여호수아 19:17-21:26

 아직 기업을 받지 못한 잇사갈, 아셀, 납달리, 단 지파에게 기업을 분배하고 마지막으로 여호수아가 기업을 분배받음으로 영토 분배를 마쳤다. 여호수아는 하나님께서 지시하신 대로 도피성을 요단 동편에 세 곳, 요단 서편에 세 곳을 선정했다. 그리고 기업을 분배받지 못한 레위 자손들에게는 각 지파의 기업 중에서 48성읍을 주어 그 곳에서 살게 하였다.
  
  나머지 지파의 땅(19:17-19:51)    
 
  1. 네 번째로 잇사갈 지파를 위해 제비를 뽑았다.
  2. 그들이 분배받은 땅은 이스르엘, 그술롯, 수넴,
  3. 하바라임, 시온, 아나하랏,
  4. 랍빗, 기시온, 에베스,
  5. 레멧, 엔-간님, 엔-핫다 벧-바세스를 포함하며
  1. The fourth lot came out for Issachar, clan by clan.
  2. Their territory included: Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
  3. Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
  4. Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
  5. Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah and Beth Pazzez.
  1. 그 경계는 다볼, 사하수마, 벤-세메스에 미치고 요단강에서 끝났다.
  2. 이상의 16개 성과 그 주변 부락은 잇사갈 지파가 집안별로 분배받은 땅이다.

  1. The boundary touched Tabor, Shahazumah and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen towns and their villages.
  2. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar, clan by clan.
  3. The fifth lot came out for the tribe of Asher, clan by clan.
  4. Their territory included: Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,
  5. Allammelech, Amad and Mishal. On the west the boundary touched Carmel and Shihor Libnath.

  1. It then turned east toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El, and went north to Beth Emek and Neiel, passing Cabul on the left.
  2. It went to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.
  3. The boundary then turned back toward Ramah and went to the fortified city of Tyre, turned toward Hosah and came out at the sea in the region of Aczib,
  4. Ummah, Aphek and Rehob. There were twenty-two towns and their villages.
  5. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Asher, clan by clan.
  1. 여섯째로 납달리 지파를 위해 제비를 뽑았다.
  2. 그들의 경계선은 헬렙에서 시작하여 사아난님 상수리나무에 이르러 아다미-네겝, 얍느엘, 락굼을 지나 요단강에서 끝났다.

  1. The sixth lot came out for Naphtali, clan by clan:
  2. Their boundary went from Heleph and the large tree in Zaanannim, passing Adami Nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum and ending at the Jordan.
  3. The boundary ran west through Aznoth Tabor and came out at Hukkok. It touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west and the Jordan on the east.
  4. The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
  5. Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
  1. 게데스, 에드레이, 엔-하솔,

  3. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Naphtali, clan by clan.
  4. The seventh lot came out for the tribe of Dan, clan by clan.
  5. The territory of their inheritance included: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,
  1. 사알랍빈, 아얄론, 이들라,
  2. 엘론, 딤나, 에그론,
  3. 엘드게, 깁브돈, 바알랏,
  4. 여훗, 브네-브락, 가드-림몬,
  5. 메-얄곤, 락곤, 그리고 욥바 일대의 지역이었다.
  1. Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
  2. Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
  3. Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
  4. Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,
  5. Me Jarkon and Rakkon, with the area facing Joppa.
  1. 이상은 단 지파가 집안별로 분배받은 땅이다. 그러나 단 지파는 자기들이 분배받은 땅을 잃어버렸다. 그래서 그들은 라이스로 올라가서 그 곳 주민들을 쳐죽이고 그 땅을 점령하여 거기서 정착하였다. 그리고 그들은 자기들 조상의 이름을 따서 그 곳을 단이라고 불렀다.

  1. (But the Danites had difficulty taking possession of their territory, so they went up and attacked Leshem, took it, put it to the sword and occupied it. They settled in Leshem and named it Dan after their forefather.)
  2. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Dan, clan by clan.
  3. When they had finished dividing the land into its allotted portions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them,
  4. as the LORD had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for--Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there.
  5. These are the territories that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh in the presence of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. And so they finished dividing the land.
 
  도피성(20:1-20:9)    
 
  1. 여호와께서는 여호수아를 통해
  2. 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '내가 모세에게 명령한 대로 너희는 도피성을 지정하여
  3. 과실로 사람을 죽인 자가 그리로 도망가서 피신하게 하라. 이 곳은 복수하려는 사람을 피하는 곳이다.
  4. 도피성으로 도망하는 자는 그 성문 입구에 서서 그 성의 지도자들에게 일어난 일을 설명하고 그 지도자들은 그를 받아들여 성 안에 있을 곳을 마련해 주어야 한다.
  5. 만일 복수하려고 찾는 자가 그 곳까지 따라와도 성의 지도자들은 그를 내주어서는 안 된다. 그는 본래 사람을 미워해서 죽인 것이 아니라 과실로 죽였기 때문에 보호를 받을 필요가 있다.
  1. Then the LORD said to Joshua:
  2. "Tell the Israelites to designate the cities of refuge, as I instructed you through Moses,
  3. so that anyone who kills a person accidentally and unintentionally may flee there and find protection from the avenger of blood.
  4. "When he flees to one of these cities, he is to stand in the entrance of the city gate and state his case before the elders of that city. Then they are to admit him into their city and give him a place to live with them.
  5. If the avenger of blood pursues him, they must not surrender the one accused, because he killed his neighbor unintentionally and without malice aforethought.
  1. 살인자는 공개 재판을 받거나 사건 발생 당시의 대제사장이 죽기까지 그 성에 머물러 있다가 그 후에 자기 집으로 돌아가야 한다.'
  2. 그래서 백성들은 도피성으로 납달리 산간 지대에 있는 갈릴리의 게데스와 에브라임 산간 지대의 세겜과 헤브론으로 알려진 유다 산간 지대의 기럇-아르바를 선정하고
  3. 또 여리고 맞은편 요단강 동쪽에서는 르우벤 지파의 광야 평원에 있는 베셀과 갓 지파의 땅에 있는 길르앗의 라못과 므낫세 지파의 땅에 있는 바산의 골란을 선정하였다.
  4. 이 모든 도피성은 이스라엘 백성뿐만 아니라 그들 가운데 사는 외국인도 과실로 사람을 죽였을 경우 그리로 도망가서 보복을 피해 공개 재판을 받을 때까지 피신할 수 있도록 마련된 곳이다.
  1. He is to stay in that city until he has stood trial before the assembly and until the death of the high priest who is serving at that time. Then he may go back to his own home in the town from which he fled."
  2. So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.
  3. On the east side of the Jordan of Jericho they designated Bezer in the desert on the plateau in the tribe of Reuben, Ramoth in Gilead in the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan in the tribe of Manasseh.
  4. Any of the Israelites or any alien living among them who killed someone accidentally could flee to these designated cities and not be killed by the avenger of blood prior to standing trial before the assembly.
 
  레위 지파의 성읍(21:1-21:26)    
 
  1. 그때 레위 지파의 지도자들이 가나안 땅의 실로에 있는 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아와 이스라엘 지파의 지도자들에게 와서 말하였다. '여호와께서는 모세를 통하여 우리가 살 성과 우리 가축을 먹일 목초지를 우리에게 주라고 명령하셨습니다.'
  2. (1절과 같음)
  3. 그래서 여호와의 명령에 따라 이스라엘 백성은 자기들의 땅 중에서 일부 성과 목초지를 레위 사람에게 주었다.
  4. 먼저 고핫 자손을 위해 제비를 뽑았는데 이들 중 제사장 아론의 자손들은 유다 지파와 시므온 지파와 베냐민 지파의 땅 중에서 13개의 성을 얻었다.
  5. 그리고 고핫의 나머지 자손들은 에브라임 지파와 단 지파와 므낫세 서쪽 반 지파의 땅 중에서 10개의 성을 얻었다.
  1. Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribal families of Israel
  2. at Shiloh in Canaan and said to them, "The LORD commanded through Moses that you give us towns to live in, with pasturelands for our livestock."
  3. So, as the LORD had commanded, the Israelites gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own inheritance:
  4. The first lot came out for the Kohathites, clan by clan. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin.
  5. The rest of Kohath's descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of the tribes of Ephraim, Dan and half of Manasseh.
  1. 또 게르손 자손들은 잇사갈 지파와 아셀 지파와 납달리 지파와 바산에 있는 므낫세 반 지파의 땅 중에서 13개의 성을 얻었고,
  2. 므라리 자손들은 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 스불론 지파의 땅 중에서 12개의 성을 얻었다.
  3. 이와 같이 이스라엘 백성은 목초지가 딸린 이 성들을 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 제비를 뽑아 레위 사람에게 나누어 주었다.
  4. 아론의 자손들이 유다 지파와 시므온 지파의 땅 중에서 얻은 성은 아래와 같다.
  5. 레위 지파 가운데서 고핫 자손의 제비가 먼저 뽑혔으므로 이들 아론의 자손들이 제일 먼저 성을 얻었다.
  1. The descendants of Gershon were allotted thirteen towns from the clans of the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali and the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
  2. The descendants of Merari, clan by clan, received twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.
  3. So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these towns and their pasturelands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.
  4. From the tribes of Judah and Simeon they allotted the following towns by name
  5. (these towns were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them):
  1. 이스라엘 백성은 그들에게 아낙의 조상 아르바의 이름을 딴 기럇-아르바성과 그 주변 목초지를 주었는데 현재 이 성은 헤브론이라고 불려지며 유다 산간 지대에 위치해 있다.
  2. 그러나 그 성 주변의 밭과 부락들은 여분네의 아들 갈렙이 계속 소유하도록 하였다.

  1. They gave them Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pastureland, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
  2. But the fields and villages around the city they had given to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession.
  3. So to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron (a city of refuge for one accused of murder), Libnah,
  4. Jattir, Eshtemoa,
  5. Holon, Debir,
  1. 아인, 윳다, 벧-세메스, 그리고 여기에 딸린 목초지였다. 이상의 9개 성은 아론의 자손이 유다 지파와 시므온 지파에게서 얻은 것이다.
  2. 그리고 그들은 베냐민 지파의 땅 중에서도 4개의 성을 얻었다. 그것은 기브온, 게바,
  3. 아나돗, 알몬, 그리고 여기에 딸린 목초지였다.

  3. Anathoth and Almon, together with their pasturelands--four towns.
  4. All the towns for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, were thirteen, together with their pasturelands.
  5. The rest of the Kohathite clans of the Levites were allotted towns from the tribe of Ephraim:
  1. 도피성 중의 하나인 에브라임 산간 지대의 세겜과 그리고 게셀과
  2. 깁사임과 벧-호론과 여기에 딸린 목초지로 모두 4개의 성이었다.
  3. 또 그들이 단 지파에게서 얻은 것은 엘드게와 깁브돈과
  4. 아얄론과 가드-림몬과 여기에 딸린 목초지로 모두 4개의 성이었다.
  5. 그리고 므낫세 서쪽 반 지파에게서 얻은 것은 다아낙과 가드-림몬과 여기에 딸린 목초지로 모두 2개의 성이었다.
  1. In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge for one accused of murder) and Gezer,
  2. Kibzaim and Beth Horon, together with their pasturelands--four towns.
  3. Also from the tribe of Dan they received Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
  4. Aijalon and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands--four towns.
  5. From half the tribe of Manasseh they received Taanach and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands--two towns.
  1. 이상 10개의 성과 그 주변 목초지는 고핫의 나머지 자손들이 얻은 것이다.
  1. All these ten towns and their pasturelands were given to the rest of the Kohathite clans.
 
  피의 보수자( 20:3)  피살자의 가장 가까운 친족으로 복수할 의무가 있는 자
