- 사람은 모든 상거래에 있어서 정직해야 한다. 이것이 여호와께서 세우신 원칙이다.
- 왕은 악을 허용해서는 안 된다. 이것은 나라가 의로써 굳게 세워지기 때문이다.
- 왕은 진실한 말을 듣고 싶어하며 정직하게 말하는 자를 사랑한다.
- 왕이 화가 나면 죽음의 사자처럼 무서워도 지혜로운 사람은 그 노여움을 누그러지게 한다.
