- 우리 조상들의 죄로 인해 우리를 벌하지 마소서. 우리가 아주 비참하게 되었습니다. 우리를 불쌍히 여기시고 우리를 영접하소서.
- 우리 구원의 하나님이시여. 주의 이름의 영광을 위하여 우리를 도우시며 우리를 구하시고 우리 죄를 용서하소서.
- 어째서 이방 나라들이 '너희 하나님이 어디 있느냐?' 하고 말하게 하십니까? 주의 백성의 피를 흘리게 한 자들에게 주는 보복하신다는 사실을 우리가 보는 데서 온 세상에 알리소서.
- 갇힌 자들과 죽게 된 자들이 신음하는 소리를 들으시고 주의 크신 능력으로 그들을 구하소서.
- 여호와여, 주를 비웃고 모욕한 우리 인접 국가들에게 칠 배나 갚으소서.

- Do not hold against us the sins of the fathers; may your mercy come quickly to meet us, for we are in desperate need.
- Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name's sake.
- Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?" Before our eyes, make known among the nations that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants.
- May the groans of the prisoners come before you; by the strength of your arm preserve those condemned to die.
- Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times the reproach they have hurled at you, O Lord.
