- 형제들을 꾸준히 사랑하십시오.
- 나그네 대접을 소홀히 하지 마십시오. 나그네를 대접하다가 자기도 모르는 사이에 천사를 대접한 사람도 있었습니다.
- 감옥에 갇혀 있는 사람들이 있으면 여러분도 함께 갇혀 있는 심정으로 그들을 기억하십시오. 학대받는 사람들이 있으면 여러분도 같은 학대를 받고 있는 심정으로 그들을 기억하십시오.
- 누구든지 결혼을 존중하고 잠자리를 더럽히지 마십시오. 음란한 자와 간음하는 자는 하느님의 심판을 받을 것입니다.
- 돈을 위해서 살지 말고 지금 가지고 있는 것으로 만족하십시오. 주님께서는 "나는 결코 너를 떠나지도 않겠고 버리지도 않겠다." 하고 말씀하셨습니다.

- Let love of the brethren continue.
- Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
- Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.
- Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
- Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,"

- 그래서 우리는 확신을 가지고 이렇게 말합니다. "주께서 내 편을 들어 도와주시니 내가 무엇을 두려워하랴! 누가 감히 나에게 손을 대랴!"
- 하느님의 말씀을 여러분에게 일러준 지도자들을 기억하십시오. 그들이 어떻게 살다가 죽었는지를 살펴보고 그들의 믿음을 본받으십시오.
- 예수 그리스도는 어제나 오늘이나 또 영원히 변하지 않으시는 분입니다.
- 음식에 관한 여러 가지 이상한 교훈에 속지 마십시오. 음식에 관한 규정을 지키는 것보다 은총으로 마음을 튼튼하게 하는 것이 더 좋습니다. 음식에 관한 규정을 지키는 사람들이 그것 때문에 이득을 본 일은 없습니다.
- 유다교의 천막 성소에서 제사를 드리는 사제들은 우리 제단의 제물을 먹을 권리가 없습니다.

- so that we confidently say, "THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?"
- Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
- We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

- 유다인의 대사제는 짐승의 피를 지성소에 가지고 들어가서 속죄의 제물로 바칩니다. 그러나 짐승의 몸은 영문 밖에서 불살라 버립니다.
- 이와 같이 예수께서도 당신의 피로 백성을 거룩하게 만드시려고 성문 밖에서 고난을 당하셨습니다.
- 그러므로 우리도 영문 밖에 계신 그분께 나아가서 그분이 겪으신 치욕을 함께 겪읍시다.
- 이 땅 위에는 우리가 차지할 영원한 도성이 없습니다. 우리는 다만 앞으로 올 도성을 바라고 있을 뿐입니다.
- 그러므로 우리는 예수의 이름으로 언제나 하느님께 찬미의 제사를 드립시다. 하느님의 이름을 우리의 입으로 찬양합시다.

- For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.
- Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
- So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
- For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come.
- Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.

- 좋은 일을 하고 서로 사귀고 돕는 일을 게을리하지 마십시오. 하느님께서는 이런 것을 제물로서 기쁘게 받아주십니다.
- 여러분의 지도자들을 따르고 그들에게 복종하십시오. 그들은 쉬지 않고 여러분의 영혼을 돌보아 주고 있습니다. 그리고 그들은 장차 하느님께 자기가 한 일을 낱낱이 아뢰어야 할 사람들입니다. 그러므로 그들이 괴로움 없이 기쁜 마음으로 이 일을 할 수 있게 해주십시오. 그렇지 않으면 그들의 일이 여러분에게 아무런 도움도 되지 못할 것입니다.
- 우리를 위해서 기도해 주십시오. 우리는 무슨 일에나 정직하게 살려고 하므로 양심에 거리끼는 일은 하나도 없다고 확신하는 바입니다.
- 내가 여러분에게 속히 돌아갈 수 있도록 더욱 간곡히 기도해 주십시오.

- And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
- Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
- Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.
- And I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you the sooner.
