마태복음 17:22-18:14

 예수께서 두번째로 자신이 수난당하실 것을 말씀하시고, 어린아이와 같은 겸손과 지극히 작은 자에 대한 관심과 사랑을 실천할 것을 교훈하셨다.
  
  두번째 수난 예언(17:22-17:27)    
 
  1. 갈릴리에 모일 때에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 인자가 장차 사람들의 손에 넘겨져
  2. 죽임을 당하고 제삼일에 살아나리라 하시니 제자들이 매우 근심하더라
  3. 가버나움에 이르니 반 세겔 받는 자들이 베드로에게 나아와 이르되 너의 선생은 반 세겔을 내지 아니하느냐
  4. 이르되 내신다 하고 집에 들어가니 예수께서 먼저 이르시되 시몬아 네 생각은 어떠하냐 세상 임금들이 누구에게 관세와 국세를 받느냐 자기 아들에게냐 타인에게냐
  5. 베드로가 이르되 타인에게니이다 예수께서 이르시되 그렇다면 아들들은 세를 면하리라
  1. And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men;
  2. and they will kill Him, and He will be raised on the third day." And they were deeply grieved.
  3. When they came to Capernaum, those who collected the two-drachma tax came to Peter and said, "Does your teacher not pay the two-drachma tax?"
  4. He said, "Yes." And when he came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs or poll-tax, from their sons or from strangers?"
  5. When Peter said, "From strangers," Jesus said to him, "Then the sons are exempt.
  1. 그러나 우리가 그들이 실족하지 않게 하기 위하여 네가 바다에 가서 낚시를 던져 먼저 오르는 고기를 가져 입을 열면 돈 한 세겔을 얻을 것이니 가져다가 나와 너를 위하여 주라 하시니라
  1. "However, so that we do not offend them, go to the sea and throw in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up; and when you open its mouth, you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for you and Me."
 
  천국에서 가장 큰 자(18:1-18:14)    
 
  1. 그 때에 제자들이 예수께 나아와 이르되 천국에서는 누가 크니이까
  2. 예수께서 한 어린 아이를 불러 그들 가운데 세우시고
  3. 이르시되 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 돌이켜 어린 아이들과 같이 되지 아니하면 결단코 천국에 들어가지 못하리라
  4. 그러므로 누구든지 이 어린 아이와 같이 자기를 낮추는 사람이 천국에서 큰 자니라
  5. 또 누구든지 내 이름으로 이런 어린 아이 하나를 영접하면 곧 나를 영접함이니
  1. At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
  2. And He called a child to Himself and set him before them,
  3. and said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
  4. "Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
  5. "And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me;
  1. 누구든지 나를 믿는 이 작은 자 중 하나를 실족하게 하면 차라리 연자 맷돌이 그 목에 달려서 깊은 바다에 빠뜨려지는 것이 나으니라
  2. 실족하게 하는 일들이 있음으로 말미암아 세상에 화가 있도다 실족하게 하는 일이 없을 수는 없으나 실족하게 하는 그 사람에게는 화가 있도다
  3. 만일 네 손이나 네 발이 너를 범죄하게 하거든 찍어 내버리라 장애인이나 다리 저는 자로 영생에 들어가는 것이 두 손과 두 발을 가지고 영원한 불에 던져지는 것보다 나으니라
  4. 만일 네 눈이 너를 범죄하게 하거든 빼어 내버리라 한 눈으로 영생에 들어가는 것이 두 눈을 가지고 지옥 불에 던져지는 것보다 나으니라
  5. 삼가 이 작은 자 중의 하나도 업신여기지 말라 너희에게 말하노니 그들의 천사들이 하늘에서 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 얼굴을 항상 뵈옵느니라
  1. but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
  2. "Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!
  3. "If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than to have two hands or two feet and be cast into the eternal fire.
  4. "If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it from you It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be cast into the fiery hell.
  5. "See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

  2. 너희 생각에는 어떠하냐 만일 어떤 사람이 양 백 마리가 있는데 그 중의 하나가 길을 잃었으면 그 아흔아홉 마리를 산에 두고 가서 길 잃은 양을 찾지 않겠느냐
  3. 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 만일 찾으면 길을 잃지 아니한 아흔아홉 마리보다 이것을 더 기뻐하리라
  4. 이와 같이 이 작은 자 중의 하나라도 잃는 것은 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 뜻이 아니니라
  1. ["For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.]
  2. "What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying?
  3. "If it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
  4. "So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.
