에스겔 4:1-6:14

 하나님께서는 에스겔의 상징적 행동을 통해 예루살렘에 임할 임박한 심판의 상황을 미리 보여 주셨다. 그것은 백성들의 죄로 인해 예루살렘이 바벨론 군대에 의해 포위당하고 그 성에 온역과 전쟁과 기근이 임하며 이스라엘 온 땅이 우상 숭배로 파멸된다는 것이었다. 그러나 포로로 잡혀간 백성들 중 남은 자는 회개할 것임을 말씀하셨다.
  
  예루살렘의 멸망을 상징하는 예언적 행동(4:1-5:17)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 다시 나에게 말씀하셨다. '사람의 아들아, 너는 넓적한 돌 하나를 가져다가 네 앞에 놓고 예루살렘성을 그 위에 그려라.
  2. 그리고서 그 둘레에 토성을 쌓고 흉벽을 만들며 사다리를 세우고 또 적 진지를 만들고 성벽을 부수는 공성퇴를 그 성벽 둘레에 세워 놓아라.
  3. 그런 다음 너는 칠판 하나를 가져다가 너와 그 성 사이에 철 성벽처럼 세우고 적이 성을 포위하는 것처럼 그 성을 포위하라. 이것이 이스라엘 백성에게 하나의 징조가 될 것이다.
  4. 그리고서 너는 왼쪽으로 누워 이스라엘 백성의 죄를 담당하라. 그들이 지은 죄 때문에 너는 거기서 390일 동안 누워서 고통을 당하게 될 것이며 네가 누워 있는 그 날 수는 이스라엘 백성이 받아야 할 형벌의 햇수를 가리킨다.

  1. "Now, son of man, take a clay tablet, put it in front of you and draw the city of Jerusalem on it.
  2. Then lay siege to it: Erect siege works against it, build a ramp up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it.
  3. Then take an iron pan, place it as an iron wall between you and the city and turn your face toward it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it. This will be a sign to the house of Israel.
  4. "Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the house of Israel upon yourself. You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side.
  5. I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the house of Israel.
  1. 그 날 수가 다 차거든 너는 오른쪽으로 누워 유다 백성의 죄를 담당하라. 이번에는 네가 누워서 고통을 받아야 할 날을 40일로 정하였으니 그 하루는 1년을 가리킨다.
  2. 너는 또 포위당한 예루살렘을 향하여 팔을 걷어제치고 예언하라.
  3. 내가 줄로 너를 동여매어 네가 포위한 그 날 수를 채우기까지 네 몸을 움직이지 못하게 할 것이다.
  4. 너는 밀과 보리와 콩과 팥과 조와 귀리를 한 그릇에 담아 그것으로 빵을 만들어 네가 누워 있을 390일 동안 먹어라.
  5. 그리고 너는 먹을 음식을 매일 약 230그램씩 달아서 정한 때에 먹고
  1. "After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the house of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year.
  2. Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her.
  3. I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.
  4. "Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use them to make bread for yourself. You are to eat it during the 390 days you lie on your side.
  5. Weigh out twenty shekels of food to eat each day and eat it at set times.
  1. 물도 하루에 약 6데시리터 정도 되어서 일정하게 마셔라.
  2. 너는 음식을 보리빵처럼 만들어 먹되 그들이 보는 앞에서 사람의 똥으로 불을 피워 그것을 구워서 먹어라.'
  3. 여호와께서 다시 말씀하셨다. '내가 세계 각처로 흩어 버릴 이스라엘 백성이 이방 나라에서 이와 같은 부정한 음식을 먹게 될 것이다.'
  4. 그때 나는 이렇게 대답하였다. '아닙니다. 주 여호와여, 나는 자신을 더럽혀 본 일이 없습니다. 나는 어려서부터 지금까지 죽은 것이나 들짐승에게 찢긴 것을 먹지 않았고 부정한 고기는 입에 대지도 않았습니다.'
  5. 그러자 여호와께서 '좋다. 그러면 사람 똥 대신에 쇠똥으로 빵을 구워라.' 하고 말씀하셨다.
  1. Also measure out a sixth of a hin of water and drink it at set times.
  2. Eat the food as you would a barley cake; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement for fuel."
  3. The LORD said, "In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them."
  4. Then I said, "Not so, Sovereign LORD! I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything found dead or torn by wild animals. No unclean meat has ever entered my mouth."
  5. "Very well," he said, "I will let you bake your bread over cow manure instead of human excrement."
  1. 여호와께서 나에게 다시 말씀하셨다. '사람의 아들아, 내가 예루살렘에 식량 공급을 끊어 버리겠다. 백성들이 낙심하며 양식을 달아 먹고 근심 중에 물을 되어 마실 것이다.
  2. 그러다가 양식과 물이 떨어지면 그들은 절망 가운데서 서로의 비참한 모습을 보고 놀라며 자기들의 죄 때문에 시들어 갈 것이다.'
  1. He then said to me: "Son of man, I will cut off the supply of food in Jerusalem. The people will eat rationed food in anxiety and drink rationed water in despair,
  2. for food and water will be scarce. They will be appalled at the sight of each other and will waste away because of their sin.
 
 
  1. '사람의 아들아, 너는 이발사의 면도칼처럼 날카로운 칼을 가져다가 네 머리털과 수염을 밀고 그것을 저울에 달아 셋으로 똑같이 나누어 두었다가
  2. 네가 그 성을 포위하고 있는 날수가 차거든 그 털의 3분의 1은 성 안에서 불사르고 또 3분의 1은 성 주변에서 칼로 치고 나머지 3분의 1은 바람에 흩어 버려라. 내가 칼을 빼서 그 뒤를 따를 것이다.
  3. 그리고 너는 그 털 중에서 몇 가닥을 네 옷자락에 싸 두었다가
  4. 다시 그 가운데서 얼마를 끄집어내어 그것을 불에 던져 사르라. 거기서 불이 나와 온 이스라엘에 번질 것이다.'
  5. 주 여호와께서 다시 말씀하셨다. '이것이 바로 예루살렘이다. 내가 그를 여러 나라의 중앙에 세워 다른 나라들로 둘러싸이게 하였으나
  1. "Now, son of man, take a sharp sword and use it as a barber's razor to shave your head and your beard. Then take a set of scales and divide up the hair.
  2. When the days of your siege come to an end, burn a third of the hair with fire inside the city. Take a third and strike it with the sword all around the city. And scatter a third to the wind. For I will pursue them with drawn sword.
  3. But take a few strands of hair and tuck them away in the folds of your garment.
  4. Again, take a few of these and throw them into the fire and burn them up. A fire will spread from there to the whole house of Israel.
  5. "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her.
  1. 그가 내 명령을 거역하고 내 법을 어겨 그 주변의 이방인들보다 더 많은 악을 행하였다. 이것은 그가 내 법을 거절하고 내가 정한 규정대로 행하지 않았기 때문이다.
  2. 그러므로 예루살렘아, 나 주 여호와가 하는 말을 들어라. 너는 네 주변에 있는 이방인들보다 더 많은 소란을 피우고 내 법과 규정을 지키지 않았을 뿐만 아니라 네 주변 인접국들의 규범대로도 행하지 않았다.

  4. 이와 같이 네가 모든 더러운 짓을 하였으므로 내가 전에도 없었고 앞으로도 없을 벌을 너에게 내릴 것이다.
  5. 그러므로 예루살렘에서 아버지가 자식을 먹고 자식이 아버지를 먹는 일이 있을 것이다. 내가 벌을 너에게 내리고 살아 남은 자를 사방에 흩어 버리겠다.
  1. Yet in her wickedness she has rebelled against my laws and decrees more than the nations and countries around her. She has rejected my laws and has not followed my decrees.
  2. "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: You have been more unruly than the nations around you and have not followed my decrees or kept my laws. You have not even conformed to the standards of the nations around you.
  3. "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations.
  4. Because of all your detestable idols, I will do to you what I have never done before and will never do again.
  5. Therefore in your midst fathers will eat their children, and children will eat their fathers. I will inflict punishment on you and will scatter all your survivors to the winds.
  1. 그러므로 살아 있는 나 주 여호와가 분명히 말하지만 네가 모든 우상과 더러운 행위로 내 성소를 더럽혔으니 나도 너를 아끼지 않고 너를 불쌍히 여기지 않을 것이다.
  2. 네 백성 중 3분의 1은 너의 성 안에서 무서운 질병이나 기근으로 죽을 것이며 또 3분의 1은 너의 성 밖에서 칼날에 죽고 나머지 3분의 1은 내가 사방에 흩어 버리고 칼로 그 뒤를 추격할 것이다.
  3. 내가 분풀이를 다 한 다음에야 그들에 대한 내 분이 풀려서 내 마음이 시원할 것이다. 내가 나의 분노를 그들에게 다 쏟아 버리면 그들은 나 여호와가 열심으로 말한 사실을 알게 될 것이다.
  4. 내가 또 너를 황폐하게 하여 네 주변에 있는 인접국들과 그 곳으로 지나가는 모든 사람들에게 치욕거리가 되게 하겠다.
  5. 내가 분노하여 무서운 책망으로 너를 벌할 것이니 네가 주변 나라들에게 수치와 고통을 당하고 경고와 두려움의 대상이 될 것이다.
  1. Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practices, I myself will withdraw my favor; I will not look on you with pity or spare you.
  2. A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.
  3. "Then my anger will cease and my wrath against them will subside, and I will be avenged. And when I have spent my wrath upon them, they will know that I the LORD have spoken in my zeal.
  4. "I will make you a ruin and a reproach among the nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by.
  5. You will be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and an object of horror to the nations around you when I inflict punishment on you in anger and in wrath and with stinging rebuke. I the LORD have spoken.
  1. 내가 기근의 무서운 화살로 너희를 쏘아 멸망시키되 기근을 점점 더 심하게 하여 너희 식량 공급을 끊어 버리겠다.
  2. 내가 기근과 맹수를 너희에게 보내 너희 가족을 죽일 것이며 너희 가운데 무서운 질병과 전쟁을 보내 피비린내 나는 일이 일어나도록 하겠다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. When I shoot at you with my deadly and destructive arrows of famine, I will shoot to destroy you. I will bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of food.
  2. I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will leave you childless. Plague and bloodshed will sweep through you, and I will bring the sword against you. I the LORD have spoken."
 
  우상 숭배에 대한 심판(6:1-6:14)    
 
  1. 여호와께서는 이스라엘 산들을 향하여 이렇게 예언하라고 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. (1절과 같음)
  3. '이스라엘 산들아, 주 여호와의 말씀을 들어라. 주 여호와께서 높고 낮은 산들과 강 유역과 골짜기에 대하여 이런 말씀을 하셨다. '내가 칼을 너희에게 보내 너희 산당을 없애 버리겠다.
  4. 너희 제단은 무너지고 너희 분향단은 파괴 될 것이며 모든 백성이 너희 우상 앞에서 죽임을 당할 것이다.
  5. 내가 이스라엘 백성의 시체를 그 우상 앞에 두고 그 뼈를 너희 제단 사방이 흩어 버릴 것이다.
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, set your face against the mountains of Israel; prophesy against them
  3. and say: 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign LORD. This is what the Sovereign LORD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.
  4. Your altars will be demolished and your incense altars will be smashed; and I will slay your people in front of your idols.
  5. I will lay the dead bodies of the Israelites in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars.
  1. 너희가 사는 곳마다 성들이 황폐해지고 산당이 무너지며 너희 제단과 우상들이 박살나고 너희 분향단이 깨어지고 너희가 만든 모든 것이 없어질 것이다.
  2. 너희 백성들이 곳곳에서 죽임을 당할 것이니 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
  3. 그러나 나는 너희 중 일부가 칼날을 피해 세계 각처로 흩어지게 하겠다.
  4. 너희 중에 칼날을 피한 자들이 포로로 사로잡혀간 나라에서 나를 기억할 것이며 자기들이 음란한 마음으로 나를 떠나고 나보다 우상을 더 좋아하고 섬겼기 때문에 내가 그들을 벌하고 부끄럽게 한 것을 알고 한탄하며 자기들이 행한 악과 더러운 일에 대해서 자신들을 증오할 것이다.
  5. 그제서야 그들은 내가 여호와인 것과 내가 이런 재앙을 그들에게 내리겠다고 경고한 말이 헛된 것이 아님을 알게 될 것이다.'
  1. Wherever you live, the towns will be laid waste and the high places demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and devastated, your idols smashed and ruined, your incense altars broken down, and what you have made wiped out.
  2. Your people will fall slain among you, and you will know that I am the LORD.
  3. " 'But I will spare some, for some of you will escape the sword when you are scattered among the lands and nations.
  4. Then in the nations where they have been carried captive, those who escape will remember me--how I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts, which have turned away from me, and by their eyes, which have lusted after their idols. They will loathe themselves for the evil they have done and for all their detestable practices.
  5. And they will know that I am the LORD; I did not threaten in vain to bring this calamity on them.
  1. 주 여호와께서 또 말씀하셨다. '너는 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며 이스라엘 백성이 더럽고 추한 악을 행하였으므로 전쟁과 기근과 질병으로 망할 것이라고 말하라.
  2. 먼 데 있는 자들은 질병으로 죽고 가까이 있는 자들은 전쟁에 죽고 살아 남은 자들은 굶어서 죽을 것이다. 이와 같이 내가 분노를 그들에게 쏟아 버리겠다.
  3. 죽임을 당한 자들의 시체가 우상들 사이와 제단 사방과 모든 산꼭대기와 높은 고개와 모든 푸른나무 아래와 상수리나무 아래와 그들이 우상에게 제사 지내던 모든 곳에 흩어질 것이며 그제서야 모든 사람이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  4. 내가 손을 들어 그들을 치고 남쪽 광야에서부터 북쪽 리블라까지 그들의 땅을 모조리 황폐하게 할 것이니 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.'
  1. " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out "Alas!" because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the house of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague.
  2. He that is far away will die of the plague, and he that is near will fall by the sword, and he that survives and is spared will die of famine. So will I spend my wrath upon them.
  3. And they will know that I am the LORD, when their people lie slain among their idols around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak--places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols.
  4. And I will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah --wherever they live. Then they will know that I am the LORD.' "
