- 악한 일을 계획하는 사람을 흔히 음모가라고 부른다.
- 미련한 자의 책략은 죄이며 거만한 자는 사람들의 미움을 받는다.
- 네가 어려움을 당할 때 낙심하면 너는 정말 약한 자이다.
- 너는 억울하게 죽게 된 사람을 구하며 살인자의 손에 끌려가는 사람을 구출하는 데 주저하지 말아라.
- 너는 알지 못했다는 이유로 네 책임을 회피하지 말아라. 네 마음을 살피시며 너를 지켜보고 계시는 분이 어찌 그것을 모르겠느냐? 그는 사람이 행한 대로 갚아 주실 것이다.

- He who plots evil will be known as a schemer.
- The schemes of folly are sin, and men detest a mocker.
- If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength!
- Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
- If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?

- 내 아들아, 꿀을 먹어라. 이것이 좋다. 특별히 송이꿀은 더 달다.
- 이와 같이 지혜도 달콤한 것이다. 그러므로 지혜를 얻어라. 분명히 너에게 밝은 미래가 있을 것이며 너의 희망이 끊어지지 않을 것이다.
- 악한 자여, 의로운 사람의 거처를 엿보지 말며 그 집을 약탈하지 말아라.
