- 28원수가 넘어졌다고 좋아하지 말고 그가 망했다고 기뻐하지 마라.
- 야훼께서 그것을 못마땅하게 보시고 네 원수에게서 노여움을 돌이키신다.
- 29악인을 부러워하지 말고 못된 사람을 시기하지 마라.
- 악한 사람은 앞날이 없고 나쁜 사람의 등불은 꺼진다.

- For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of calamity.
- Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
- Or the LORD will see it and be displeased, And turn His anger away from him.
- Do not fret because of evildoers Or be envious of the wicked;
- For there will be no future for the evil man; The lamp of the wicked will be put out.

- 30내 아들아, 야훼와 임금을 두려워하며 그들을 거역하지 마라.
- 멸망이 갑자기 들이닥쳐 아무도 모르게 망하고 말리라.

- My son, fear the LORD and the king; Do not associate with those who are given to change,
- For their calamity will rise suddenly, And who knows the ruin that comes from both of them?
