	호세아 5:1-8:14 호세아는 이스라엘 죄악의 근본 원인이 하나님을 아는 지식이 없기 때문이라는 야웨의 말씀을 전하면서 우상 숭배와 행음, 형식적인 제사와 번제, 제사장들의 타락 등 이스라엘의 죄악을 낱낱이 지적하였다. 그는 이로 인해 하나님의 징계와 심판이 있을 것이지만 그 후에는 치료하시는 하나님의 구원의 은총이 있을 것임을 예언하였다.

	이스라엘의 죄악상(5:1-8:14)

제사장들아 이를 들으라 이스라엘 족속들아 깨달으라 왕족들아 귀를 기울이라 너희에게 심판이 있나니 너희가 미스바에 대하여 올무가 되며 다볼 위에 친 그물이 됨이라

패역자가 살육죄에 깊이 빠졌으매 내가 그들을 다 벌하노라

에브라임은 내가 알고 이스라엘은 내게 숨기지 못하나니 에브라임아 이제 네가 음행하였고 이스라엘이 더러워졌느니라

그들의 행위가 그들로 자기 하나님에게 돌아가지 못하게 하나니 이는 음란한 마음이 그 속에 있어 여호와를 알지 못하는 까닭이라

이스라엘의 교만이 그 얼굴에 드러났나니 그 죄악으로 말미암아 이스라엘과 에브라임이 넘어지고 유다도 그들과 함께 넘어지리라

Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.

I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.

They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.

And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.

그들이 양 떼와 소 떼를 끌고 여호와를 찾으러 갈지라도 만나지 못할 것은 이미 그들에게서 떠나셨음이라

그들이 여호와께 정조를 지키지 아니하고 사생아를 낳았으니 그러므로 새 달이 그들과 그 기업을 함께 삼키리로다

너희가 기브아에서 뿔나팔을 불며 라마에서 나팔을 불며 벧아웬에서 외치기를 베냐민아 네 뒤를 쫓는다 할지어다

벌하는 날에 에브라임이 황폐할 것이라 내가 이스라엘 지파 중에서 반드시 있을 일을 보였노라

유다 지도자들은 경계표를 옮기는 자 같으니 내가 나의 진노를 그들에게 물 같이 부으리라

They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.

They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.

Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Benjamin.

Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.

The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.

에브라임은 사람의 명령 뒤따르기를 좋아하므로 학대를 받고 재판의 압제를 받는도다

그러므로 내가 에브라임에게는 좀 같으며 유다 족속에게는 썩이는 것 같도다

에브라임이 자기의 병을 깨달으며 유다가 자기의 상처를 깨달았고 에브라임은 앗수르로 가서 야렙 왕에게 사람을 보내었으나 그가 능히 너희를 고치지 못하겠고 너희 상처를 낫게 하지 못하리라

내가 에브라임에게는 사자 같고 유다 족속에게는 젊은 사자 같으니 바로 내가 움켜갈지라 내가 탈취하여 갈지라도 건져낼 자가 없으리라

그들이 그 죄를 뉘우치고 내 얼굴을 구하기까지 내가 내 곳으로 돌아가리라 그들이 고난 받을 때에 나를 간절히 구하리라

Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.

For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자 여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것임이라

여호와께서 이틀 후에 우리를 살리시며 셋째 날에 우리를 일으키시리니 우리가 그의 앞에서 살리라

그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하니라

에브라임아 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 유다야 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 너희의 인애가 아침 구름이나 쉬 없어지는 이슬 같도다

그러므로 내가 선지자들로 그들을 치고 내 입의 말로 그들을 죽였노니 내 심판은 빛처럼 나오느니라

Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.

나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하며 번제보다 하나님을 아는 것을 원하노라

그들은 아담처럼 언약을 어기고 거기에서 나를 반역하였느니라

길르앗은 악을 행하는 자의 고을이라 피 발자국으로 가득 찼도다

강도 떼가 사람을 기다림 같이 제사장의 무리가 세겜 길에서 살인하니 그들이 사악을 행하였느니라

내가 이스라엘 집에서 가증한 일을 보았나니 거기서 에브라임은 음행하였고 이스라엘은 더럽혀졌느니라

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.

And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.

I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.

또한 유다여 내가 내 백성의 사로잡힘을 돌이킬 때에 네게도 추수할 일을 정하였느니라

Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

내가 이스라엘을 치료하려 할 때에 에브라임의 죄와 사마리아의 악이 드러나도다 그들은 거짓을 행하며 안으로 들어가 도둑질하고 밖으로 떼 지어 노략질하며

내가 모든 악을 기억하였음을 그들이 마음에 생각하지 아니하거니와 이제 그들의 행위가 그들을 에워싸고 내 얼굴 앞에 있도다

그들이 그 악으로 왕을, 그 거짓말로 지도자들을 기쁘게 하도다

그들은 다 간음하는 자라 과자 만드는 자에 의해 달궈진 화덕과 같도다 그가 반죽을 뭉침으로 발효되기까지만 불 일으키기를 그칠 뿐이니라

우리 왕의 날에 지도자들은 술의 뜨거움으로 병이 나며 왕은 오만한 자들과 더불어 악수하는도다

When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.

In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

그들이 가까이 올 때에 그들의 마음은 간교하여 화덕 같으니 그들의 분노는 밤새도록 자고 아침에 피우는 불꽃 같도다

그들이 다 화덕 같이 뜨거워져서 그 재판장들을 삼키며 그들의 왕들을 다 엎드러지게 하며 그들 중에는 내게 부르짖는 자가 하나도 없도다

에브라임이 여러 민족 가운데에 혼합되니 그는 곧 뒤집지 않은 전병이로다

이방인들이 그의 힘을 삼켰으나 알지 못하고 백발이 무성할지라도 알지 못하는도다

이스라엘의 교만은 그 얼굴에 드러났나니 그들이 이 모든 일을 당하여도 그들의 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오지 아니하며 구하지 아니하도다

For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.

에브라임은 어리석은 비둘기 같이 지혜가 없어서 애굽을 향하여 부르짖으며 앗수르로 가는도다

그들이 갈 때에 내가 나의 그물을 그 위에 쳐서 공중의 새처럼 떨어뜨리고 전에 그 회중에 들려 준 대로 그들을 징계하리라

화 있을진저 그들이 나를 떠나 그릇 갔음이니라 패망할진저 그들이 내게 범죄하였음이니라 내가 그들을 건져 주려 하나 그들이 나를 거슬러 거짓을 말하고

성심으로 나를 부르지 아니하였으며 오직 침상에서 슬피 부르짖으며 곡식과 새 포도주로 말미암아 모이며 나를 거역하는도다

내가 그들 팔을 연습시켜 힘 있게 하였으나 그들은 내게 대하여 악을 꾀하는도다

Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.

Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.

Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

그들은 돌아오나 높으신 자에게로 돌아오지 아니하니 속이는 활과 같으며 그들의 지도자들은 그 혀의 거친 말로 말미암아 칼에 엎드러지리니 이것이 애굽 땅에서 조롱거리가 되리라

They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

나팔을 네 입에 댈지어다 원수가 독수리처럼 여호와의 집에 덮치리니 이는 그들이 내 언약을 어기며 내 율법을 범함이로다

그들이 장차 내게 부르짖기를 나의 하나님이여 우리 이스라엘이 주를 아나이다 하리라

이스라엘이 이미 선을 버렸으니 원수가 그를 따를 것이라

그들이 왕들을 세웠으나 내게서 난 것이 아니며 그들이 지도자들을 세웠으나 내가 모르는 바이며 그들이 또 그 은, 금으로 자기를 위하여 우상을 만들었나니 결국은 파괴되고 말리라

사마리아여 네 송아지는 버려졌느니라 내 진노가 무리를 향하여 타오르나니 그들이 어느 때에야 무죄하겠느냐

Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.

Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.

They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.

Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?

이것은 이스라엘에서 나고 장인이 만든 것이라 참 신이 아니니 사마리아의 송아지가 산산조각이 나리라

그들이 바람을 심고 광풍을 거둘 것이라 심은 것이 줄기가 없으며 이삭은 열매를 맺지 못할 것이요 혹시 맺을지라도 이방 사람이 삼키리라

이스라엘은 이미 삼켜졌은즉 이제 여러 나라 가운데에 있는 것이 즐겨 쓰지 아니하는 그릇 같도다

그들이 홀로 떨어진 들나귀처럼 앗수르로 갔고 에브라임이 값 주고 사랑하는 자들을 얻었도다

그들이 여러 나라에게 값을 주었을지라도 이제 내가 그들을 모으리니 그들은 지도자의 임금이 지워 준 짐으로 말미암아 쇠하기 시작하리라

For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.

For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.

Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.

For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.

Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes.

에브라임은 죄를 위하여 제단을 많이 만들더니 그 제단이 그에게 범죄하게 하는 것이 되었도다

내가 그를 위하여 내 율법을 만 가지로 기록하였으나 그들은 이상한 것으로 여기도다

그들이 내게 고기를 제물로 드리고 먹을지라도 여호와는 그것을 기뻐하지 아니하고 이제 그들의 죄악을 기억하여 그 죄를 벌하리니 그들은 애굽으로 다시 가리라

이스라엘은 자기를 지으신 이를 잊어버리고 왕궁들을 세웠으며 유다는 견고한 성읍을 많이 쌓았으나 내가 그 성읍들에 불을 보내어 그 성들을 삼키게 하리라

Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.

I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.

They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.

For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
