역대하 4:1-6:11

 성전에 비치할 여러 기구를 제조함으로써 성전 건축을 모두 마친 솔로몬은 다윗 성에 있던 언약궤를 새 성전으로 옮겨 안치하였다. 그리고 하나님께서 말씀하신 대로 성전을 건축하였음을 백성에게 선포하였다.
  
  성전 비품(4:1-4:22)    
 
  1. 솔로몬은 또 놋으로 단을 만들었다. 그 단의 길이와 폭은 각각 9미터이고 높이는 4.5미터였다.
  2. 그는 또 둥근 모양의 큰 물탱크 하나를 만들었다. 그것은 직경이 4.5미터, 높이가 약 2.3미터, 둘레는 13.5미터였으며
  3. 그 가장자리 아래에는 돌아가면서 4.5센티미터 간격으로 두 줄의 놋조롱박이 하나씩 달려 있었는데 이것은 물탱크와 하나로 주조된 것이었다.
  4. 그 물탱크는 서로 엉덩이를 맞대고 있는 열 두 마리의 놋소 위에 얹혀 있었으며 그 놋소들은 동서남북으로 각각 세 마리씩 바깥쪽으로 향하였다.

  1. He made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits high.
  2. He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it.
  3. Below the rim, figures of bulls encircled it--ten to a cubit. The bulls were cast in two rows in one piece with the Sea.
  4. The Sea stood on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east. The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center.
  5. It was a handbreadth in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths.
  1. 또 솔로몬은 제물을 씻을 물통 10개를 만들어 다섯은 성전 오른편에, 다섯은 성전 왼편에 두었다. 제사장들이 몸을 씻을 때는 이 물통을 사용하지 않고 물탱크를 사용하였다.
  2. 또 솔로몬은 하나님이 지시한 대로 금등대 열 개를 만들어 성전 안에 좌우로 다섯 개씩 놓았으며
  3. 상도 열 개를 만들어 성전 안의 좌우에 다섯 개씩 놓았고 또 금대접 100개도 만들었다.
  4. 그런 다음 그는 제사장들을 위한 안뜰과 일반 대중을 위한 바깥뜰을 만들고 이 뜰의 문을 놋으로 입혔다.
  5. 그리고 물탱크는 성전 우측의 남동쪽 모퉁이에 두었다.
  1. He then made ten basins for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. In them the things to be used for the burnt offerings were rinsed, but the Sea was to be used by the priests for washing.
  2. He made ten gold lampstands according to the specifications for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.
  3. He made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. He also made a hundred gold sprinkling bowls.
  4. He made the courtyard of the priests, and the large court and the doors for the court, and overlaid the doors with bronze.
  5. He placed the Sea on the south side, at the southeast corner.
  1. 후람은 또 솥과 부삽과 대접을 만들어 솔로몬왕이 지시한 성전 일을 다 완성하였다.
  2. 그가 만든 것은 두 개의 기둥, 기둥 꼭대기에 얹을 두 개의 기둥머리, 꽃줄 모양의 두 그물 장식,
  3. 기둥머리 그물에 두 줄로 단 400개의 놋석류,
  4. 물통과 그 받침대,
  5. 물탱크와 그것을 떠받치는 열 두 마리의 놋소,
  1. He also made the pots and shovels and sprinkling bowls. So Huram finished the work he had undertaken for King Solomon in the temple of God:
  2. the two pillars; the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars; the two sets of network decorating the two bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars;
  3. the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of network (two rows of pomegranates for each network, decorating the bowl-shaped capitals on top of the pillars
  4. the stands with their basins;
  5. the Sea and the twelve bulls under it;
  1. 그 밖에 솥과 부삽과 고기 갈고리였다. 후람은 솔로몬왕을 위해 이 모든 것을 빛나는 놋으로 만들었는데
  2. 솔로몬왕은 숙곳과 사르단 사이에 있는 요단 평야에서 찰흙으로 주형을 떠서 그 모든 기구를 만들도록 하였다.
  3. 이처럼 솔로몬왕이 만든 물건이 너무 많아 그 놋의 중량을 아무도 측정할 수가 없었다.
  4. 또 솔로몬은 성전 안의 모든 기구도 만들었다. 그것은 제단, 항상 빵을 차려 놓는 차림상,
  5. 지성소 앞에서 불을 켤 등대와 등잔,
  1. the pots, shovels, meat forks and all related articles. All the objects that Huram-Abi made for King Solomon for the temple of the LORD were of polished bronze.
  2. The king had them cast in clay molds in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth and Zarethan.
  3. All these things that Solomon made amounted to so much that the weight of the bronze was not determined.
  4. Solomon also made all the furnishings that were in God's temple: the golden altar; the tables on which was the bread of the Presence;
  5. the lampstands of pure gold with their lamps, to burn in front of the inner sanctuary as prescribed;
  1. 꽃장식물, 부젓가락,
  2. 불 집게, 주발, 숟가락, 그리고 불 옮기는 그릇이었다. 이 모든 것은 순금으로 만들었으며 지성소 문과 성전 출입문도 모두 금으로 입혔다.
  1. the gold floral work and lamps and tongs (they were solid gold
  2. the pure gold wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, dishes and censers; and the gold doors of the temple: the inner doors to the Most Holy Place and the doors of the main hall.
 
  언약궤 안치(5:1-5:14)    
 
  1. 이렇게 해서 마침내 성전 건축은 끝났다. 솔로몬은 자기 아버지 다윗이 여호와께 드린 모든 것을 가져다가 성전 창고에 넣어 두었다.
  2. 그런 다음에 솔로몬은 여호와의 법궤를 다윗성 곧 시온에서 성전으로 옮기려고 이스라엘의 모든 장로들과 각 지파의 지도자들과 족장들을 예루살렘으로 소집하였다.
  3. 그들이 왕 앞에 모인 때는 7월의 초막절이었다.
  4. 이스라엘의 지도자들이 다 모이자 레위인들이 법궤를 메고 성전으로 올라갔다. 레위인들과 제사장들은 성막과 성막 안의 모든 기구도 성전으로 옮겼다.

  1. When all the work Solomon had done for the temple of the LORD was finished, he brought in the things his father David had dedicated--the silver and gold and all the furnishings--and he placed them in the treasuries of God's temple.
  2. Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the LORD's covenant from Zion, the City of David.
  3. And all the men of Israel came together to the king at the time of the festival in the seventh month.
  4. When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites took up the ark,
  5. and they brought up the ark and the Tent of Meeting and all the sacred furnishings in it. The priests, who were Levites, carried them up;
  1. 그리고 솔로몬왕과 이스라엘 백성들은 법궤 앞에 모여 양과 소를 바쳐 제사를 드렸는데 그 수가 너무 많아 다 셀 수가 없었다.
  2. 그런 다음 제사장들은 여호와의 법궤를 성전 안으로 메어들여 지성소의 그룹 천사 날개 아래 두었다.
  3. 그 그룹 천사들의 날개는 법궤와 그 운반채 위를 덮었다.
  4. 그 운반채는 너무 길어 그 끝이 지성소 앞에서는 보였으나 성소 밖에서는 보이지 않았다. 이것은 오늘날까지도 그 곳에 그대로 있다.
  5. 그리고 그 법궤 안에는 이스라엘 민족이 이집트에서 나온 후에 여호와께서 그들과 계약을 맺었던 시내산에서 모세가 넣어 둔 두 돌판 밖에 없었다.
  1. and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.
  2. The priests then brought the ark of the LORD's covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim.
  3. The cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark and covered the ark and its carrying poles.
  4. These poles were so long that their ends, extending from the ark, could be seen from in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today.
  5. There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.
  1. 이때 자기 직무에 관계없이 몸을 정결하게 한 제사장들이 성소에서 나오자 성가대원인 레위 사람 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔과 그리고 그들의 아들들과 친척들이 고운 모시 옷을 입고 제단 동쪽에 서서 제금과 비파와 수금을 타고 또 제사장 120명이 나팔을 불었다.
  2. (11절과 같음)
  3. 그들은 나팔을 불고 제금을 치며 그 밖의 다른 악기를 연주하면서 일제히 소리를 높여 여호와께 감사하며 이렇게 찬양하였다. '여호와는 선하시고 그의 사랑은 영원하다!' 바로 그때 빛나는 구름이 여호와의 성전을 가득 채웠다.
  4. 그래서 제사장들은 그 영광의 광채 때문에 자기들의 직무를 계속 수행할 수가 없었다.
  1. The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions.
  2. All the Levites who were musicians--Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives--stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets.
  3. The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: "He is good; his love endures forever." Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud,
  4. and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple of God.
 
  솔로몬의 성전 낙성 보고(6:1-6:11)    
 
  1. 그때 솔로몬이 이렇게 말하였다. '여호와여, 주께서는 캄캄한 구름 가운데 계시겠다고 말씀하셨습니다.
  2. 그러나 내가 주께서 영원히 계실 성전을 지었습니다.'
  3. 그리고서 솔로몬왕은 그 곳에 모인 이스라엘 군중을 향해 축복하고 이렇게 말하였다.
  4. '이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 찬양합니다. 여호와께서는 내 아버지에게 약속하신 것을 지키셨는데 그 약속은 이런 것이었습니다.
  5. '내가 내 백성을 이집트에서 이끌어낸 날부터 지금까지 내가 경배를 받을 성전을 짓기 위해 이스라엘 땅에서 그 어느 성도 택하지 않았으며 내 백성 이스라엘을 다스릴 왕을 택한 일도 없다. 그러나 이제 나는 내가 경배받을 성으로 예루살렘을 택하고 내 백성을 다스릴 왕으로 너 다윗을 택하였다.'
  1. Then Solomon said, "The LORD has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;
  2. I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever."
  3. While the whole assembly of Israel was standing there, the king turned around and blessed them.
  4. Then he said: "Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David. For he said,
  5. 'Since the day I brought my people out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built for my Name to be there, nor have I chosen anyone to be the leader over my people Israel.

  2. 나의 아버지는 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 성전을 건축할 마음이 있었으나
  3. 여호와께서는 내 아버지에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. '네가 나를 위해 성전을 건축하겠다는 뜻은 좋으나
  4. 너는 그것을 건축하지 못할 것이며 네가 낳을 네 아들이 내 성전을 건축할 것이다.'
  5. 이제 여호와께서는 이 약속을 지키셨습니다. 나는 여호와께서 약속하신 대로 내 아버지를 이어 이스라엘의 왕이 되었고 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 성전을 건축하여
  1. But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.'
  2. "My father David had it in his heart to build a temple for the Name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
  3. But the LORD said to my father David, 'Because it was in your heart to build a temple for my Name, you did well to have this in your heart.
  4. Nevertheless, you are not the one to build the temple, but your son, who is your own flesh and blood--he is the one who will build the temple for my Name.'
  5. "The LORD has kept the promise he made. I have succeeded David my father and now I sit on the throne of Israel, just as the LORD promised, and I have built the temple for the Name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
  1. 여호와께서 이스라엘 백성과 맺은 계약의 돌판이 들어 있는 법궤를 그 안에 안치하였습니다.'
  1. There I have placed the ark, in which is the covenant of the LORD that he made with the people of Israel."
