	에스겔 10:1-11:25 에스겔은 예루살렘 성읍에 숯불 재앙이 임하는 것과 야웨의 영광이 예루살렘에서 떠나는 것을 환상으로 보았다. 하나님께서는 예루살렘에 남아서 악을 행하고 있는 교만한 자들은 타국인의 손에 멸망당하게 된다고 예고하셨다. 그러나 이방에 포로된 자들에게는 하나님께서 그들의 성소가 되시고 약속의 땅을 다시 돌려 주시며 부드러운 마음을 주시겠다는 위로의 말씀을 하셨다.

	성전을 떠난 야웨의 영광(10:1-10:22)

이에 내가 보니 그룹들 머리 위 궁창에 남보석 같은 것이 나타나는데 그들 위에 보좌의 형상이 있는 것 같더라

하나님이 가는 베 옷을 입은 사람에게 말씀하여 이르시되 너는 그룹 밑에 있는 바퀴 사이로 들어가 그 속에서 숯불을 두 손에 가득히 움켜 가지고 성읍 위에 흩으라 하시매 그가 내 목전에서 들어가더라

그 사람이 들어갈 때에 그룹들은 성전 오른쪽에 서 있고 구름은 안뜰에 가득하며

여호와의 영광이 그룹에서 올라와 성전 문지방에 이르니 구름이 성전에 가득하며 여호와의 영화로운 광채가 뜰에 가득하였고

그룹들의 날개 소리는 바깥뜰까지 들리는데 전능하신 하나님이 말씀하시는 음성 같더라

Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.

And He spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, "Enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city." And he entered in my sight.

Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the temple when the man entered, and the cloud filled the inner court.

Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the LORD.

Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when He speaks.

하나님이 가는 베 옷을 입은 자에게 명령하시기를 바퀴 사이 곧 그룹들 사이에서 불을 가져 가라 하셨으므로 그가 들어가 바퀴 옆에 서매

그 그룹이 그룹들 사이에서 손을 내밀어 그 그룹들 사이에 있는 불을 집어 가는 베 옷을 입은 자의 손에 주매 그가 받아 가지고 나가는데

그룹들의 날개 밑에 사람의 손 같은 것이 나타나더라

내가 보니 그룹들 곁에 네 바퀴가 있는데 이 그룹 곁에도 한 바퀴가 있고 저 그룹 곁에도 한 바퀴가 있으며 그 바퀴 모양은 황옥 같으며

그 모양은 넷이 꼭 같은데 마치 바퀴 안에 바퀴가 있는 것 같으며

It came about when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, "Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim," he entered and stood beside a wheel.

Then the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire which was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen, who took it and went out.

The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man's hand under their wings.

Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a Tarshish stone.

As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel.

그룹들이 나아갈 때에는 사방으로 몸을 돌리지 아니하고 나아가되 몸을 돌리지 아니하고 그 머리 향한 곳으로 나아가며

그 온 몸과 등과 손과 날개와 바퀴 곧 네 그룹의 바퀴의 둘레에 다 눈이 가득하더라

내가 들으니 그 바퀴들을 도는 것이라 부르며

그룹들에게는 각기 네 면이 있는데 첫째 면은 그룹의 얼굴이요 둘째 면은 사람의 얼굴이요 셋째는 사자의 얼굴이요 넷째는 독수리의 얼굴이더라

그룹들이 올라가니 그들은 내가 그발 강 가에서 보던 생물이라

When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.

Their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings and the wheels were full of eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them.

The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels.

And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living beings that I saw by the river Chebar.

그룹들이 나아갈 때에는 바퀴도 그 곁에서 나아가고 그룹들이 날개를 들고 땅에서 올라가려 할 때에도 바퀴가 그 곁을 떠나지 아니하며

그들이 서면 이들도 서고 그들이 올라가면 이들도 함께 올라가니 이는 생물의 영이 바퀴 가운데에 있음이더라

여호와의 영광이 성전 문지방을 떠나서 그룹들 위에 머무르니

그룹들이 날개를 들고 내 눈 앞의 땅에서 올라가는데 그들이 나갈 때에 바퀴도 그 곁에서 함께 하더라 그들이 여호와의 전으로 들어가는 동문에 머물고 이스라엘 하나님의 영광이 그 위에 덮였더라

그것은 내가 그발 강 가에서 보던 이스라엘의 하나님 아래에 있던 생물이라 그들이 그룹인 줄을 내가 아니라

Now when the cherubim moved, the wheels would go beside them; also when the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels would not turn from beside them.

When the cherubim stood still, the wheels would stand still; and when they rose up, the wheels would rise with them, for the spirit of the living beings was in them.

Then the glory of the LORD departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim.

When the cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the LORD'S house, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.

These are the living beings that I saw beneath the God of Israel by the river Chebar; so I knew that they were cherubim.

각기 네 얼굴과 네 날개가 있으며 날개 밑에는 사람의 손 형상이 있으니

그 얼굴의 형상은 내가 그발 강 가에서 보던 얼굴이며 그 모양과 그 몸도 그러하며 각기 곧게 앞으로 가더라

Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and beneath their wings was the form of human hands.

As for the likeness of their faces, they were the same faces whose appearance I had seen by the river Chebar. Each one went straight ahead.

	심판과 회복(11:1-11:25)

그 때에 주의 영이 나를 들어올려서 여호와의 전 동문 곧 동향한 문에 이르시기로 보니 그 문에 사람이 스물다섯 명이 있는데 내가 그 중에서 앗술의 아들 야아사냐와 브나야의 아들 블라댜를 보았으니 그들은 백성의 고관이라

그가 내게 이르시되 인자야 이 사람들은 불의를 품고 이 성 중에서 악한 꾀를 꾸미는 자니라

그들의 말이 집 건축할 때가 가깝지 아니한즉 이 성읍은 가마가 되고 우리는 고기가 된다 하나니

그러므로 인자야 너는 그들을 쳐서 예언하고 예언할지니라

여호와의 영이 내게 임하여 이르시되 너는 말하기를 여호와의 말씀에 이스라엘 족속아 너희가 이렇게 말하였도다 너희 마음에서 일어나는 것을 내가 다 아노라

Moreover, the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the LORD'S house which faced eastward And behold, there were twenty-five men at the entrance of the gate, and among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.

He said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and give evil advice in this city,

who say, 'The time is not near to build houses. This city is the pot and we are the flesh.'

"Therefore, prophesy against them, son of man, prophesy!"

Then the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and He said to me, "Say, 'Thus says the LORD, "So you think, house of Israel, for I know your thoughts.

너희가 이 성읍에서 많이 죽여 그 거리를 시체로 채웠도다

그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 이 성읍 중에서 너희가 죽인 시체는 그 고기요 이 성읍은 그 가마인데 너희는 그 가운데에서 끌려 나오리라

나 주 여호와가 말하노라 너희가 칼을 두려워하니 내가 칼로 너희에게 이르게 하고

너희를 그 성읍 가운데에서 끌어내어 타국인의 손에 넘겨 너희에게 벌을 내리리니

너희가 칼에 엎드러질 것이라 내가 이스라엘 변경에서 너희를 심판하리니 너희는 내가 여호와인 줄을 알리라

"You have multiplied your slain in this city, filling its streets with them."

'Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the flesh and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it.

"You have feared a sword; so I will bring a sword upon you," the Lord GOD declares.

"And I will bring you out of the midst of the city and deliver you into the hands of strangers and execute judgments against you.

"You will fall by the sword I will judge you to the border of Israel; so you shall know that I am the LORD.

이 성읍은 너희 가마가 되지 아니하고 너희는 그 가운데에 고기가 되지 아니할지라 내가 너희를 이스라엘 변경에서 심판하리니

너희는 내가 여호와인 줄을 알리라 너희가 내 율례를 행하지 아니하며 규례를 지키지 아니하고 너희 사방에 있는 이방인의 규례대로 행하였느니라 하셨다 하라

이에 내가 예언할 때에 브나야의 아들 블라댜가 죽기로 내가 엎드려 큰 소리로 부르짖어 이르되 오호라 주 여호와여 이스라엘의 남은 자를 다 멸절하고자 하시나이까 하니라

여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되

인자야 예루살렘 주민이 네 형제 곧 네 형제와 친척과 온 이스라엘 족속을 향하여 이르기를 너희는 여호와에게서 멀리 떠나라 이 땅은 우리에게 주어 기업이 되게 하신 것이라 하였나니

"This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be flesh in the midst of it, but I will judge you to the border of Israel.

"Thus you will know that I am the LORD; for you have not walked in My statutes nor have you executed My ordinances, but have acted according to the ordinances of the nations around you."'"

Now it came about as I prophesied, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah died Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said, "Alas, Lord GOD! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete end?"

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

"Son of man, your brothers, your relatives, your fellow exiles and the whole house of Israel, all of them, are those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, 'Go far from the LORD; this land has been given us as a possession.'

그런즉 너는 말하기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 내가 비록 그들을 멀리 이방인 가운데로 쫓아내어 여러 나라에 흩었으나 그들이 도달한 나라들에서 내가 잠깐 그들에게 성소가 되리라 하셨다 하고

너는 또 말하기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 내가 너희를 만민 가운데에서 모으며 너희를 흩은 여러 나라 가운데에서 모아 내고 이스라엘 땅을 너희에게 주리라 하셨다 하라

그들이 그리로 가서 그 가운데의 모든 미운 물건과 모든 가증한 것을 제거하여 버릴지라

내가 그들에게 한 마음을 주고 그 속에 새 영을 주며 그 몸에서 돌 같은 마음을 제거하고 살처럼 부드러운 마음을 주어

내 율례를 따르며 내 규례를 지켜 행하게 하리니 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 그들의 하나님이 되리라

"Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Though I had removed them far away among the nations and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them a little while in the countries where they had gone."'

"Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries among which you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel."'

"When they come there, they will remove all its detestable things and all its abominations from it.

"And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,

that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God.

그러나 미운 것과 가증한 것을 마음으로 따르는 자는 내가 그 행위대로 그 머리에 갚으리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라

그 때에 그룹들이 날개를 드는데 바퀴도 그 곁에 있고 이스라엘 하나님의 영광도 그 위에 덮였더니

여호와의 영광이 성읍 가운데에서부터 올라가 성읍 동쪽 산에 머무르고

주의 영이 나를 들어 하나님의 영의 환상 중에 데리고 갈대아에 있는 사로잡힌 자 중에 이르시더니 내가 본 환상이 나를 떠나 올라간지라

내가 사로잡힌 자에게 여호와께서 내게 보이신 모든 일을 말하니라

"But as for those whose hearts go after their detestable things and abominations, I will bring their conduct down on their heads," declares the Lord GOD.

Then the cherubim lifted up their wings with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.

The glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood over the mountain which is east of the city.

And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God to the exiles in Chaldea So the vision that I had seen left me.

Then I told the exiles all the things that the LORD had shown me.
