역대상 22:1-23:32

 임종을 앞둔 다윗은 성전 건축에 필요한 모든 준비를 마친 후, 솔로몬과 방백들에게 성전 건축에 대한 당부의 말을 하였다. 그리고 생전에 새 왕국의 기초를 확립시켜 주기 위해 레위인들의 직분 배정을 위한 계수를 하였다.
  
  성전 건축 준비(22:1-22:19)    
 
  1. 다윗이 이르되 이는 여호와 하나님의 성전이요 이는 이스라엘의 번제단이라 하였더라
  2. 다윗이 명령하여 이스라엘 땅에 거류하는 이방 사람을 모으고 석수를 시켜 하나님의 성전을 건축할 돌을 다듬게 하고
  3. 다윗이 또 문짝 못과 거멀 못에 쓸 철을 많이 준비하고 또 무게를 달 수 없을 만큼 심히 많은 놋을 준비하고
  4. 또 백향목을 무수히 준비하였으니 이는 시돈 사람과 두로 사람이 백향목을 다윗에게로 많이 수운하여 왔음이라
  5. 다윗이 이르되 내 아들 솔로몬은 어리고 미숙하고 여호와를 위하여 건축할 성전은 극히 웅장하여 만국에 명성과 영광이 있게 하여야 할지라 그러므로 내가 이제 그것을 위하여 준비하리라 하고 다윗이 죽기 전에 많이 준비하였더라
  1. Then David said, "The house of the LORD God is to be here, and also the altar of burnt offering for Israel."
  2. So David gave orders to assemble the aliens living in Israel, and from among them he appointed stonecutters to prepare dressed stone for building the house of God.
  3. He provided a large amount of iron to make nails for the doors of the gateways and for the fittings, and more bronze than could be weighed.
  4. He also provided more cedar logs than could be counted, for the Sidonians and Tyrians had brought large numbers of them to David.
  5. David said, "My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the LORD should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for it." So David made extensive preparations before his death.
  1. 다윗이 그의 아들 솔로몬을 불러 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 위하여 성전 건축하기를 부탁하여
  2. 다윗이 솔로몬에게 이르되 내 아들아 나는 내 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축할 마음이 있었으나
  3. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되 너는 피를 심히 많이 흘렸고 크게 전쟁하였느니라 네가 내 앞에서 땅에 피를 많이 흘렸은즉 내 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축하지 못하리라
  4. 보라 한 아들이 네게서 나리니 그는 온순한 사람이라 내가 그로 주변 모든 대적에게서 평온을 얻게 하리라 그의 이름을 솔로몬이라 하리니 이는 내가 그의 생전에 평안과 안일함을 이스라엘에게 줄 것임이니라
  5. 그가 내 이름을 위하여 성전을 건축할지라 그는 내 아들이 되고 나는 그의 아버지가 되어 그 나라 왕위를 이스라엘 위에 굳게 세워 영원까지 이르게 하리라 하셨나니
  1. Then he called for his son Solomon and charged him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel.
  2. David said to Solomon: "My son, I had it in my heart to build a house for the Name of the LORD my God.
  3. But this word of the LORD came to me: 'You have shed much blood and have fought many wars. You are not to build a house for my Name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.
  4. But you will have a son who will be a man of peace and rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon, and I will grant Israel peace and quiet during his reign.
  5. He is the one who will build a house for my Name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.'
  1. 이제 내 아들아 여호와께서 너와 함께 계시기를 원하며 네가 형통하여 여호와께서 네게 대하여 말씀하신 대로 네 하나님 여호와의 성전을 건축하며
  2. 여호와께서 네게 지혜와 총명을 주사 네게 이스라엘을 다스리게 하시고 네 하나님 여호와의 율법을 지키게 하시기를 더욱 원하노라
  3. 그 때에 네가 만일 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 이스라엘에게 명령하신 모든 규례와 법도를 삼가 행하면 형통하리니 강하고 담대하여 두려워하지 말고 놀라지 말지어다
  4. 내가 환난 중에 여호와의 성전을 위하여 금 십만 달란트와 은 백만 달란트와 놋과 철을 그 무게를 달 수 없을 만큼 심히 많이 준비하였고 또 재목과 돌을 준비하였으나 너는 더할 것이며
  5. 또 장인이 네게 많이 있나니 곧 석수와 목수와 온갖 일에 익숙한 모든 사람이니라
  1. "Now, my son, the LORD be with you, and may you have success and build the house of the LORD your God, as he said you would.
  2. May the LORD give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God.
  3. Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the LORD gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.
  4. "I have taken great pains to provide for the temple of the LORD a hundred thousand talents of gold, a million talents of silver, quantities of bronze and iron too great to be weighed, and wood and stone. And you may add to them.
  5. You have many workmen: stonecutters, masons and carpenters, as well as men skilled in every kind of work
  1. 금과 은과 놋과 철이 무수하니 너는 일어나 일하라 여호와께서 너와 함께 계실지로다 하니라
  2. 다윗이 또 이스라엘 모든 방백에게 명령하여 그의 아들 솔로몬을 도우라 하여 이르되
  3. 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희와 함께 계시지 아니하시느냐 사면으로 너희에게 평온함을 주지 아니하셨느냐 이 땅 주민을 내 손에 넘기사 이 땅으로 여호와와 그의 백성 앞에 복종하게 하셨나니
  4. 이제 너희는 마음과 뜻을 바쳐서 너희 하나님 여호와를 구하라 그리고 일어나서 여호와 하나님의 성전을 건축하고 여호와의 언약궤와 하나님 성전의 기물을 가져다가 여호와의 이름을 위하여 건축한 성전에 들이게 하라 하였더라
  1. in gold and silver, bronze and iron--craftsmen beyond number. Now begin the work, and the LORD be with you."
  2. Then David ordered all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon.
  3. He said to them, "Is not the LORD your God with you? And has he not granted you rest on every side? For he has handed the inhabitants of the land over to me, and the land is subject to the LORD and to his people.
  4. Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD."
 
  레위인의 직무(23:1-23:32)    
 
  1. 다윗이 나이가 많아 늙으매 아들 솔로몬을 이스라엘 왕으로 삼고
  2. 이스라엘 모든 방백과 제사장과 레위 사람을 모았더라
  3. 레위 사람은 삼십 세 이상으로 계수하니 모든 남자의 수가 삼만 팔천 명인데
  4. 그 중의 이만 사천 명은 여호와의 성전의 일을 보살피는 자요 육천 명은 관원과 재판관이요
  5. 사천 명은 문지기요 사천 명은 그가 여호와께 찬송을 드리기 위하여 만든 악기로 찬송하는 자들이라
  1. When David was old and full of years, he made his son Solomon king over Israel.
  2. He also gathered together all the leaders of Israel, as well as the priests and Levites.
  3. The Levites thirty years old or more were counted, and the total number of men was thirty-eight thousand.
  4. David said, "Of these, twenty-four thousand are to supervise the work of the temple of the LORD and six thousand are to be officials and judges.
  5. Four thousand are to be gatekeepers and four thousand are to praise the LORD with the musical instruments I have provided for that purpose."
  1. 다윗이 레위의 아들들을 게르손과 그핫과 므라리에 따라 각 반으로 나누었더라
  2. 게르손 자손은 라단과 시므이라
  3. 라단의 아들들은 우두머리 여히엘과 또 세담과 요엘 세 사람이요
  4. 시므이의 아들들은 슬로밋과 하시엘과 하란 세 사람이니 이는 라단의 우두머리들이며
  5. 또 시므이의 아들들은 야핫과 시나와 여우스와 브리아이니 이 네 사람도 시므이의 아들이라
  1. David divided the Levites into groups corresponding to the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
  2. Belonging to the Gershonites: Ladan and Shimei.
  3. The sons of Ladan: Jehiel the first, Zetham and Joel--three in all.
  4. The sons of Shimei: Shelomoth, Haziel and Haran--three in all. These were the heads of the families of Ladan.
  5. And the sons of Shimei: Jahath, Ziza, Jeush and Beriah. These were the sons of Shimei--four in all.
  1. 그 우두머리는 야핫이요 그 다음은 시사며 여우스와 브리아는 아들이 많지 아니하므로 그들과 한 조상의 가문으로 계수되었더라
  2. 그핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘 네 사람이라
  3. 아므람의 아들들은 아론과 모세이니 아론은 그 자손들과 함께 구별되어 몸을 성결하게 하여 영원토록 심히 거룩한 자가 되어 여호와 앞에 분향하고 섬기며 영원토록 그 이름으로 축복하게 되었느니라
  4. 하나님의 사람 모세의 아들들은 레위 지파 중에 기록되었으니
  5. 모세의 아들은 게르솜과 엘리에셀이라
  1. Jahath was the first and Ziza the second, but Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons; so they were counted as one family with one assignment.
  2. The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel--four in all.
  3. The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses. Aaron was set apart, he and his descendants forever, to consecrate the most holy things, to offer sacrifices before the LORD, to minister before him and to pronounce blessings in his name forever.
  4. The sons of Moses the man of God were counted as part of the tribe of Levi.
  5. The sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer.
  1. 게르솜의 아들중에 스브엘이 우두머리가 되었고
  2. 엘리에셀의 아들들은 우두머리 르하뱌라 엘리에셀에게 이 외에는 다른 아들이 없고 르하뱌의 아들들은 심히 많았으며
  3. 이스할의 아들들은 우두머리 슬로밋이요
  4. 헤브론의 아들들은 우두머리 여리야와 둘째 아마랴와 셋째 야하시엘과 넷째 여가므암이며
  5. 웃시엘의 아들들은 우두머리 미가와 그 다음 잇시야더라
  1. The descendants of Gershom: Shubael was the first.
  2. The descendants of Eliezer: Rehabiah was the first. Eliezer had no other sons, but the sons of Rehabiah were very numerous.
  3. The sons of Izhar: Shelomith was the first.
  4. The sons of Hebron: Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third and Jekameam the fourth.
  5. The sons of Uzziel: Micah the first and Isshiah the second.
  1. 므라리의 아들들은 마흘리와 무시요 마흘리의 아들들은 엘르아살과 기스라
  2. 엘르아살이 아들이 없이 죽고 딸만 있더니 그의 형제 기스의 아들이 그에게 장가 들었으며
  3. 무시의 아들들은 마흘리와 에델과 여레못 세 사람이더라
  4. 이는 다 레위 자손이니 그 조상의 가문을 따라 계수된 이름이 기록되고 여호와의 성전에서 섬기는 일을 하는 이십세 이상 된 우두머리들이라
  5. 다윗이 이르기를 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 평강을 그의 백성에게 주시고 예루살렘에 영원히 거하시나니
  1. The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli: Eleazar and Kish.
  2. Eleazar died without having sons: he had only daughters. Their cousins, the sons of Kish, married them.
  3. The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth--three in all.
  4. These were the descendants of Levi by their families--the heads of families as they were registered under their names and counted individually, that is, the workers twenty years old or more who served in the temple of the LORD.
  5. For David had said, "Since the LORD, the God of Israel, has granted rest to his people and has come to dwell in Jerusalem forever,
  1. 레위 사람이 다시는 성막과 그 가운데에서 쓰는 모든 기구를 멜 필요가 없다 한지라
  2. 다윗의 유언대로 레위 자손이 이십 세 이상으로 계수되었으니
  3. 그 직분은 아론의 자손을 도와 여호와의 성전과 뜰과 골방에서 섬기고 또 모든 성물을 정결하게 하는 일 곧 하나님의 성전에서 섬기는 일과
  4. 또 진설병과 고운 가루의 소제물 곧 무교전병이나 과자를 굽는 것이나 반죽하는 것이나 또 모든 저울과 자를 맡고
  5. 아침과 저녁마다 서서 여호와께 감사하고 찬송하며
  1. the Levites no longer need to carry the tabernacle or any of the articles used in its service."
  2. According to the last instructions of David, the Levites were counted from those twenty years old or more.
  3. The duty of the Levites was to help Aaron's descendants in the service of the temple of the LORD : to be in charge of the courtyards, the side rooms, the purification of all sacred things and the performance of other duties at the house of God.
  4. They were in charge of the bread set out on the table, the flour for the grain offerings, the unleavened wafers, the baking and the mixing, and all measurements of quantity and size.
  5. They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD. They were to do the same in the evening
  1. 또 안식일과 초하루와 절기에 모든 번제를 여호와께 드리되 그가 명령하신 규례의 정한 수효대로 항상 여호와 앞에 드리며
  2. 또 회막의 직무와 성소의 직무와 그들의 형제 아론 자손의 직무를 지켜 여호와의 성전에서 수종드는 것이더라
  1. and whenever burnt offerings were presented to the LORD on Sabbaths and at New Moon festivals and at appointed feasts. They were to serve before the LORD regularly in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them.
  2. And so the Levites carried out their responsibilities for the Tent of Meeting, for the Holy Place and, under their brothers the descendants of Aaron, for the service of the temple of the LORD.
