욥기 32:1-33:33

 욥의 세 친구들은 그가 끝까지 결백을 주장하자 변론을 중단하였다. 그러자 이때 엘리후가 의롭다는 욥과 그를 정죄한 세 친구들을 공박하면서 세 친구들이 욥과의 변론에서 올바른 대답을 해주지 못했다고 지적하였다. 그리고 하나님은 사람보다 크시다고 하면서, 스스로 불의가 없다고 고백한 욥의 말은 의롭지 못하다고 하였다.
  
  엘리후의 발언(32:1-33:33)    
 
  1. 욥이 자신을 의인으로 여기므로 그 세 사람이 말을 그치니
  2. 람 종족 부스 사람 바라겔의 아들 엘리후가 화를 내니 그가 욥에게 화를 냄은 욥이 하나님보다 자기가 의롭다 함이요
  3. 또 세 친구에게 화를 냄은 그들이 능히 대답하지 못하면서도 욥을 정죄함이라
  4. 엘리후는 그들의 나이가 자기보다 여러 해 위이므로 욥에게 말하기를 참고 있다가
  5. 세 사람의 입에 대답이 없음을 보고 화를 내니라
  1. So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
  2. Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
  3. Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
  4. Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.
  5. When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
  1. 부스 사람 바라겔의 아들 엘리후가 대답하여 이르되 나는 연소하고 당신들은 연로하므로 뒷전에서 나의 의견을 감히 내놓지 못하였노라
  2. 내가 말하기를 나이가 많은 자가 말할 것이요 연륜이 많은 자가 지혜를 가르칠 것이라 하였노라
  3. 그러나 사람의 속에는 영이 있고 전능자의 숨결이 사람에게 깨달음을 주시나니
  4. 어른이라고 지혜롭거나 노인이라고 정의를 깨닫는 것이 아니니라
  5. 그러므로 내가 말하노니 내 말을 들으라 나도 내 의견을 말하리라
  1. And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
  2. I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
  3. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
  4. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
  5. Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
  1. 보라 나는 당신들의 말을 기다렸노라 당신들의 슬기와 당신들의 말에 귀 기울이고 있었노라
  2. 내가 자세히 들은즉 당신들 가운데 욥을 꺾어 그의 말에 대답하는 자가 없도다
  3. 당신들이 말하기를 우리가 진상을 파악했으나 그를 추궁할 자는 하나님이시요 사람이 아니라 하지 말지니라
  4. 그가 내게 자기 이론을 제기하지 아니하였으니 나도 당신들의 이론으로 그에게 대답하지 아니하리라
  5. 그들이 놀라서 다시 대답하지 못하니 할 말이 없음이었더라
  1. Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
  2. Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
  3. Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
  4. Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
  5. They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
  1. 당신들이 말 없이 가만히 서서 다시 대답하지 아니한즉 내가 어찌 더 기다리랴
  2. 나는 내 본분대로 대답하고 나도 내 의견을 보이리라
  3. 내 속에는 말이 가득하니 내 영이 나를 압박함이니라
  4. 보라 내 배는 봉한 포도주통 같고 터지게 된 새 가죽 부대 같구나
  5. 내가 말을 하여야 시원할 것이라 내 입을 열어 대답하리라
  1. When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
  2. I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
  3. For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
  4. Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
  5. I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
  1. 나는 결코 사람의 낯을 보지 아니하며 사람에게 영광을 돌리지 아니하리니
  2. 이는 아첨할 줄을 알지 못함이라 만일 그리하면 나를 지으신 이가 속히 나를 데려가시리로다
  1. Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
  2. For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
 
 
  1. 그런즉 욥이여 내 말을 들으며 내 모든 말에 귀를 기울이기를 원하노라
  2. 내가 입을 여니 내 혀가 입에서 말하는구나
  3. 내 마음의 정직함이 곧 내 말이며 내 입술이 아는 바가 진실을 말하느니라
  4. 하나님의 영이 나를 지으셨고 전능자의 기운이 나를 살리시느니라
  5. 그대가 할 수 있거든 일어서서 내게 대답하고 내 앞에 진술하라
  1. Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
  2. Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
  3. My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
  4. The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
  5. If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
  1. 나와 그대가 하나님 앞에서 동일하니 나도 흙으로 지으심을 입었은즉
  2. 내 위엄으로는 그대를 두렵게 하지 못하고 내 손으로는 그대를 누르지 못하느니라
  3. 그대는 실로 내가 듣는 데서 말하였고 나는 그대의 말소리를 들었느니라
  4. 이르기를 나는 깨끗하여 악인이 아니며 순전하고 불의도 없거늘
  5. 참으로 하나님이 나에게서 잘못을 찾으시며 나를 자기의 원수로 여기사
  1. Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
  2. Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
  3. Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
  4. I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
  5. Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
  1. 내 발을 차꼬에 채우시고 나의 모든 길을 감시하신다 하였느니라
  2. 내가 그대에게 대답하리라 이 말에 그대가 의롭지 못하니 하나님은 사람보다 크심이니라
  3. 하나님께서 사람의 말에 대답하지 않으신다 하여 어찌 하나님과 논쟁하겠느냐
  4. 하나님은 한 번 말씀하시고 다시 말씀하시되 사람은 관심이 없도다
  5. 사람이 침상에서 졸며 깊이 잠들 때에나 꿈에나 밤에 환상을 볼 때에
  1. He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
  2. Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
  3. Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
  4. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
  5. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
  1. 그가 사람의 귀를 여시고 경고로써 두렵게 하시니
  2. 이는 사람에게 그의 행실을 버리게 하려 하심이며 사람의 교만을 막으려 하심이라
  3. 그는 사람의 혼을 구덩이에 빠지지 않게 하시며 그 생명을 칼에 맞아 멸망하지 않게 하시느니라
  4. 혹은 사람이 병상의 고통과 뼈가 늘 쑤심의 징계를 받나니
  5. 그의 생명은 음식을 싫어하고 그의 마음은 별미를 싫어하며
  1. Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
  2. That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
  3. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
  4. He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
  5. So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
  1. 그의 살은 파리하여 보이지 아니하고 보이지 않던 뼈가 드러나서
  2. 그의 마음은 구덩이에, 그의 생명은 멸하는 자에게 가까워지느니라
  3. 만일 일천 천사 가운데 하나가 그 사람의 중보자로 함께 있어서 그의 정당함을 보일진대
  4. 하나님이 그 사람을 불쌍히 여기사 그를 건져서 구덩이에 내려가지 않게 하라 내가 대속물을 얻었다 하시리라
  5. 그런즉 그의 살이 청년보다 부드러워지며 젊음을 회복하리라
  1. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
  2. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
  3. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
  4. Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
  5. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
  1. 그는 하나님께 기도하므로 하나님이 은혜를 베푸사 그로 말미암아 기뻐 외치며 하나님의 얼굴을 보게 하시고 사람에게 그의 공의를 회복시키시느니라
  2. 그가 사람 앞에서 노래하여 이르기를 내가 범죄하여 옳은 것을 그르쳤으나 내게 무익하였구나
  3. 하나님이 내 영혼을 건지사 구덩이에 내려가지 않게 하셨으니 내 생명이 빛을 보겠구나 하리라
  4. 실로 하나님이 사람에게 이 모든 일을 재삼 행하심은
  5. 그들의 영혼을 구덩이에서 이끌어 생명의 빛을 그들에게 비추려 하심이니라
  1. He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
  2. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
  3. He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
  4. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
  5. To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
  1. 욥이여 내 말을 귀담아 들으라 잠잠하라 내가 말하리라
  2. 만일 할 말이 있거든 대답하라 내가 기쁜 마음으로 그대를 의롭다 하리니 그대는 말하라
  3. 만일 없으면 내 말을 들으라 잠잠하라 내가 지혜로 그대를 가르치리라
  1. Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
  2. If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
  3. If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
