에스겔 12:1-13:23

 에스겔은 행구를 옮기는 상징적 행동을 통해 이스라엘이 포로될 것을 보여 주었고, 예루살렘 거민이 강포로 인해 근심하며 놀랄 것이라고 예언하였다. 그러나 거짓 선지자들은 예루살렘이 조속히 번영될 것이라고 거짓 예언을 함으로써 백성들을 미혹시켰다. 이에 하나님께서는 이스라엘과 거짓 선지자들의 심판을 선포하셨고, 하나님의 백성들을 건지시겠다고 약속하셨다.
  
  이스라엘 멸망의 상징(12:1-12:28)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 다시 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 너는 아주 못된 백성 가운데 살고 있다. 그들은 볼 수 있는 눈을 가지고도 보지 않으며 듣는 귀를 가지고도 듣지 않으니 이것은 그들이 거역하는 백성이기 때문이다.
  3. 사람의 아들아, 이제 너는 짐을 꾸려 대낮에 그들이 보는 데서 네가 있는 곳을 떠나 다른 곳으로 가거라. 그들이 비록 거역하는 백성이라도 네가 떠나는 것을 보면 아마 깨달을 것이다.
  4. 낮에는 그들이 보는 앞에서 피난민처럼 네 짐을 밖으로 내고 저녁때에는 그들이 보는 데서 네가 포로 되어 가는 것처럼 떠나라.
  5. 너는 그들이 지켜보는 가운데서 네 집의 벽을 뚫고 그리로 짐을 내어
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.
  3. "Therefore, son of man, pack your belongings for exile and in the daytime, as they watch, set out and go from where you are to another place. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house.
  4. During the daytime, while they watch, bring out your belongings packed for exile. Then in the evening, while they are watching, go out like those who go into exile.
  5. While they watch, dig through the wall and take your belongings out through it.
  1. 그들이 보는 데서 네 짐을 어깨에 메고 어두움 속으로 사라져야 한다. 그때 너는 땅을 보지 않도록 얼굴을 가려라. 네가 행하는 이 모든 일이 이스라엘 백성에게 하나의 징조가 될 것이다.'
  2. 그래서 나는 명령을 받은 대로 낮에 피난민처럼 짐을 꾸려 저녁때에 내 손으로 우리 집 벽을 뚫고 짐을 밖으로 내어 그들이 보는 데서 어깨에 메고 떠났다.
  3. 다음 날 아침에 여호와께서 말씀하셨다.
  4. '사람의 아들아, 거역하는 이스라엘 백성들이 네가 무엇을 하느냐고 묻지 않았느냐?
  5. 너는 나 주 여호와가 그들에게 하는 말을 전하라. 이것은 예루살렘에 있는 왕과 이스라엘 백성을 위한 것이다.
  1. Put them on your shoulder as they are watching and carry them out at dusk. Cover your face so that you cannot see the land, for I have made you a sign to the house of Israel."
  2. So I did as I was commanded. During the day I brought out my things packed for exile. Then in the evening I dug through the wall with my hands. I took my belongings out at dusk, carrying them on my shoulders while they watched.
  3. In the morning the word of the LORD came to me:
  4. "Son of man, did not that rebellious house of Israel ask you, 'What are you doing?'
  5. "Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: This oracle concerns the prince in Jerusalem and the whole house of Israel who are there.'
  1. 너는 네가 행한 것이 앞으로 그들에게 일어날 일의 징조라고 말해 주어라. 그들은 포로로 잡혀갈 것이다.
  2. 왕은 저녁 어두울 때에 짐을 어깨에 메고 나가되 백성들이 뚫어 준 성벽 구멍으로 짐을 내어 피신할 것이며 나갈 때에 얼굴을 가리고 땅을 보지 않을 것이다.
  3. 그러나 나는 내 그물을 펴서 그를 잡아 갈대아 사람들의 땅인 바빌론으로 끌고 가겠다. 그러나 그는 그 땅을 보지 못하고 거기서 죽을 것이다.
  4. 내가 그의 신하들과 경호원들을 사방 흩어 버리고 칼로 그들을 추격할 것이다.
  5. 내가 그들을 사방 분산시켜 이방나라에 흩어 버리면 그제서야 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  1. Say to them, 'I am a sign to you.' "As I have done, so it will be done to them. They will go into exile as captives.
  2. "The prince among them will put his things on his shoulder at dusk and leave, and a hole will be dug in the wall for him to go through. He will cover his face so that he cannot see the land.
  3. I will spread my net for him, and he will be caught in my snare; I will bring him to Babylonia, the land of the Chaldeans, but he will not see it, and there he will die.
  4. I will scatter to the winds all those around him--his staff and all his troops--and I will pursue them with drawn sword.
  5. "They will know that I am the LORD, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries.
  1. 그러나 내가 그들 중에 소수의 사람들을 전쟁과 기근과 질병 가운데서도 살아 남게 하여 그들의 행위가 얼마나 악하고 추한 것임을 그들이 간 나라에서 깨닫게 하겠다. 그러면 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.'
  2. 여호와께서 또 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  3. '사람의 아들아, 너는 떨면서 음식을 먹고 놀라고 근심하면서 물을 마셔라.
  4. 그리고서 너는 이 땅 백성들에게 말하라. : 주 여호와께서 예루살렘과 이스라엘 땅에 사는 사람들에 대하여 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. '그들이 근심하면서 음식을 먹고 절망 가운데서 물을 마실 것이다. 이것은 그 곳에 사는 모든 사람들의 죄로 그들의 땅이 모조리 황폐해질 것이기 때문이다.
  5. 사람들이 사는 성들이 황폐해지고 못 쓰게 되면 그제야 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.'
  1. But I will spare a few of them from the sword, famine and plague, so that in the nations where they go they may acknowledge all their detestable practices. Then they will know that I am the LORD."
  2. The word of the LORD came to me:
  3. "Son of man, tremble as you eat your food, and shudder in fear as you drink your water.
  4. Say to the people of the land: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says about those living in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel: They will eat their food in anxiety and drink their water in despair, for their land will be stripped of everything in it because of the violence of all who live there.
  5. The inhabited towns will be laid waste and the land will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' "
  1. 여호와께서 다시 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 이스라엘 땅에서 사람들이 '날은 지나가고 환상은 이루어지지 않는다.' 하는데 이 속담이 어찌된 것이냐?
  3. 이제 너는 그들에게 나 여호와가 하는 말을 전하라. '내가 이 속담을 그치게 하겠다. 사람들이 다시는 이스라엘 땅에서 이 속담을 사용하지 못할 것이다. 이제 모든 환상이 이루어질 날이 가까왔다.
  4. 앞으로는 이스라엘에 거짓된 환상이나 잘못된 예언이 없을 것이다.
  5. 나 주 여호와가 말하지만 내가 하는 말이 지연되지 않고 이루어질 것이다. 거역하는 백성아, 내가 너희 생전에 내가 말하는 것을 이룰 것이다. 이것은 나 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: 'The days go by and every vision comes to nothing'?
  3. Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.' Say to them, 'The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.
  4. For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel.
  5. But I the LORD will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious house, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
  1. 여호와께서 또 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아. 이스라엘 백성은 너의 환상과 예언이 먼 미래의 것이라고 말하고 있다.
  3. 그러므로 너는 그들에게 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 일러 주어라. '이제는 지체되는 일이 없이 내가 한 말이 다 이루어질 것이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.'
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, the house of Israel is saying, 'The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.'
  3. "Therefore say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
 
  거짓 예언자들에 대한 정죄(13:1-13:23)    
 
  1. 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.
  2. '사람의 아들아, 너는 자기 멋대로 지어내서 예언하는 거짓 예언자들에게 이렇게 말하라. : 너희는 여호와의 말씀을 들어라.
  3. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. '아무것도 본 것이 없이 자기 상상에 따라 제멋대로 예언하는 어리석은 예언자들에게 화가 있을 것이다!
  4. 이스라엘 백성들아, 너희 예언자들은 폐허가 된 성에 어슬렁거리는 여우와 같다.
  5. 그들은 성이 무너진 곳에 올라가지도 않았고 여호와의 날에 전쟁을 대비하여 이스라엘 백성을 위해 성벽을 수리하려고 하지도 않았다.
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: 'Hear the word of the LORD!
  3. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
  4. Your prophets, O Israel, are like jackals among ruins.
  5. You have not gone up to the breaks in the wall to repair it for the house of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the LORD.
  1. 그들의 환상은 거짓되고 그들의 예언은 다 거짓말이다. 그들이 내 말을 하는 것처럼 하지만 나는 그들을 보낸 적이 없다. 그러면서도 그들은 자기들의 말이 이루어지기를 기대하고 있다.
  2. 그들은 내가 말하지 않은 것도 내 말이라고 하니 어찌 거짓된 환상을 보고 엉터리 예언을 한 것이 아니겠느냐?
  3. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 그들이 거짓된 환상을 보고 거짓말을 하니 내가 그들을 치겠다.
  4. 내가 거짓 환상을 보고 엉터리 예언을 하는 예언자들을 쳐서 벌할 것이니 그들이 내 백성의 공회에 참석하지 못하고 이스라엘 백성의 호적에 기록되지 못할 것이며 자기 땅을 다시 보지 못할 것이다. 그러면 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  5. 그들은 내 백성을 유혹하여 평안이 없는데도 평안이 있다고 말하며 내 백성이 엉성하게 쌓아 놓은 담 위에 회칠을 하고 있다.
  1. Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. They say, "The LORD declares," when the LORD has not sent them; yet they expect their words to be fulfilled.
  2. Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, "The LORD declares," though I have not spoken?
  3. " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.
  4. My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.
  5. " 'Because they lead my people astray, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash,
  1. 그러므로 너는 그 회칠하는 예언자들에게 내 말을 이렇게 전하라. '너희가 회칠한 담이 무너질 것이다. 폭우가 쏟아지며 우박 덩어리가 떨어지고 폭풍이 불어닥칠 것이니
  2. 그 담이 무너져 내릴 것이다. 그러면 사람들이 너희에게 회칠한 것이 무슨 소용이 있느냐고 묻지 않겠느냐?
  3. 그러므로 나 여호와가 말한다. 내가 분노하여 폭풍이 일게 하고 폭우가 쏟아지게 하며 큰 우박 덩어리를 떨어지게 하여
  4. 너희가 회칠한 담을 헐고 박살을 내어 그 기초가 드러나게 할 것이다. 그 담이 무너져서 너희가 거기에 치이면 그제서야 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.'
  5. 담과 그 담을 회칠한 자들에게 내가 분노를 쏟고 또 내가 너희에게 담도 없어지고 그 담을 회칠한 자들도 없어졌다고 말할 것이다.
  1. therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth.
  2. When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, "Where is the whitewash you covered it with?"
  3. " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury.
  4. I will tear down the wall you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it falls, you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the LORD.
  5. So I will spend my wrath against the wall and against those who covered it with whitewash. I will say to you, "The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it,
  1. 이들은 예루살렘에 대하여 예언하고 평안이 없는데도 평안의 환상을 본다는 이스라엘의 예언자들이다. 이것은 나 주 여호와의 말이다.'
  2. 여호와께서 다시 나에게 말씀하셨다. '사람의 아들아, 너는 자기 멋대로 지어내서 예언하는 여자 예언자들을 책망하고 그들에게 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다고 전하라.' '사람들을 유혹하려고 팔목에 마법의 띠를 매고 머리에 쓸 온갖 수건을 만드는 여자들에게 화가 있을 것이다. 너희가 어째서 내 백성의 생명을 사냥하고 너희는 살려고 하느냐?
  3. (17절과 같음)
  4. 너희가 몇 움큼의 보리와 몇 조각의 빵을 위해 내 백성 앞에서 나를 욕되게 하였다. 너희가 내 백성에게 거짓말을 하여 죽어서는 안 될 자를 죽이고 살아서는 안 될 자를 살려 주는구나.
  5. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말한다. 너희가 새를 사냥하는 것처럼 내 백성의 생명을 사냥하는 그 마법의 팔띠를 내가 너희 팔에서 떼어 버리고 너희가 새처럼 사냥한 그 사람들을 내가 놓아 주겠다.
  1. those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Sovereign LORD." '
  2. "Now, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them
  3. and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own?
  4. You have profaned me among my people for a few handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.
  5. " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free the people that you ensnare like birds.
  1. 또 내가 너희 수건을 찢고 내 백성을 너희 손에서 건져내어 다시는 너희 희생물이 되지 않게 하겠다. 그제서야 너희가 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.
  2. 나도 슬프게 하지 않은 의로운 자들을 너희가 거짓말로 낙심하게 하고 또 너희가 악인을 격려하여 악한 길에서 떠나지 못하게 하고 생명을 얻지 못하게 하였으므로
  3. 너희가 다시는 거짓된 환상을 보거나 예언을 하지 못할 것이다. 내가 내 백성을 너희 손에서 건져낼 것이니 너희가 그제서야 나를 여호와인 줄 알 것이다.'
  1. I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
  2. Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives,
  3. therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the LORD.' "
