지 말고 붙잡혀 가신 어른을 생각하고 실컷 울어라. 다시 돌아와 고향을 보지 못하시리라."
  1. For thus says the LORD concerning the house of the king of Judah: "You are like Gilead to Me, Like the summit of Lebanon; Yet most assuredly I will make you like a wilderness, Like cities which are not inhabited.
  2. "For I will set apart destroyers against you, Each with his weapons; And they will cut down your choicest cedars And throw them on the fire.
  3. "Many nations will pass by this city; and they will say to one another, 'Why has the LORD done thus to this great city?'
  4. "Then they will answer, 'Because they forsook the covenant of the LORD their God and bowed down to other gods and served them.'"
  5. Do not weep for the dead or mourn for him, But weep continually for the one who goes away; For he will never return Or see his native land.
  1. 야훼께서 요시야의 아들 살룸이 부왕 요시야의 대를 이어 유다 왕이 되었다가 이 고장을 떠난 일을 두고 말씀하셨다. "그는 이 곳으로 다시는 돌아오지 못하리라.
  2. 사로잡혀 간 그 땅에서 죽어야 하고, 다시는 이 땅을 보지 못하리라."
  3. "부정한 수법으로 제 집을 짓고 사취한 돈으로 제 누각을 짓는 이 몹쓸 놈아! 동족에게 일을 시키고, 품값을 주지 않다니!
  4. '집을 널찍이 지어야지, 누각을 시원하게 꾸며야지.' 하며, 창살문은 최고급 송백나무로 내고 요란하게 단청까지 칠하였다만,
  5. 누구에게 질세라 송백나무를 쓰면 그것으로 왕노릇 다 하는 것 같으냐? 너의 아비는 법과 정의를 펴면서도 먹고 마실 것 아쉽지 않게 잘살지 않았느냐?
  1. For thus says the LORD in regard to Shallum the son of Josiah, king of Judah, who became king in the place of Josiah his father, who went forth from this place, "He will never return there;
  2. but in the place where they led him captive, there he will die and not see this land again.
  3. "Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness And his upper rooms without justice, Who uses his neighbor's services without pay And does not give him his wages,
  4. Who says, 'I will build myself a roomy house With spacious upper rooms, And cut out its windows, Paneling it with cedar and painting it bright red.'
  5. "Do you become a king because you are competing in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink And do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
  1. 가난한 자의 인권을 세워주면서도 잘살기만 하지 않았느냐? 그것이 바로 나를 안다는 것이다. 내가 똑똑히 말한다.
  2. 그런데 너는 돈 욕심밖에 없구나. 죄없는 사람의 피를 흘리려고 눈을 부릅뜨고 백성을 억누르고 들볶을 생각뿐이구나."
  3. 야훼께서 유다 왕이 된, 요시야의 아들 여호야킴의 신세를 두고 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "'가엾어라 우리 형님, 가엾어라 우리 누님.' 이렇게 애곡할 사람이 없으리라. '불쌍하셔라 우리 임금님, 불쌍하셔라 우리 왕후님.' 이렇게 애곡할 사람이 없으리라.
  4. 죽은 나귀를 치우듯이 끌어내다 묻으리라. 예루살렘 성 문 밖 멀리 끌어내다 던지리라.
  5. 예루살렘 시민들아, 레바논 산에 올라가 울어라. 바산 지방에 가서 대성통곡하여라. 아바림 산에 올라가서 내려다보며 울어라. 너희의 동맹국들은 모두 망하였다.
  1. "He pled the cause of the afflicted and needy; Then it was well Is not that what it means to know Me?" Declares the LORD.
  2. "But your eyes and your heart Are intent only upon your own dishonest gain, And on shedding innocent blood And on practicing oppression and extortion."
  3. Therefore thus says the LORD in regard to Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, "They will not lament for him: 'Alas, my brother!' or, 'Alas, sister!' They will not lament for him: 'Alas for the master!' or, 'Alas for his splendor!'
  4. "He will be buried with a donkey's burial, Dragged off and thrown out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
  5. "Go up to Lebanon and cry out, And lift up your voice in Bashan; Cry out also from Abarim, For all your lovers have been crushed.
  1. 너희가 잘살 때에 내가 경고를 하였는데도 너희는 들으려 하지도 않았다. 어렸을 때 버릇을 버리지 못하고 기어이 내 말을 듣지 않았다.
  2. 너희의 지도자들은 모두 바람에 끌려다니고 동맹국 국민은 사로잡혀 가리라. 그렇게도 나쁘게 굴었으니 결국 부끄럽고 창피한 꼴을 당하게 되었다.
  3. 지금은 레바논 위에 자리잡은 듯하며 송백나무 사이의 보금자리에 깃들인 듯하지만 몸푸는 여인의 아픔 같은 괴로움이 들이닥치면 너희의 한숨 소리에 땅이 꺼지리라.
  4. 내가 분명히 말한다. 유다 왕 여호야긴아, 내가 너를 오른손에 낀 옥새가락지처럼 여겨왔지만, 기어이 너를 빼내어,
  5. 너를 죽이려고 벼르는 사람들에게 내주겠다. 네가 그렇게도 무서워하는 바빌론 왕 느부갓네살의 군에게 넘겨주겠다.
  1. "I spoke to you in your prosperity; But you said, 'I will not listen!' This has been your practice from your youth, That you have not obeyed My voice.
  2. "The wind will sweep away all your shepherds, And your lovers will go into captivity; Then you will surely be ashamed and humiliated Because of all your wickedness.
  3. "You who dwell in Lebanon, Nested in the cedars, How you will groan when pangs come upon you, Pain like a woman in childbirth!
  4. "As I live," declares the LORD, "even though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were a signet ring on My right hand, yet I would pull you off;
  5. and I will give you over into the hand of those who are seeking your life, yes, into the hand of those whom you dread, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
  1. 너는 친어미와 함께 여기에서 몰리어 낯선 이국 땅에 가서 죽으리라.
  2. 아무리 고향에 돌아오고 싶어도 돌아오지 못하는 신세가 되리라."
  3. 이분 여호야긴이 아무도 거들떠보지 않는 질그릇이 되다니? 쓸모없이 깨어진 옹기그릇이 되다니? 자식과 함께 밀려나 낯선 땅으로 쫓기는 신세가 되다니?
  4. 땅은 들어라. 땅은 들어라. 땅은 야훼의 말씀을 들어라.
  5. "나 야훼가 말한다. 이 사람은 후사가 없으리라고 기록하여라. 한평생 좋은 일을 보지 못할 사람, 다윗의 왕위에 올라 영화를 누리며 유다 나라를 다스릴 후손이 그에게서 끊기리라."
  1. "I will hurl you and your mother who bore you into another country where you were not born, and there you will die.
  2. "But as for the land to which they desire to return, they will not return to it.
  3. "Is this man Coniah a despised, shattered jar? Or is he an undesirable vessel? Why have he and his descendants been hurled out And cast into a land that they had not known?
  4. "O land, land, land, Hear the word of the LORD!
  5. "Thus says the LORD, 'Write this man down childless, A man who will not prosper in his days; For no man of his descendants will prosper Sitting on the throne of David Or ruling again in Judah.'"
 
  메시아와 거짓 선지자들(23:1-23:32)    
 
  1. "이 저주받을 것들아, 양떼를 죽이고 흩뜨려버리는 목자라는 것들아, 야훼의 말을 들어라.
  2. 내 백성을 칠 목자들에게 이스라엘의 하느님으로서 말한다. 내 양떼를 돌보아야 할 너희가 도리어 흩뜨려서 헤매게 하니, 너희의 그 괘씸한 소행을 어찌 벌하지 않고 두겠느냐! 똑똑히 들어라.
  3. 나 비록 나의 양떼를 이 나라 저 나라로 헤매게 하였지만, 그 중에서 살아 남은 것을 모든 나라에서 본래의 목장으로 다시 모아들여 크게 불어나게 할 것이며,
  4. 그들을 위하여 참 목자들을 세워주리라. 그러면 내 양떼는 겁이 나서 무서워 떠는 일 없이 살 것이며, 하나도 잃어버리지 아니하리라. 이는 내 말이라, 어김이 없다.
  5. 내가 다윗의 정통 왕손을 일으킬 그 날은 오고야 만다. 이는 내 말이라, 어김이 없다. 그는 현명한 왕으로서 세상에 올바른 정치를 펴리라.
  1. "Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!" declares the LORD.
  2. Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: "You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds," declares the LORD.
  3. "Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply.
  4. "I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD.
  5. "Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.
  1. 그를 왕으로 모시고 유다와 이스라엘은 살 길이 열려 마음놓고 살게 되리라. '야훼 우리를 되살려주시는 이'라는 이름으로 그를 부르리라.
  2. 그러므로 장차 이런 날이 올 것이다. 내가 똑똑히 일러둔다. 그 날이 오면 이스라엘 가문의 자손들은 맹세할 때에 자기들을 이집트에서 데려내온 야훼를 불러 맹세하지 않고
  3. 저희 이스라엘 후손들이 쫓겨가 있던 북녘 땅과 그 밖의 모든 나라에서 데려온 이 야훼를 두고 맹세하게 될 것이다. 나는 이 백성을 고향으로 되돌아오게 하고야 말리라."
  4. 예언자들아, 들어라. 나의 염통이 터지고 뼈 마디 마디가 떨리는구나. 술 취한 사람같이 되었다. 술에 곯아떨어진 사내같이 되었다. 야훼의 거룩한 말씀을 듣고 그분 앞에서 술에 곯아떨어진 사람같이 되었다.
  5. "이 나라에는 들끓느니 간음하는 것들뿐, 이런 자들 때문에 땅은 마르고 광야에 있는 목장은 타버린다. 못된 짓이나 하러 쫓아다니며 있는 힘을 모두 버리는구나.
  1. "In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, 'The LORD our righteousness.'
  2. "Therefore behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when they will no longer say, 'As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt,'
  3. but, 'As the LORD lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.' Then they will live on their own soil."
  4. As for the prophets: My heart is broken within me, All my bones tremble; I have become like a drunken man, Even like a man overcome with wine, Because of the LORD And because of His holy words.
  5. For the land is full of adulterers; For the land mourns because of the curse The pastures of the wilderness have dried up. Their course also is evil And their might is not right.
  1. 예언자도 사제도 썩어빠져서 내 집에서 못된 짓이나 꾸미고들 있다. 똑똑히 들어라.
  2. 그들은 캄캄하고 미끄러운 길에 들어섰다가 떠밀려 넘어지고 말리라. 내가 해를 정해 두었다가 재앙을 퍼부어 벌하리라. 이는 내 말이라, 어김이 없다.
  3. 나는 보았다. 사마리아 예언자들의 어리석은 짓을! 바알을 불러 예언하면서 내 백성 이스라엘을 그릇 인도하였다.
  4. 나는 보았다. 예루살렘 예언자들의 망측한 짓을! 간음하며 헛소리를 따라가고 못된 것들 편이 되어주며 잘못을 뉘우치는 사람 하나 없어, 내 눈에는 모두 소돔같이만 보인다. 그 시민이 모두 고모라 주민같이만 보인다.
  5. 이 예언자들을 어찌 할 것인지 나 만군의 야훼가 말한다. '예루살렘 예언자들이 썩어, 온 나라도 따라서 다 썩었다. 이제 그것들에게 소태를 먹이고 독약을 마시게 하리라.'
  1. "For both prophet and priest are polluted; Even in My house I have found their wickedness," declares the LORD.
  2. "Therefore their way will be like slippery paths to them, They will be driven away into the gloom and fall down in it; For I will bring calamity upon them, The year of their punishment," declares the LORD.
  3. "Moreover, among the prophets of Samaria I saw an offensive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led My people Israel astray.
  4. "Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: The committing of adultery and walking in falsehood; And they strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one has turned back from his wickedness All of them have become to Me like Sodom, And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.
  5. "Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets, 'Behold, I am going to feed them wormwood And make them drink poisonous water, For from the prophets of Jerusalem Pollution has gone forth into all the land.'"
  1. 나 만군의 야훼가 말한다. '내 말이라 하고 전하는 이 예언자들의 말을 듣지 마라. 그들은 내 말을 들은 적이 없는 것들이다. 제 속에 떠오르는 생각을 말하면서 너희를 속이는 것들이다.
  2. 내 말을 듣기 싫어하는 자들에게는 잘되어 간다고만 하고, 제멋대로 사는 자들에게도 재앙이 내릴 리 없다고 한다.'"
  3. 그들 가운데서 누가 야훼의 회의에 참석하여 친히 뵈옵고 말씀을 들었느냐? 누가 그의 말씀을 귀담아들었느냐?
  4. 야훼의 분노가 폭풍처럼 터져 나온다. 태풍처럼 악인들의 머리 위를 휘몰아친다.
  5. 마음대로 다 하신 다음에야 야훼의 분노는 가라앉을 것이다. 훗날 그 때가 되어야 너희는 눈이 열려 깨달을 것이다.
  1. Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you They are leading you into futility; They speak a vision of their own imagination, Not from the mouth of the LORD.
  2. "They keep saying to those who despise Me, 'The LORD has said, "You will have peace"'; And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, They say, 'Calamity will not come upon you.'
  3. "But who has stood in the council of the LORD, That he should see and hear His word? Who has given heed to His word and listened?
  4. "Behold, the storm of the LORD has gone forth in wrath, Even a whirling tempest; It will swirl down on the head of the wicked.
  5. "The anger of the LORD will not turn back Until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart; In the last days you will clearly understand it.
  1. "내가 보낸 적이 없는데 그 예언자라는 것이 튀어 나갔다. 내가 일러준 적도 없는데 내 말이라 하면서 전하였다.
  2. 나의 회의에 참석하였더라면 내 말을 내 백성에게 전할 수 있었으리라. 악한 길을 떠나게 할 수 있었으리라. 악한 소행을 고치게 할 수 있었으리라.
  3. 내 말을 똑똑히 들어라. 내가 가까운 곳에만 있고 먼 곳에는 없는 신인 줄 아느냐?
  4. 사람이 제아무리 숨어도 내 눈에서 벗어날 길은 없다. 똑똑히 들어라. 하늘과 땅 어디를 가나 내가 없는 곳은 없다. 똑똑히 들어라.
  5. 예언자라는 것들이 내 이름을 팔아 예언하는 소리를 나는 다 들었다. '꿈을 꾸었다, 꿈을 꾸었다.'고 하면서 거짓말하는 것도 나는 들었다.
  1. "I did not send these prophets, But they ran. I did not speak to them, But they prophesied.
  2. "But if they had stood in My council, Then they would have announced My words to My people, And would have turned them back from their evil way And from the evil of their deeds.
  3. "Am I a God who is near," declares the LORD, "And not a God far off?
  4. "Can a man hide himself in hiding places So I do not see him?" declares the LORD "Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?" declares the LORD.
  5. "I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsely in My name, saying, 'I had a dream, I had a dream!'
  1. 제 망상을 내 말이라고 전하는 이 거짓 예언자들이 언제까지 제 마음에 떠오른 생각을 내 말이라고 전할 것인가?
  2. 이 예언자라는 것들은 꿈 이야기를 주고 받으면서 내 백성을 속여 내 이름을 잊게 할 속셈이다. 그 조상들도 바알을 섬기다가 내 이름을 잊지 않았더냐?
  3. 꿈이나 꾸는 예언자는 꿈 이야기나 하여라. 그러나 내 말을 받은 예언자는 내 말을 성실하게 전하여라. 내가 똑똑히 말한다. 검불과 밀알을 어찌 비교하겠느냐?
  4. 내 말은 정녕 불같이 타오른다. 망치처럼 바위라도 부순다. 똑똑히 들어라.
  5. 내가 똑똑히 일러둔다. 이런 예언자들이 서로 내 말을 남의 입에서 훔쳐다가 떠벌이는데, 결코 그냥 두지 않으리라.
  1. "How long? Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, even these prophets of the deception of their own heart,
  2. who intend to make My people forget My name by their dreams which they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal?
  3. "The prophet who has a dream may relate his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word in truth What does straw have in common with grain?" declares the LORD.
  4. "Is not My word like fire?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer which shatters a rock?
  5. "Therefore behold, I am against the prophets," declares the LORD, "who steal My words from each other.
  1. 내가 똑똑히 일러둔다. 이런 예언자들이 내 말을 한답시고 혀를 놀리는데, 결코 그냥 두지 않으리라.
  2. 내가 똑똑히 일러둔다. 이런 예언자들이 개꿈을 꾸고 거짓말로 허풍을 떨어가며 해몽을 하여 나의 백성을 속이는데, 결코 그냥 두지 않으리라. 나는 그런 말을 하라고 그것들을 보낸 적이 없다. 그것들은 이 백성에게 백해무익한 자들이다. 똑똑히 들어라.
  1. "Behold, I am against the prophets," declares the LORD, "who use their tongues and declare, 'The Lord declares.'
  2. "Behold, I am against those who have prophesied false dreams," declares the LORD, "and related them and led My people astray by their falsehoods and reckless boasting; yet I did not send them or command them, nor do they furnish this people the slightest benefit," declares the LORD.

  의로운 가지( 23:5)  장차 다윗의 왕위를 계승할 의로운 통치자이신 그리스도를 상징함
