욥기 30:1-31:40

 욥은 현재 환난 가운데 있는 자신은 사람들의 조롱거리가 되었다고 비통하게 노래하면서, 하나님께서 자신을 고통 가운데 있게 하셨다고 하였다. 그리고 하나님께 부르짖으나 하나님께서 대답하지 아니하시므로 자신은 애통한 상태에 있다고 하면서, 하나님께서 자신의 정직함을 알기를 원하며 자신에게 대답해 주시기를 간구하였다.
  
  계속되는 욥의 독백(30:1-31:40)    
 
  1. 그러나 이제는 나보다 젊은 자들이 나를 비웃는구나 그들의 아비들은 내가 보기에 내 양 떼를 지키는 개 중에도 둘 만하지 못한 자들이니라
  2. 그들의 기력이 쇠잔하였으니 그들의 손의 힘이 내게 무슨 소용이 있으랴
  3. 그들은 곧 궁핍과 기근으로 인하여 파리하며 캄캄하고 메마른 땅에서 마른 흙을 씹으며
  4. 떨기나무 가운데에서 짠 나물을 꺾으며 대싸리 뿌리로 먹을 거리를 삼느니라
  5. 무리가 그들에게 소리를 지름으로 도둑 같이 사람들 가운데에서 쫓겨나서
  1. But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.
  2. Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?
  3. For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.
  4. Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.
  5. They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)
  1. 침침한 골짜기와 흙 구덩이와 바위 굴에서 살며
  2. 떨기나무 가운데에서 부르짖으며 가시나무 아래에 모여 있느니라
  3. 그들은 본래 미련한 자의 자식이요 이름 없는 자들의 자식으로서 고토에서 쫓겨난 자들이니라
  4. 이제는 그들이 나를 노래로 조롱하며 내가 그들의 놀림거리가 되었으며
  5. 그들이 나를 미워하여 멀리 하고 서슴지 않고 내 얼굴에 침을 뱉는도다
  1. To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.
  2. Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.
  3. They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
  4. And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.
  5. They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.
  1. 이는 하나님이 내 활시위를 늘어지게 하시고 나를 곤고하게 하심으로 무리가 내 앞에서 굴레를 벗었음이니라
  2. 그들이 내 오른쪽에서 일어나 내 발에 덫을 놓으며 나를 대적하여 길을 에워싸며
  3. 그들이 내 길을 헐고 내 재앙을 재촉하는데도 도울 자가 없구나
  4. 그들은 성을 파괴하고 그 파괴한 가운데로 몰려드는 것 같이 내게로 달려드니
  5. 순식간에 공포가 나를 에워싸고 그들이 내 품위를 바람 같이 날려 버리니 나의 구원은 구름 같이 지나가 버렸구나
  1. Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.
  2. Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
  3. They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.
  4. They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.
  5. Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
  1. 이제는 내 생명이 내 속에서 녹으니 환난 날이 나를 사로잡음이라
  2. 밤이 되면 내 뼈가 쑤시니 나의 아픔이 쉬지 아니하는구나
  3. 그가 큰 능력으로 나의 옷을 떨쳐 버리시며 나의 옷깃처럼 나를 휘어잡으시는구나
  4. 하나님이 나를 진흙 가운데 던지셨고 나를 티끌과 재 같게 하셨구나
  5. 내가 주께 부르짖으나 주께서 대답하지 아니하시오며 내가 섰사오나 주께서 나를 돌아보지 아니하시나이다
  1. And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
  2. My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
  3. By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
  4. He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
  5. I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.
  1. 주께서 돌이켜 내게 잔혹하게 하시고 힘 있는 손으로 나를 대적하시나이다
  2. 나를 바람 위에 들어 불려가게 하시며 무서운 힘으로 나를 던져 버리시나이다
  3. 내가 아나이다 주께서 나를 죽게 하사 모든 생물을 위하여 정한 집으로 돌려보내시리이다
  4. 그러나 사람이 넘어질 때에 어찌 손을 펴지 아니하며 재앙을 당할 때에 어찌 도움을 부르짖지 아니하리이까
  5. 고생의 날을 보내는 자를 위하여 내가 울지 아니하였는가 빈궁한 자를 위하여 내 마음에 근심하지 아니하였는가
  1. Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.
  2. Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.
  3. For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.
  4. Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.
  5. Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?
  1. 내가 복을 바랐더니 화가 왔고 광명을 기다렸더니 흑암이 왔구나
  2. 내 마음이 들끓어 고요함이 없구나 환난 날이 내게 임하였구나
  3. 나는 햇볕에 쬐지 않고도 검어진 피부를 가지고 걸으며 회중 가운데 서서 도움을 부르짖고 있느니라
  4. 나는 이리의 형제요 타조의 벗이로구나
  5. 나를 덮고 있는 피부는 검어졌고 내 뼈는 열기로 말미암아 탔구나
  1. When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.
  2. My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.
  3. I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.
  4. I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.
  5. My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.
  1. 내 수금은 통곡이 되었고 내 피리는 애곡이 되었구나
  1. My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.
 
 
  1. 내가 내 눈과 약속하였나니 어찌 처녀에게 주목하랴
  2. 그리하면 위에 계신 하나님께서 내리시는 분깃이 무엇이겠으며 높은 곳의 전능자께서 주시는 기업이 무엇이겠느냐
  3. 불의한 자에게는 환난이 아니겠느냐 행악자에게는 불행이 아니겠느냐
  4. 그가 내 길을 살피지 아니하시느냐 내 걸음을 다 세지 아니하시느냐
  5. 만일 내가 허위와 함께 동행하고 내 발이 속임수에 빨랐다면
  1. I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
  2. For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?
  3. Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
  4. Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
  5. If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;
  1. 하나님께서 나를 공평한 저울에 달아보시고 그가 나의 온전함을 아시기를 바라노라
  2. 만일 내 걸음이 길에서 떠났거나 내 마음이 내 눈을 따랐거나 내 손에 더러운 것이 묻었다면
  3. 내가 심은 것을 타인이 먹으며 나의 소출이 뿌리째 뽑히기를 바라노라
  4. 만일 내 마음이 여인에게 유혹되어 이웃의 문을 엿보아 문에서 숨어 기다렸다면
  5. 내 아내가 타인의 맷돌을 돌리며 타인과 더불어 동침하기를 바라노라
  1. Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.
  2. If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands;
  3. Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.
  4. If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door;
  5. Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.
  1. 그것은 참으로 음란한 일이니 재판에 회부할 죄악이요
  2. 멸망하도록 사르는 불이니 나의 모든 소출을 뿌리째 뽑기를 바라노라
  3. 만일 남종이나 여종이 나와 더불어 쟁론할 때에 내가 그의 권리를 저버렸다면
  4. 하나님이 일어나실 때에 내가 어떻게 하겠느냐 하나님이 심판하실 때에 내가 무엇이라 대답하겠느냐
  5. 나를 태 속에 만드신 이가 그도 만들지 아니하셨느냐 우리를 뱃속에 지으신 이가 한 분이 아니시냐
  1. For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges.
  2. For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.
  3. If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me;
  4. What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?
  5. Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?
  1. 내가 언제 가난한 자의 소원을 막았거나 과부의 눈으로 하여금 실망하게 하였던가
  2. 나만 혼자 내 떡덩이를 먹고 고아에게 그 조각을 먹이지 아니하였던가
  3. 실상은 내가 젊었을 때부터 고아 기르기를 그의 아비처럼 하였으며 내가 어렸을 때부터 과부를 인도하였노라
  4. 만일 내가 사람이 의복이 없이 죽어가는 것이나 가난한 자가 덮을 것이 없는 것을 못본 체 했다면
  5. 만일 나의 양털로 그의 몸을 따뜻하게 입혀서 그의 허리가 나를 위하여 복을 빌게 하지 아니하였다면
  1. If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;
  2. Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof;
  3. (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb;)
  4. If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering;
  5. If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;
  1. 만일 나를 도와 주는 자가 성문에 있음을 보고 내가 주먹을 들어 고아를 향해 휘둘렀다면
  2. 내 팔이 어깨 뼈에서 떨어지고 내 팔 뼈가 그 자리에서 부스러지기를 바라노라
  3. 나는 하나님의 재앙을 심히 두려워하고 그의 위엄으로 말미암아 그런 일을 할 수 없느니라
  4. 만일 내가 내 소망을 금에다 두고 순금에게 너는 내 의뢰하는 바라 하였다면
  5. 만일 재물의 풍부함과 손으로 얻은 것이 많음으로 기뻐하였다면
  1. If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:
  2. Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.
  3. For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.
  4. If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
  5. If I rejoice because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had gotten much;
  1. 만일 해가 빛남과 달이 밝게 뜬 것을 보고
  2. 내 마음이 슬며시 유혹되어 내 손에 입맞추었다면
  3. 그것도 재판에 회부할 죄악이니 내가 그리하였으면 위에 계신 하나님을 속이는 것이리라
  4. 내가 언제 나를 미워하는 자의 멸망을 기뻐하고 그가 재난을 당함으로 즐거워하였던가
  5. 실상은 나는 그가 죽기를 구하는 말로 그의 생명을 저주하여 내 입이 범죄하게 하지 아니하였노라
  1. If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;
  2. And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
  3. This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.
  4. If I rejoice at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:
  5. Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.
  1. 내 장막 사람들은 주인의 고기에 배부르지 않은 자가 어디 있느뇨 하지 아니하였는가
  2. 실상은 나그네가 거리에서 자지 아니하도록 나는 행인에게 내 문을 열어 주었노라
  3. 내가 언제 다른 사람처럼 내 악행을 숨긴 일이 있거나 나의 죄악을 나의 품에 감추었으며
  4. 내가 언제 큰 무리와 여러 종족의 수모가 두려워서 대문 밖으로 나가지 못하고 잠잠하였던가
  5. 누구든지 나의 변명을 들어다오 나의 서명이 여기 있으니 전능자가 내게 대답하시기를 바라노라 나를 고발하는 자가 있다면 그에게 고소장을 쓰게 하라
  1. If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.
  2. The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller.
  3. If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:
  4. Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door?
  5. Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.
  1. 내가 그것을 어깨에 메기도 하고 왕관처럼 머리에 쓰기도 하리라
  2. 내 걸음의 수효를 그에게 알리고 왕족처럼 그를 가까이 하였으리라
  3. 만일 내 밭이 나를 향하여 부르짖고 밭이랑이 함께 울었다면
  4. 만일 내가 값을 내지 않고 그 소출을 먹고 그 소유주가 생명을 잃게 하였다면
  5. 밀 대신에 가시나무가 나고 보리 대신에 독보리가 나는 것이 마땅하니라 하고 욥의 말이 그치니라
  1. Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me.
  2. I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him.
  3. If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain;
  4. If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
  5. Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.
