- 그들이 떠날 때 이집트 사람들이 기뻐하였으니 그들이 이스라엘 사람들을 두려워하였기 때문이었다.
- 여호와께서 구름을 펴셔서 따가운 햇볕을 막는 덮개가 되게 하시고 밤에는 불 기둥으로 그들의 갈길을 밝혀 주셨으며
- 그들이 요구하므로 메추라기를 보내 주시고 하늘의 양식으로 그들을 만족하게 하셨다.
- 그가 바위를 가르시자 물이 솟구쳐 나와 메마른 땅에 강처럼 흘렀으니
- 그의 종 아브라함에게 하신 그의 거룩한 약속을 기억하셨음이라.
