마가복음 9:1-9:29

 예수님께서는 변화산에서 변화하심으로 메시아로서의 신분을 드러내셨다. 변화산에서 내려오신 예수님께서는 귀신을 쫓아내지 못한 제자들에게 믿음이 없음을 꾸짖으시고 귀신 들린 자를 고치셨다.
  
  변화산 사건(9:1-9:13)    
 
  1. 또 그들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 여기 서 있는 사람 중에는 죽기 전에 하나님의 나라가 권능으로 임하는 것을 볼 자들도 있느니라 하시니라
  2. 엿새 후에 예수께서 베드로와 야고보와 요한을 데리시고 따로 높은 산에 올라가셨더니 그들 앞에서 변형되사
  3. 그 옷이 광채가 나며 세상에서 빨래하는 자가 그렇게 희게 할 수 없을 만큼 매우 희어졌더라
  4. 이에 엘리야가 모세와 함께 그들에게 나타나 예수와 더불어 말하거늘
  5. 베드로가 예수께 고하되 랍비여 우리가 여기 있는 것이 좋사오니 우리가 초막 셋을 짓되 하나는 주를 위하여, 하나는 모세를 위하여, 하나는 엘리야를 위하여 하사이다 하니
  1. And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."
  2. After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them.
  3. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them.
  4. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus.
  5. Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters--one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."
  1. 이는 그들이 몹시 무서워하므로 그가 무슨 말을 할지 알지 못함이더라
  2. 마침 구름이 와서 그들을 덮으며 구름 속에서 소리가 나되 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이니 너희는 그의 말을 들으라 하는지라
  3. 문득 둘러보니 아무도 보이지 아니하고 오직 예수와 자기들뿐이었더라
  4. 그들이 산에서 내려올 때에 예수께서 경고하시되 인자가 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 때까지는 본 것을 아무에게도 이르지 말라 하시니
  5. 그들이 이 말씀을 마음에 두며 서로 문의하되 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나는 것이 무엇일까 하고
  1. (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)
  2. Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!"
  3. Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.
  4. As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
  5. They kept the matter to themselves, discussing what "rising from the dead" meant.
  1. 이에 예수께 묻자와 이르되 어찌하여 서기관들이 엘리야가 먼저 와야 하리라 하나이까
  2. 이르시되 엘리야가 과연 먼저 와서 모든 것을 회복하거니와 어찌 인자에 대하여 기록하기를 많은 고난을 받고 멸시를 당하리라 하였느냐
  3. 그러나 내가 너희에게 이르노니 엘리야가 왔으되 기록된 바와 같이 사람들이 함부로 대우하였느니라 하시니라
  1. And they asked him, "Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?"
  2. Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?
  3. But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him."
 
  귀신 들린 아이를 고치심(9:14-9:29)    
 
  1. 이에 그들이 제자들에게 와서 보니 큰 무리가 그들을 둘러싸고 서기관들이 그들과 더불어 변론하고 있더라
  2. 온 무리가 곧 예수를 보고 매우 놀라며 달려와 문안하거늘
  3. 예수께서 물으시되 너희가 무엇을 그들과 변론하느냐
  4. 무리 중의 하나가 대답하되 선생님 말 못하게 귀신 들린 내 아들을 선생님께 데려왔나이다
  5. 귀신이 어디서든지 그를 잡으면 거꾸러져 거품을 흘리며 이를 갈며 그리고 파리해지는지라 내가 선생님의 제자들에게 내쫓아 달라 하였으나 그들이 능히 하지 못하더이다
  1. When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them.
  2. As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.
  3. "What are you arguing with them about?" he asked.
  4. A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.
  5. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."
  1. 대답하여 이르시되 믿음이 없는 세대여 내가 얼마나 너희와 함께 있으며 얼마나 너희에게 참으리요 그를 내게로 데려오라 하시매
  2. 이에 데리고 오니 귀신이 예수를 보고 곧 그 아이로 심히 경련을 일으키게 하는지라 그가 땅에 엎드러져 구르며 거품을 흘리더라
  3. 예수께서 그 아버지에게 물으시되 언제부터 이렇게 되었느냐 하시니 이르되 어릴 때부터니이다
  4. 귀신이 그를 죽이려고 불과 물에 자주 던졌나이다 그러나 무엇을 하실 수 있거든 우리를 불쌍히 여기사 도와 주옵소서
  5. 예수께서 이르시되 할 수 있거든이 무슨 말이냐 믿는 자에게는 능히 하지 못할 일이 없느니라 하시니
  1. "O unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."
  2. So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
  3. Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he been like this?" "From childhood," he answered.
  4. "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
  5. " 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."
  1. 곧 그 아이의 아버지가 소리를 질러 이르되 내가 믿나이다 나의 믿음 없는 것을 도와 주소서 하더라
  2. 예수께서 무리가 달려와 모이는 것을 보시고 그 더러운 귀신을 꾸짖어 이르시되 말 못하고 못 듣는 귀신아 내가 네게 명하노니 그 아이에게서 나오고 다시 들어가지 말라 하시매
  3. 귀신이 소리 지르며 아이로 심히 경련을 일으키게 하고 나가니 그 아이가 죽은 것 같이 되어 많은 사람이 말하기를 죽었다 하나
  4. 예수께서 그 손을 잡아 일으키시니 이에 일어서니라
  5. 집에 들어가시매 제자들이 조용히 묻자오되 우리는 어찌하여 능히 그 귀신을 쫓아내지 못하였나이까
  1. Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"
  2. When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit," he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."
  3. The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, "He's dead."
  4. But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
  5. After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"
  1. 이르시되 기도 외에 다른 것으로는 이런 종류가 나갈 수 없느니라 하시니라
  1. He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer."
