마태복음 25:31-26:13

 예수님께서는 양과 염소의 비유를 통해 최후의 심판을 경고하셨다. 이 때 대제사장들과 장로들은 예수님을 잡아 죽이기 위해 한창 의논하고 있었다. 한편 베다니에 오신 예수님에게 마리아는 향유를 부어 메시아의 장사를 예비하였다.
  
  심판의 경고(25:31-25:46)    
 
  1. 내가 영광 중에 모든 천사들과 함께 와서 내 영광의 보좌에 앉을 것이다.
  2. 그리고 모든 민족을 내 앞에 모으고 목자가 양과 염소를 갈라 놓듯 사람들을 갈라 놓아
  3. 양은 오른편에, 염소는 왼편에 세울 것이다.
  4. 그때 왕이 오른편에 있는 사람들에게 '내 아버지의 복을 받은 사람들아, 와서 세상이 창조된 때부터 너희를 위해 준비된 나라를 물려받아라.
  5. 너희는 내가 굶주릴 때 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때 마실 것을 주었으며 나그네 되었을 때 너희 집으로 맞아들였고
  1. "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.
  2. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
  3. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
  4. "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
  5. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
  1. 벗었을 때 입을 것을 주었고 병들었을 때 간호해 주었으며 갇혔을 때 찾아 주었다.'고 말할 것이다.
  2. 그러면 의로운 사람들이 '주님, 언제 우리가 주님이 굶주리신 것을 보고 음식을 대접하였으며 목마르신 것을 보고 마실 것을 드렸습니까?
  3. 언제 우리가 주님이 나그네 되신 것을 보고 우리 집으로 맞아들였으며 벗으신 것을 보고 입을 것을 드렸습니까?
  4. 또 언제 우리가 주님이 병드신 것을 보고 간호해 드렸으며 갇혔을 때 찾아갔습니까?' 하고 말할 것이다.
  5. 그때 왕은 그들에게 '내가 분명히 말하지만 너희가 이들 내 형제 중에 아주 보잘 것없는 사람 하나에게 한 일이 바로 내게 한 일이다.' 하고 말할 것이다.
  1. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
  2. "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
  3. When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
  4. When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
  5. "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
  1. 그런 다음 그는 왼편에 있는 사람들에게 '저주를 받은 사람들아, 너희는 내게서 떠나 마귀와 그 부하들을 위해 준비된 영원한 불에 들어가거라.
  2. 너희는 내가 굶주릴 때 먹을 것을 주지 않았고 목마를 때 마실 것을 주지 않았으며
  3. 나그네 되었을 때 너희 집으로 맞아들이지 않았고 벗었을 때 입을 것을 주지 않았으며 병들고 갇혔을 때 돌보지 않았다.'고 말할 것이다.
  4. 그러면 그들도 '주님, 언제 우리가 주님이 굶주리신 것이나 목마르신 것이나 나그네 되신 것이나 벗으신 것이나 병드신 것이나 갇히신 것을 보고 돌보지 않았습니까?' 하고 말할 것이다.
  5. 그때 왕은 그들에게 '내가 분명히 말하지만 너희가 이 보잘 것없는 사람 하나에게 하지 않은 일이 곧 내게 하지 않은 일이다.' 하고 말할 것이다.
  1. "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
  2. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
  3. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
  4. "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
  5. "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
  1. 그렇게 해서 이 사람들은 영원한 형벌을 받는 곳에, 의로운 사람들은 영원한 생명을 누리는 곳에 들어갈 것이다.'
  1. "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
 
  향유 사건(26:1-26:13)    
 
  1. 예수님은 이 모든 말씀을 마치시고 제자들에게
  2. '너희도 알다시피 이틀만 지나면 유월절이다. 나는 사람들의 손에 넘어가 십자가에 못박힐 것이다.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  3. 그 무렵 대제사장들과 백성의 장로들이 대제사장 가야바의 집 뜰에 모여
  4. 예수님을 교묘하게 잡아죽일 방법을 의논하였다.
  5. 그러나 그들은 '군중들이 난동을 일으킬지도 모르니 명절에는 하지 말자.' 하였다.
  1. When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,
  2. "As you know, the Passover is two days away--and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified."
  3. Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,
  4. and they plotted to arrest Jesus in some sly way and kill him.
  5. "But not during the Feast," they said, "or there may be a riot among the people."
  1. 예수님이 베다니에 있는 문둥병자 시몬의 집에 계실 때
  2. 한 여자가 예수님께 값진 향유 한 병을 가지고 와서 식탁에 앉으신 예수님의 머리에 부었다.
  3. 그러나 제자들은 이것을 보고 분개하여 '무엇 때문에 이렇게 낭비하시오?
  4. 이 향유를 비싼 값에 팔아 그 돈을 가난한 사람들에게 줄 수도 있지 않았소?' 하였다.
  5. 그러자 예수님은 그들의 생각을 아시고 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '왜 그 여자를 괴롭히느냐? 그녀는 나에게 좋은 일을 하였다.
  1. While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper,
  2. a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.
  3. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked.
  4. "This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor."
  5. Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me.
  1. 가난한 사람은 항상 너희와 함께 있으나 나는 너희와 항상 함께 있는 것이 아니다.
  2. 이 여자는 내 몸에 향유를 부어 내 장례를 준비하였다.
  3. 내가 분명히 말해 둔다. 세상 어디든지 이 복음이 전파되는 곳에는 이 여자가 한 일도 알려져서 사람들의 기억에 남을 것이다.'
  1. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.
  2. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.
  3. I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
 
  아문(衙門, 26:3)  상급 관청의 총칭, 원뜻은 대제사장이 집무하는 건물
