에스겔 4:1-6:14

 하나님께서는 에스겔의 상징적 행동을 통해 예루살렘에 임할 임박한 심판의 상황을 미리 보여 주셨다. 그것은 백성들의 죄로 인해 예루살렘이 바벨론 군대에 의해 포위당하고 그 성에 온역과 전쟁과 기근이 임하며 이스라엘 온 땅이 우상 숭배로 파멸된다는 것이었다. 그러나 포로로 잡혀간 백성들 중 남은 자는 회개할 것임을 말씀하셨다.
  
  예루살렘의 멸망을 상징하는 예언적 행동(4:1-5:17)    
 
  1. 너 사람아, 흙벽돌을 집어다 앞에 놓고 그 위에 예루살렘 지도를 파 새겨라.
  2. 그리고 그 바깥에 포위망을 새겨라. 또 감시탑을 세우고 옆에 돌더미로 축대를 쌓고 진을 둘러 치고 성벽을 허무는 쇳덩이를 사방에 늘어놓아라.
  3. 또 석쇠를 가져다가 너와 그 도시 사이에 둘러 쳐서 쇠로 된 성벽으로 삼고 거기에서 눈을 떼지 마라. 그렇게 예루살렘을 포위하고 포위망을 좁혀라. 그것으로 예루살렘이 어찌 될지를 이스라엘 족속에게 보여주어라.
  4. 너는 왼쪽 옆구리를 땅에 대고 누워라. 내가 네 몸에 이스라엘 족속의 죄를 메우는 것이니, 네가 그렇게 누워 있는 날수만큼 그들은 죄를 받는 것이다.
  5. 나는 너에게 이스라엘 족속의 죄를 백구십 일 동안 지운다. 그 하루는 그들이 벌받을 한 해와 맞먹는 것이다.
  1. "Now you son of man, get yourself a brick, place it before you and inscribe a city on it, Jerusalem.
  2. "Then lay siege against it, build a siege wall, raise up a ramp, pitch camps and place battering rams against it all around.
  3. "Then get yourself an iron plate and set it up as an iron wall between you and the city, and set your face toward it so that it is under siege, and besiege it This is a sign to the house of Israel.
  4. "As for you, lie down on your left side and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; you shall bear their iniquity for the number of days that you lie on it.
  5. "For I have assigned you a number of days corresponding to the years of their iniquity, three hundred and ninety days; thus you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
  1. 그 날수를 채운 다음 이번에는 오른쪽 옆구리를 땅에 대고 누워 유다 족속의 죄를 받아라. 하루를 한 해씩으로 쳐서 사십 일 동안 받아라.
  2. 너는 포위된 예루살렘에서 눈을 떼지 말고 팔을 걷어붙이고, 예루살렘은 망한다고 예언하여라.
  3. 나는 너를 사슬로 묶어놓으리라. 그래서 네가 갇혀 있을 기한이 다 차기 전에는 옆구리를 이쪽 저쪽으로 뒤쳐 눕지 못하게 하리라.
  4. 네가 한쪽 옆구리를 땅에 대고 백구십 일 동안 누워 있으면서 먹을 빵은 밀, 보리, 잠두, 제비콩, 조, 쌀보리를 섞어서 만들어야 한다.
  5. 너는 그 음식을 저울로 달아 하루에 이십 세겔씩 시간을 정해 놓고 먹어라.
  1. "When you have completed these, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah; I have assigned it to you for forty days, a day for each year.
  2. "Then you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem with your arm bared and prophesy against it.
  3. "Now behold, I will put ropes on you so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have completed the days of your siege.
  4. "But as for you, take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt, put them in one vessel and make them into bread for yourself; you shall eat it according to the number of the days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days.
  5. "Your food which you eat shall be twenty shekels a day by weight; you shall eat it from time to time.
  1. 물도 되어서 마시는데 하루에 마실 분량은 육분의 일 힌이다. 그것도 시간을 정해 놓고 마셔라.
  2. 보리과자를 굽듯이 빵을 굽는데 사람들이 보는 데서 인분으로 불을 피우고 거기에다 구워 먹어라.
  3. 그리고 내 말을 전하여라. '야훼께서 이스라엘 백성을 다른 민족 가운데로 쫓아보내실 것이며 너희는 거기에서 이렇게 부정한 빵을 먹게 되리라.'"
  4. 그러나 나는 이렇게 아뢰었다. "아! 주 야훼여, 저는 아직까지 부정을 타본 일이 없습니다. 어려서부터 이제까지 절로 죽은 짐승이나 찢긴 짐승을 먹은 적이 없습니다. 부정한 살코기를 입에 넣어본 적도 없습니다."
  5. 그분이 말씀하셨다. "좋다! 그렇다면 인분 대신, 쇠똥을 피워 빵을 구워라." 이렇게 허락을 내리시고
  1. "The water you drink shall be the sixth part of a hin by measure; you shall drink it from time to time.
  2. "You shall eat it as a barley cake, having baked it in their sight over human dung."
  3. Then the LORD said, "Thus will the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations where I will banish them."
  4. But I said, "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I have never been defiled; for from my youth until now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has any unclean meat ever entered my mouth."
  5. Then He said to me, "See, I will give you cow's dung in place of human dung over which you will prepare your bread."
  1. 그분은 나에게 말씀하셨다. "너 사람아, 예루살렘에 사는 자들은 밥줄이 끊어져 빵을 달아서 먹으며 걱정이 태산 같고 물을 되어서 마시면서 간이 콩알만하게 될 것이다.
  2. 빵과 물이 떨어져, 모두들 제 죗값으로 뼈와 가죽만 남았다가 말라죽을 것이다.
  1. Moreover, He said to me, "Son of man, behold, I am going to break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they will eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and drink water by measure and in horror,
  2. because bread and water will be scarce; and they will be appalled with one another and waste away in their iniquity.
 
 
  1. 너 사람아, 너는 이발사의 면도칼처럼 날선 칼로 네 머리와 수염을 밀어라. 그리고 그것을 저울에 달아 나누어가지고
  2. 포위가 끝나는 날, 삼분의 일은 성 안에서 불에 사르고 삼분의 일은 성 밖을 돌면서 칼로 짓이기고 나머지 삼분의 일은 바람에 날려라. 내가 칼을 빼들고 그것을 뒤쫓으리라.
  3. 그리고 조금 남겼다가 그것을 두루마기 단에 매두어라.
  4. 그 중 더러는 불속에 넣어 살라라. 거기에서 불이 번질 것이다. 너는 이스라엘 온 가문에 일러라.
  5. '주 야훼가 말한다. 내가 예루살렘을 뭇 나라에 둘러싸여 뭇 민족들 한가운데 자리잡게 했건만, 예루살렘은
  1. "As for you, son of man, take a sharp sword; take and use it as a barber's razor on your head and beard Then take scales for weighing and divide the hair.
  2. "One third you shall burn in the fire at the center of the city, when the days of the siege are completed Then you shall take one third and strike it with the sword all around the city, and one third you shall scatter to the wind; and I will unsheathe a sword behind them.
  3. "Take also a few in number from them and bind them in the edges of your robes.
  4. "Take again some of them and throw them into the fire and burn them in the fire; from it a fire will spread to all the house of Israel.
  5. "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'This is Jerusalem; I have set her at the center of the nations, with lands around her.
  1. 뭇 민족들보다 더 악하게 나의 법을 거스르고, 주위에 있는 뭇 나라보다 나의 규정을 더 거슬렀다. 내 법을 어기고 내 규정을 따르지 않았다.
  2. 그래서 이 주 야훼가 말한다. 너희는 주위에 있는 민족들보다 더 나에게 반항하여 내 규정을 따르지 않고, 내 법대로 살지 못한 것은 물론이려니와 주위에 있는 다른 민족들이 지키는 법마저도 지키지 않았다.
  3. 그래서 나 주 야훼가 말한다. 보아라, 나도 너희에게 원수가 되어 뭇 민족이 보는 앞에서 너희에게 벌을 내리리라.
  4. 너희는 내가 역겹게 여기는 일만 골라서 했다. 그러므로 내가 전에도 없었고 앞으로도 없을 벌을 내리리니,
  5. 너희 가운데 아비가 제 자식들을 잡아먹고 자식들이 제 아비를 잡아먹게 될 것이다. 나는 이렇게 너희에게 벌을 내리리라. 그리고도 남은 자는 모두 사방으로 흩어버리리라.
  1. 'But she has rebelled against My ordinances more wickedly than the nations and against My statutes more than the lands which surround her; for they have rejected My ordinances and have not walked in My statutes.'
  2. "Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, 'Because you have more turmoil than the nations which surround you and have not walked in My statutes, nor observed My ordinances, nor observed the ordinances of the nations which surround you,'
  3. therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I, even I, am against you, and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations.
  4. 'And because of all your abominations, I will do among you what I have not done, and the like of which I will never do again.
  5. 'Therefore, fathers will eat their sons among you, and sons will eat their fathers; for I will execute judgments on you and scatter all your remnant to every wind.
  1. 내가 맹세한다. 너희가 온갖 구역질나는 우상, 보기에도 역겨운 신상들을 만들어놓아 나의 성소를 더럽혔으니 나도 아낌없이 너희를 내버리리라. 조금도 불쌍히 여기지 아니하리라. 이 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.
  2. 너희 가운데 삼분의 일은 성 안에서 염병으로 죽든지 굶어 죽을 것이요, 삼분의 일은 성 밖에서 칼에 맞아 쓰러질 것이다. 나머지 삼분의 일은 내가 사방으로 흩어버리고 칼을 빼들고 뒤쫓으리라.
  3. 이 백성이 하는 짓이 너무나도 노여워 내 분이 풀리기까지 벌을 내리리니, 이 백성은 자기들이 한 짓 때문에 나에게 벌을 받고 나서야 나 야훼가 왜 이렇게 질투하는 말을 했는지 알게 될 것이다.
  4. 나는 너희뿐 아니라 너희에게 딸린 모든 성읍들도 폐허로 만들리라. 그러면 지나가는 모든 사람이 보고 손가락질할 것이다.
  5. 나는 너무나도 노엽고 화가 치밀어 너 예루살렘을 심하게 벌하리니, 주위에 있는 민족들이 손가락질하며 너희를 비웃으리라. 그들이 네 처참한 꼴을 보고 교훈을 삼으리라. 이는 정녕 나 야훼가 하는 말이다.
  1. 'So as I live,' declares the Lord GOD, 'surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable idols and with all your abominations, therefore I will also withdraw, and My eye will have no pity and I will not spare.
  2. 'One third of you will die by plague or be consumed by famine among you, one third will fall by the sword around you, and one third I will scatter to every wind, and I will unsheathe a sword behind them.
  3. 'Thus My anger will be spent and I will satisfy My wrath on them, and I will be appeased; then they will know that I, the LORD, have spoken in My zeal when I have spent My wrath upon them.
  4. 'Moreover, I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations which surround you, in the sight of all who pass by.
  5. 'So it will be a reproach, a reviling, a warning and an object of horror to the nations who surround you when I execute judgments against you in anger, wrath and raging rebukes. I, the LORD, have spoken.
  1. 나는 너희에게 극심한 한재를 내려 화살에 맞은 사람들처럼 죽어가게 하리라. 이것은 너희를 죽이려고 보내는 것이다. 한재를 내리고 또 내려 너희의 밥줄을 끊어버리리라.
  2. 나는 너희에게 한재를 내릴 뿐 아니라 맹수도 보내어 너희 자식을 잡아먹게 하겠다. 또 염병이 휩쓸고 피 흘리는 싸움이 터지게 할 것이다. 내가 너희에게 적군을 붙여주리라. 정녕 나 야훼가 하는 말이다.'"
  1. 'When I send against them the deadly arrows of famine which were for the destruction of those whom I will send to destroy you, then I will also intensify the famine upon you and break the staff of bread.
  2. 'Moreover, I will send on you famine and wild beasts, and they will bereave you of children; plague and bloodshed also will pass through you, and I will bring the sword on you. I, the LORD, have spoken.'"
 
  우상 숭배에 대한 심판(6:1-6:14)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 나에게 말씀을 내리셨다.
  2. "너 사람아, 너는 이스라엘의 산들에게 나의 심판을 전하여라.
  3. 이렇게 말하여라. '이스라엘의 산들아, 주 야훼의 말을 들어라. 이 주 야훼가 이 산 저 산, 이 언덕 저 언덕, 이 골짜기 저 골짜기에게 하는 말이다. 나 이제 너희에게 적군을 붙여 너희의 산당을 없애버리리라.
  4. 너희 제단들은 쑥밭이 되고 너희가 섬기던 석상들은 산산이 부서질 것이다. 너희는 칼에 맞아 너희 우상들 앞에 넘어질 것이다.
  5. 이스라엘 백성의 주검이 너희가 섬기던 우상들 앞에 내던져지고, 너희의 뼈가 제단 주위에 흩어질 것이다.
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them
  3. and say, 'Mountains of Israel, listen to the word of the Lord GOD! Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, the hills, the ravines and the valleys: "Behold, I Myself am going to bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places.
  4. "So your altars will become desolate and your incense altars will be smashed; and I will make your slain fall in front of your idols.
  5. "I will also lay the dead bodies of the sons of Israel in front of their idols; and I will scatter your bones around your altars.
  1. 너희가 사는 도시들은 폐허가 되고 산당들은 쑥밭이 되리라. 제단들은 헐려 쑥밭이 되고 우상들은 깨져 없어지고 분향단은 산산조각이 날 것이다. 이렇게 너희가 만든 모든 것이 쓸려가고
  2. 너희 가운데서 사람들이 칼에 맞아 쓰러지는 것을 보고서야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알게 될 것이다.
  3. 나는 너희 중 얼마를 남겨 전화를 모면하게 하고 여러 민족 여러 나라에 흩어져 있게 하리라.
  4. 이 전화를 모면한 사람들은 포로로 끌려가 뭇 민족들 틈에 끼여살면서 나를 생각할 것이다. 나를 배반하고 간음하던 그 마음을 나는 부수리라. 우상들을 쫓아다니며 간음하던 그 눈을 뽑아버리리라. 그들도 그 더러운 짓을 하며 범한 고약한 일들이 하나 하나 역겨워질 것이다.
  5. 그제야 내가 야훼임을 알게 될 것이다. 내가 이런 재앙을 내리겠다고 말한 것이 빈말이 아니었음을 알게 될 것이다.
  1. "In all your dwellings, cities will become waste and the high places will be desolate, that your altars may become waste and desolate, your idols may be broken and brought to an end, your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be blotted out.
  2. "The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am the LORD.
  3. "However, I will leave a remnant, for you will have those who escaped the sword among the nations when you are scattered among the countries.
  4. "Then those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations to which they will be carried captive, how I have been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes which played the harlot after their idols; and they will loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed, for all their abominations.
  5. "Then they will know that I am the LORD; I have not said in vain that I would inflict this disaster on them."'
  1. 이 주 야훼가 말한다. 너희는 가슴을 치고 발을 구르며 외쳐라. - 아, 이스라엘 가문이 저지른 온갖 흉악하고 발칙한 죄 때문에 전쟁이 터지고 한재가 나고 염병이 번져 사람들이 마구 쓰러지겠구나.
  2. 멀리 있는 자는 염병에 죽겠고, 가까이 있는 자는 칼에 맞아 쓰러지겠고, 성 안으로 피해 들어온 자는 굶어 죽겠구나. 그제야 치밀었던 내 노여움이 풀리리라.
  3. 높은 언덕과 산봉우리와 우거진 참나무를 비롯하여 무성한 온갖 나무 밑에서 모든 우상들에게 분향하다가, 거기에서 칼에 찔려 우상들이 서 있는 제단 둘레에 쓰러지게 되어야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알 것이다.
  4. 그들이 어디에서 살든지 나는 손을 뻗쳐 그 땅을 리블라에 이르는 사막보다 더 황량하게 만들리라. 그제야 사람들은 내가 야훼임을 알 것이다.'"
  1. "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'Clap your hand, stamp your foot and say, "Alas, because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, which will fall by sword, famine and plague!
  2. "He who is far off will die by the plague, and he who is near will fall by the sword, and he who remains and is besieged will die by the famine Thus will I spend My wrath on them.
  3. "Then you will know that I am the LORD, when their slain are among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, under every green tree and under every leafy oak--the places where they offered soothing aroma to all their idols.
  4. "So throughout all their habitations I will stretch out My hand against them and make the land more desolate and waste than the wilderness toward Diblah; thus they will know that I am the LORD."'"
