이사야 34:1-36:22

 이사야는 하나님께서 만국을 향해 진노하셔서 그들을 진멸하시고 에돔 땅에서 큰 살륙을 행하실 것이라고 하였다. 그러나 구속함을 입은 자들은 시온에 이르러 기쁨과 즐거움을 얻을 것이라고 예언하였다.
앗수르 왕 산헤립이 유다를 침공하여 하나님과 애굽을 의지하던 히스기야 왕과 그의 백성들을 욕되게 하였다.
  
  열국에 대한 심판(34:1-34:17)    
 
  1. 열국이여 너희는 나아와 들을지어다 민족들이여 귀를 기울일지어다 땅과 땅에 충만한 것, 세계와 세계에서 나는 모든 것이여 들을지어다
  2. 대저 여호와께서 열방을 향하여 진노하시며 그들의 만군을 향하여 분내사 그들을 진멸하시며 살륙 당하게 하셨은즉
  3. 그 살륙 당한 자는 내던진 바 되며 그 사체의 악취가 솟아오르고 그 피에 산들이 녹을 것이며
  4. 하늘의 만상이 사라지고 하늘들이 두루마리 같이 말리되 그 만상의 쇠잔함이 포도나무 잎이 마름 같고 무화과나무 잎이 마름 같으리라
  5. 여호와의 칼이 하늘에서 족하게 마셨은즉 보라 이것이 에돔 위에 내리며 진멸하시기로 한 백성 위에 내려 그를 심판할 것이라
  1. Come near, you nations, and listen; pay attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world, and all that comes out of it!
  2. The LORD is angry with all nations; his wrath is upon all their armies. He will totally destroy them, he will give them over to slaughter.
  3. Their slain will be thrown out, their dead bodies will send up a stench; the mountains will be soaked with their blood.
  4. All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.
  5. My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens; see, it descends in judgment on Edom, the people I have totally destroyed.
  1. 여호와의 칼이 피 곧 어린 양과 염소의 피에 만족하고 기름 곧 숫양의 콩팥 기름으로 윤택하니 이는 여호와를 위한 희생이 보스라에 있고 큰 살륙이 에돔 땅에 있음이라
  2. 들소와 송아지와 수소가 함께 도살장에 내려가니 그들의 땅이 피에 취하며 흙이 기름으로 윤택하리라
  3. 이것은 여호와께서 보복하시는 날이요 시온의 송사를 위하여 신원하시는 해라
  4. 에돔의 시내들은 변하여 역청이 되고 그 티끌은 유황이 되고 그 땅은 불 붙는 역청이 되며
  5. 낮에나 밤에나 꺼지지 아니하고 그 연기가 끊임없이 떠오를 것이며 세세에 황무하여 그리로 지날 자가 영영히 없겠고
  1. The sword of the LORD is bathed in blood, it is covered with fat-- the blood of lambs and goats, fat from the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in Edom.
  2. And the wild oxen will fall with them, the bull calves and the great bulls. Their land will be drenched with blood, and the dust will be soaked with fat.
  3. For the LORD has a day of vengeance, a year of retribution, to uphold Zion's cause.
  4. Edom's streams will be turned into pitch, her dust into burning sulfur; her land will become blazing pitch!
  5. It will not be quenched night and day; its smoke will rise forever. From generation to generation it will lie desolate; no one will ever pass through it again.
  1. 당아새와 고슴도치가 그 땅을 차지하며 부엉이와 까마귀가 거기에 살 것이라 여호와께서 그 위에 혼란의 줄과 공허의 추를 드리우실 것인즉
  2. 그들이 국가를 이으려 하여 귀인들을 부르되 아무도 없겠고 그 모든 방백도 없게 될 것이요
  3. 그 궁궐에는 가시나무가 나며 그 견고한 성에는 엉겅퀴와 새품이 자라서 승냥이의 굴과 타조의 처소가 될 것이니
  4. 들짐승이 이리와 만나며 숫염소가 그 동류를 부르며 올빼미가 거기에 살면서 쉬는 처소로 삼으며
  5. 부엉이가 거기에 깃들이고 알을 낳아 까서 그 그늘에 모으며 솔개들도 각각 제 짝과 함께 거기에 모이리라
  1. The desert owl and screech owl will possess it; the great owl and the raven will nest there. God will stretch out over Edom the measuring line of chaos and the plumb line of desolation.
  2. Her nobles will have nothing there to be called a kingdom, all her princes will vanish away.
  3. Thorns will overrun her citadels, nettles and brambles her strongholds. She will become a haunt for jackals, a home for owls.
  4. Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also repose and find for themselves places of rest.
  5. The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate.
  1. 너희는 여호와의 책에서 찾아 읽어보라 이것들 가운데서 빠진 것이 하나도 없고 제 짝이 없는 것이 없으리니 이는 여호와의 입이 이를 명령하셨고 그의 영이 이것들을 모으셨음이라
  2. 여호와께서 그것들을 위하여 제비를 뽑으시며 그의 손으로 줄을 띠어 그 땅을 그것들에게 나누어 주셨으니 그들이 영원히 차지하며 대대로 거기에 살리라
  1. Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.
  2. He allots their portions; his hand distributes them by measure. They will possess it forever and dwell there from generation to generation.
 
  구속받은 자의 기쁨(35:1-35:10)    
 
  1. 광야와 메마른 땅이 기뻐하며 사막이 백합화 같이 피어 즐거워하며
  2. 무성하게 피어 기쁜 노래로 즐거워하며 레바논의 영광과 갈멜과 사론의 아름다움을 얻을 것이라 그것들이 여호와의 영광 곧 우리 하나님의 아름다움을 보리로다
  3. 너희는 약한 손을 강하게 하며 떨리는 무릎을 굳게 하며
  4. 겁내는 자들에게 이르기를 굳세어라, 두려워하지 말라, 보라 너희 하나님이 오사 보복하시며 갚아 주실 것이라 하나님이 오사 너희를 구하시리라 하라
  5. 그 때에 맹인의 눈이 밝을 것이며 못 듣는 사람의 귀가 열릴 것이며
  1. The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,
  2. it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
  3. Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
  4. say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
  5. Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
  1. 그 때에 저는 자는 사슴 같이 뛸 것이며 말 못하는 자의 혀는 노래하리니 이는 광야에서 물이 솟겠고 사막에서 시내가 흐를 것임이라
  2. 뜨거운 사막이 변하여 못이 될 것이며 메마른 땅이 변하여 원천이 될 것이며 승냥이의 눕던 곳에 풀과 갈대와 부들이 날 것이며
  3. 거기에 대로가 있어 그 길을 거룩한 길이라 일컫는 바 되리니 깨끗하지 못한 자는 지나가지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 입은 자들을 위하여 있게 될 것이라 우매한 행인은 그 길로 다니지 못할 것이며
  4. 거기에는 사자가 없고 사나운 짐승이 그리로 올라가지 아니하므로 그것을 만나지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 받은 자만 그리로 행할 것이며
  5. 여호와의 속량함을 받은 자들이 돌아오되 노래하며 시온에 이르러 그들의 머리 위에 영영한 희락을 띠고 기쁨과 즐거움을 얻으리니 슬픔과 탄식이 사라지리로다
  1. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
  2. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
  3. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.
  4. No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
  5. and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
 
  랍사게의 조롱(36:1-36:22)    
 
  1. 히스기야 왕 십사년에 앗수르 왕 산헤립이 올라와서 유다의 모든 견고한 성을 쳐서 취하니라
  2. 앗수르 왕이 라기스에서부터 랍사게를 예루살렘으로 보내되 대군을 거느리고 히스기야 왕에게로 가게 하매 그가 윗못 수도 곁 세탁자의 밭 큰 길에 서매
  3. 힐기야의 아들 왕궁 맡은 자 엘리아김과 서기관 셉나와 아삽의 아들 사관 요아가 그에게 나아가니라
  4. 랍사게가 그들에게 이르되 이제 히스기야에게 말하라 대왕 앗수르 왕이 이같이 말씀하시기를 네가 믿는 바 그 믿는 것이 무엇이냐
  5. 내가 말하노니 네가 족히 싸울 계략과 용맹이 있노라 함은 입술에 붙은 말뿐이니라 네가 이제 누구를 믿고 나를 반역하느냐
  1. In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah's reign, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.
  2. Then the king of Assyria sent his field commander with a large army from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. When the commander stopped at the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Washerman's Field,
  3. Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went out to him.
  4. The field commander said to them, "Tell Hezekiah, " 'This is what the great king, the king of Assyria, says: On what are you basing this confidence of yours?
  5. You say you have strategy and military strength--but you speak only empty words. On whom are you depending, that you rebel against me?
  1. 보라 네가 애굽을 믿는도다 그것은 상한 갈대 지팡이와 같은 것이라 사람이 그것을 의지하면 손이 찔리리니 애굽 왕 바로는 그를 믿는 모든 자에게 이와 같으니라
  2. 혹시 네가 내게 이르기를 우리는 우리 하나님 여호와를 신뢰하노라 하리라마는 그는 그의 산당과 제단을 히스기야가 제하여 버리고 유다와 예루살렘에 명령하기를 너희는 이 제단 앞에서만 예배하라 하던 그 신이 아니냐 하셨느니라
  3. 그러므로 이제 청하노니 내 주 앗수르 왕과 내기하라 내가 네게 말 이천 필을 주어도 너는 그 탈 자를 능히 내지 못하리라
  4. 그런즉 네가 어찌 내 주의 종 가운데 극히 작은 총독 한 사람인들 물리칠 수 있으랴 어찌 애굽을 믿고 병거와 기병을 얻으려 하느냐
  5. 내가 이제 올라와서 이 땅을 멸하는 것이 여호와의 뜻이 없음이겠느냐 여호와께서 내게 이르시기를 올라가 그 땅을 쳐서 멸하라 하셨느니라 하니라
  1. Look now, you are depending on Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff, which pierces a man's hand and wounds him if he leans on it! Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who depend on him.
  2. And if you say to me, "We are depending on the LORD our God"-isn't he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, "You must worship before this altar"?
  3. " 'Come now, make a bargain with my master, the king of Assyria: I will give you two thousand horses--if you can put riders on them!
  4. How then can you repulse one officer of the least of my master's officials, even though you are depending on Egypt for chariots and horsemen?
  5. Furthermore, have I come to attack and destroy this land without the LORD ? The LORD himself told me to march against this country and destroy it.' "
  1. 이에 엘리아김과 셉나와 요아가 랍사게에게 이르되 우리가 아람 방언을 아오니 청하건대 그 방언으로 당신의 종들에게 말하고 성 위에 있는 백성이 듣는 데에서 우리에게 유다 방언으로 말하지 마소서 하니
  2. 랍사게가 이르되 내 주께서 이 일을 네 주와 네게만 말하라고 나를 보내신 것이냐 너희와 함께 자기의 대변을 먹으며 자기의 소변을 마실 성 위에 앉은 사람들에게도 하라고 보내신 것이 아니냐 하더라
  3. 이에 랍사게가 일어서서 유다 방언으로 크게 외쳐 이르되 너희는 대왕 앗수르 왕의 말씀을 들으라
  4. 왕의 말씀에 너희는 히스기야에게 미혹되지 말라 그가 능히 너희를 건지지 못할 것이니라
  5. 히스기야가 너희에게 여호와를 신뢰하게 하려는 것을 따르지 말라 그가 말하기를 여호와께서 반드시 우리를 건지시리니 이 성이 앗수르 왕의 손에 넘어가지 아니하리라 할지라도
  1. Then Eliakim, Shebna and Joah said to the field commander, "Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, since we understand it. Don't speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people on the wall."
  2. But the commander replied, "Was it only to your master and you that my master sent me to say these things, and not to the men sitting on the wall--who, like you, will have to eat their own filth and drink their own urine?"
  3. Then the commander stood and called out in Hebrew, "Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria!
  4. This is what the king says: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you. He cannot deliver you!
  5. Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the LORD when he says, 'The LORD will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.'
  1. 히스기야의 말을 듣지 말라 앗수르 왕이 또 이같이 말씀하시기를 너희는 내게 항복하고 내게로 나아오라 그리하면 너희가 각각 자기의 포도와 자기의 무화과를 먹을 것이며 각각 자기의 우물 물을 마실 것이요
  2. 내가 와서 너희를 너희 본토와 같이 곡식과 포도주와 떡과 포도원이 있는 땅에 옮기기까지 하리라
  3. 혹시 히스기야가 너희에게 이르기를 여호와께서 우리를 건지시리라 할지라도 속지 말라 열국의 신들 중에 자기의 땅을 앗수르 왕의 손에서 건진 자가 있느냐
  4. 하맛과 아르밧의 신들이 어디 있느냐 스발와임의 신들이 어디 있느냐 그들이 사마리아를 내 손에서 건졌느냐
  5. 이 열방의 신들 중에 어떤 신이 자기의 나라를 내 손에서 건져냈기에 여호와가 능히 예루살렘을 내 손에서 건지겠느냐 하셨느니라 하니라
  1. "Do not listen to Hezekiah. This is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then every one of you will eat from his own vine and fig tree and drink water from his own cistern,
  2. until I come and take you to a land like your own--a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.
  3. "Do not let Hezekiah mislead you when he says, 'The LORD will deliver us.' Has the god of any nation ever delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria?
  4. Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? Have they rescued Samaria from my hand?
  5. Who of all the gods of these countries has been able to save his land from me? How then can the LORD deliver Jerusalem from my hand?"
  1. 그러나 그들이 잠잠하여 한 말도 대답하지 아니하였으니 이는 왕이 그들에게 명령하여 대답하지 말라 하였음이었더라
  2. 그 때에 힐기야의 아들 왕궁 맡은 자 엘리아김과 서기관 셉나와 아삽의 아들 사관 요아가 자기의 옷을 찢고 히스기야에게 나아가서 랍사게의 말을 그에게 전하니라
  1. But the people remained silent and said nothing in reply, because the king had commanded, "Do not answer him."
  2. Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went to Hezekiah, with their clothes torn, and told him what the field commander had said.
